This is the second time I have stayed at Debbie and Steves condo me and my family always enjoy when we stay it's always welcoming and feels like home kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal always cleaned and of course the closet full of everything you need for the beach the wagon is great sunsets and dolphins all week from balcony it was so enjoyable we will definitely be back again thanks for always being fast to respond.

Nice Quiet Condo

This condo was the perfect stay for us. It was really pretty. We really enjoyed the gated community, the convenient elevators (they were fast) and they had a lot of carts to use to transport your luggage and etc. Loved the keyless entry. The bathrooms looked like they were updated, we loved the stone floor in the shower and the bed was pretty comfy! My husband enjoyed the beach chairs and the pool. HELPFUL TIP: GO to the bar between the pools and ask them for a bag of ice, they have small, med and large. A large bag is 20# and only $2.99!!! Don't go to the Ice cooler behind the bar it is ore expensive! So close to EVERYTHING!!!! We would love to stay there again!

Not what we paid for

I contacted the Owner before leaving my review several times... They have rcvd photos on all accounts. House Keeping is NON existent. There was hair in the bathroom floors and showers, toilets were DIRTY My feet were black from walking 30 min barefoot in the condo. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were so dirty, we did not use any of the appliances or utensils. The Pillow shams smelled like they had never been washed.. I stripped the entire bed for them to wash and the pillows had horrible stains. Could've accounted for the smell. The Beach access and chair service was also a NO GO. The beach infront of the condo was shut down 4 blocks in front of us.. we had ZERO beach access. We were told to get chairs and carry them down to the beach and walk to ends of construction. My partner has bad knees and simply CAN NOT. Hence us renting beach front w easy access. The machinery ran 24/7 unless it was raining.. literally the worst experience ever in renting a VRBO. I will say the location was great and parking wasn't bad. I gave communication a 3 because of the flippant responses once they rcvd pics.. literally was kinda like.. Sorry bout your luck. Could've at least refunded the cleaning fee since obviously it had not been done in a while. Good luck on this one. I would post pics if the review allowed it.

When something happens that is unfortunate and beyond our control we cannot take responsibility for the event. Every 5 years the beach restoration occurs. It is a time consuming job and disrupts the beach in front of the buildings. It was supposed to be finished in February. We had no way of predicting the workers would run behind. They are completely finished in front of Regency Towers now. It’s kind of like the weather. Only God knows. This set off this guest and made her belligerent on everything else. She started nit picking everything and the cleaning was her target. While I saw the few hairs in her pictures I can explain. The previous guest created excessive cleaning. The cleaner worked longer than usual to remedy hair everywhere like they cut it and left it. We have changed out pillows, pillow covers. Gotten a new bed, bedspreads, shams,etc. She has over dramatized problems with cleaning. The cleaner had cleaned the kitchen cabinets but scratches do occur. The cleaner would not leave toilets, floors, showers undone. When we stay after cleaning I use pots and dishes. I’ve never found them unhealthy and dirty. We answered her courteously as we do all our guests. She is unhinged because of the beach restoration. The cleaner took pictures, too. It’s not what she stated!

Overall Disappointing Experience

Upon arriving to the property well after check-in time (around 11pm) and lugging all of our belongings up to the unit, we find that it had not been cleaned after the previous guests left. All of the bed linens were wadded up in the floor, sand on the floors, food on the counter and in the sink. Needless to say we were not happy. We reached out to the owners to let them know. They were apologetic but that didn’t really help us at the time. Their remedy was for us to go to another property for the night which meant loading everything back up and driving somewhere else only to have to do it all over again the next day. We were exhausted from the trip and decided to lay a blanket over the bed and sleep there for the night. We washed some linens so that we could have some clean for the morning. Before we could finish our first cup of coffee the next morning, the cleaning person was knocking on the door wanting to come in. At this point we had to get dressed and leave because the person was hanging around outside the door. The owners never reached back out to make sure everything was ok and/or acceptable. We did receive a message saying they had refunded one night. While we appreciated that, we felt like more compensation was warranted. The cleaning fee should’ve been refunded at the very least. After the stay we reached out to the owners but received no response. At this point we would not recommend this unit or any others managed by this company. The unit itself is decent but not great. It’s definitely beat on pretty hard as a rental and lacks the personal touches we’re used to from similar properties. No hand soap in the bathrooms and the linens were comparable to a two star hotel. They have literature throughout the unit asking people to not leave anything less than a five star review online. From one business owner to another: you have to earn those 5 stars. Sadly you did not.

Yes, we screwed up the cleaner’s schedule which is a rarity-Once in about 5 years. We are human and make mistakes but not often at least. I don’t know what else we could have communicated because we apologized many times. We offered to put them up immediately at another and they elected not to do this. Usual check in is at 4 pm and they didn’t arrive to around 11pm. Had this happened earlier, it would have been rectified that afternoon. We got our cleaner there early the next morning. They acted like they didn’t want her there nor to communicate with us; so, we didn’t want to bother them. We refunded them a night’s stay. The cleaner still came to clean and we still had to pay her. We feel the angry complaints about the unit itself are very unwarranted because the condo has been renovated and remodeled in 2021. It is very nice even with new furniture. We know it looks better than most RT condos for sure. We ask that you look at all the 5 star ratings we have had over the years; know that this was an unusual event and not our typical way of taking care of our guests

Great vacation

The property was the nicest unit we have stayed in at this location. We have stayed at 4 other properties there. The office was closed at 4:30 when we arrived but the guard gave us a temporary parking pass. WE grilled out 3 times and it was great. We needed to relax and this was a perfect place to do that. Thank you and we will stay with you again.

Fun time ... had by all!

Visited off-season (December), with little or no traffic. Condo decor very nice & comfortable. Beach access is steps away from complex, and three pools are available, for swimming. Views of Gulf, from 10th floor, are excellent, watching dolphins and ships, pass by. Nearby State Parks offer great walking trails. Plenty of restaurants in area, to choose from. Communication with owners is excellent. Overall ... fun time.

Wonderful trip!

Easy beach access and nice pools. Finding a parking space was a little difficult and to get on the elevator was a nightmare but I do know they were at max capacity and it was the week of the 4th so it was to be expected. When we went to check-in the Resort charged me a processing fee? The one negative thing I have to say about the whole property is I saw roaches pretty much on every floor. Not many, but still more than I have seen at any condo.

Most relaxing vaca

We loved staying here with the tiki bar and bikini bobs and how well the room was equipped we had the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We would definitely stay here again.

Fun in the sun!

We had a wonderful time staying at Regency Towers. The location is convenient to many wonderful restaurants. The complex has 2 big pools, a kid's pool and a great green space for kids to play ball and just be kids. The beaches are beautiful and the water is clear. The condo owner was easy to work with and very responsive to my calls and text messages.

The best Panama experience yet!

Checking in was a breeze and no keys to worry about using a code lock for entry. The condo was perfectly clean and decorated with 2 full bathrooms and 2 bedrooms and washer and dryer. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans, crockpot etc. The balcony is perfect for watching stingrays and sunsets. The beach is a quick walk away along with the pools and a hot tub. The kids as well as the adults had so much fun, we will rent from them again. Perfect!

Bring Cleaning Supplies

Arrived and immediately saw food on the floor and bugs in the kitchen. Large clump of hair in one tub and the other had sand in it. There was months of dust on pictures, vents, and furniture. In the living room there was a box of Qtips. Sent pictures to owners and required house keeping come back the next day. The owner quickly responded saying that was not their standard but the house cleaner "was new and she would need to learn". The cleaner did return and did the basics but did not do the deep clean that was necessary. Clearly the owners have no idea what is happening at their rentals or they don't care because their condo was not being cleaned for some time. Industry stardard is leaving a full roll of toliet paper in each bathroom and a full roll of paper towel until the renter can get to the store. There was 1/4 roll of each. I will say the condo was well stocked and there were plenty of towels. Even though we brought our own laundry detergent, it was provided which is not typical. Most of the furniture has been heavily used and outdated. I like to rent from condo owners because they typically take very good care of their property becuase they stay there as well. I later found out the owners had several properties "property investment company" and lived states away which then explained everything.

While some of this may have been true there’s much that isn’t. This guest came when we were trying a new cleaner. We let that cleaner go immediately because of what this guest mentions in the cleaning and leaving supplies. We now have an excellent team of cleaners and have had no problems with them. The HOA has a monthly appointment with pest control. After they spray, yes, you may see some dead bugs if it is between cleanings but that shows it’s working. We stayed there a few weeks prior to this guest. I personally deep cleaned the condo. There was NOT months of dust. Dealing with the public these days can be challenging. I’ll let you formulate your own opinion of this type guest. We have been vacation rental owners for over 20 years. Our success is because we do care. We want our guests happy and desiring to return.
