アパートは小さな静かな住居にあり、南/南西に面して非常に明るく、メインルームから海が見えます：

Small flat on the second level of a multi-flat building, the sea can be seen when leaning out the window. The shower is tiny and the area in front of the basin is soaking wet when using the shower.The shower is, by the way, only reachable through one of the bedrooms.Often there was a smell like an open drainpipe, and at the end of our stay the toilet could no longer be used, so we had to resort to the common toilets on the same floor.The location is great, though, Omaha beach is basically outside the door.

Excellent location - everything we needed

This is a cute, clean property with a fantastic location. You can see Omaha Beach from the window. It is a bit small, but I had expected that from other reviews and didn’t bother us. We used it mostly to sleep and shower. There is a small grocery store not far that was perfect for stocking up on drinks and snacks. Owner was great at getting back to us right away when we had a couple of questions.

Convenient - so much to see

We enjoyed our stay in June. The apartment is small, but met the needs of our family of 4. Convenient location with so much to see. We were there the weekend of the D-Day Anniversary celebration and WOW, we felt like we were right in the heart of so many activities. Yet, the evenings were so peaceful and quiet since everything closes relatively early. The ocean view is amazing. The beds were basically futon mattresses, so very thin. I would recommend an upgrade on the beds. We cooked some meals which was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Normandy Bucket List

Visiting Normandy for several days on the June 6th anniversary fulfilled a life-long dream of mine. I am an avid history geek, and staying in this apartment so close to the shores of Omaha Beach was breathtaking. It's footsteps away from Dog Green and seeing it from the apartment window is an emotional reminder of the battle that took place on that day. If being right in the middle of Omaha Beach is important to you, then Boutik'Home is for you. The unit is expectedly European and cozy. It's on the 3rd floor, with a private toilet in the hallway and separate shower in the master bedroom. The kitchen room is modern with all the appliances and cookware you will need. There's even a futon for sitting in the room that was great for reading under the huge west facing window. The beds are comfortable in both rooms, and there's a futon in the kitchen room for gathering with your family or friends. There's a wonderful creperie downstairs and the proprietor is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. A market is nearby for buying supplies, and you are so incredibly close to other restaurants. Parking is steps away from the front door. This really is the ideal location to access everything in Omaha Beach area. You will not be disappointed if experiencing D-Day beaches is your priority.

Appartement très bien placé, en bord de mer, proche des choses à visiter dans le coin. L’appartement est assez vieux, nous avions des fourmis volantes dans les fenêtres, quand on entre dans le hall de la résidence il n’y a pas une odeur très agréable mais dans l’ensemble l’appartement est bien équipé il n’y a rien a redire sur ça. Literie assez raide. Le code wifi n’a pas fonctionné malgré qu’on ai bien tapé le bon code. Nous gardons tout de même un bon souvenirs de nos vacances en Normandie.

Het appartement is een geschikte uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Normandië. Slapen, ontbijten en dan heel de dag op pad. Drie volwassenen passen net.

Beaucoup de choses à voir, à découvrir.tres intéressant.

Très déçu. Appartement pas vraiment adapté pour 4 personnes. Surtout la salle de bain. Très étroite et pas fonctionnel. Surtout pas pour des personnes âgés. Dans le couloir, les sànitaires très sale et ne parlons pas de l'odeur dégout. La table de la cuisine pas du tout pour 4 personnes. Le canapé petit et très inconfortable. A changer.

Chaleureux et convivial, ce petit appartement est bien conçu avec des chambres spacieuses. Très touristiques la journée, la résidence est calme la nuit.

Bel appartement bien situé. Nous avons aimé les petites attentions du propriétaire (réserves d'huile, de capsules de café, huiles essentielles, serviettes hygiénique, autres). Bref,nous avons trouvé cela très sympa.Nous avons aimé discuter avec la vendeuse de glace en bas de l'immeuble. Nous ecommandons sans réserve

Appartement correct pour un court séjour mais à rafraîchir. Pour quatre personnes l'espace est un peu juste, mais la situation est parfaite car la plage est juste à coté.

Appartement calme et très bien situé pour visiter la region. Par contre, les prestations sont en dessous du prix demandé: propreté moyenne(nous avons été envahis par des fourmis la 1ere nuit dans la chambre),douche trop petite.sur l'annonce, il est précisé que les capsules de café sont fournies alors que la boite etait vide,pas de cafetiere electrique.remise des clés en 3 mn chrono.cet appartement ne mérite pas le prix demandé.

Appartement fonctionnel bien équipé. Bonne literie. Deux vraies chambres séparées. Lumineux. Emplacement idéal bord de plage Omaha beach pour découverte des sites du débarquement. Veloroute du littoral. Possibilité de stocker en lieu sûr au Rdv vélos ou poussette. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Compact apartment close to the beach, ideal for young family and good communication

Recommend for easy access to the beach and local WW2 attractions (literally 2 mins walk, can see the beach from the apartment). Free car park just outside the apartment block with plenty of spaces in the evening. There is a bistro/restaurant opposite but unless you eat shell fish or pizza the menu is a bit limited for evening meals. That is the only place to eat in the village at night but there is a small grocery store 5 min walk up the hill which sells most essentials so we cooked ourselves most evenings. The apartment itself is quite compact but has 2 good sized bedrooms and everything a family needs for a week or short stay. Might be a bit cramped for 4 adults or older teenagers in the kitchen/living room as there is only a small 2-seater sofa, however there are 4 chairs/stools as well and a small table and breakfast bar. Impressed that the kitchen was stocked with washing-up liquid, hand soap, tea towels and coffee pods, plus extra toilet rolls available (usually expected to bring or buy your own). All in all we had an enjoyable stay, communication when booking was quick and easy (we booked a mid-week stay only 4 days in advance which many owners don’t allow).

Appartement très bien situé, calme et chambres spacieuses. Canapé tout juste confortable, cuisine bien équipée. Impossible d'allumer le téléviseur malgré les instructions. Hormis ces petits détails nous avons passées un bon séjour.

Location is great, but apartment is not comfortable and big enough for 4 persons

Location is perfect. Very well situated, not only near the beach but also near a lot of the D Day sites. However: we stayed in many many Home Away homes throughout the world, but this was the first home that didn't live up to its expectations. We were aware we would be staying in a small apartment with small shower and bathroom facilities which we read about in the previous reviews. That said, the kitchen and living room really are too small for a family of four. There isn't enough room to sit down comfortably to have a family dinner (only 2 chairs and a small table, the rest of us had to eat at the kitchen bar). The couch is too small and also too low, which makes it very uncomfortable. The bedrooms are big, but there is not enough room to put away your clothes as there are a lot of decorations on all the open shelves. Also, when we arrived the house was clean, but it could have been cleaned a little bit better. Luckily we had beautiful weather all week, allowing us to go out from early morning till evening. We loved the area and the beautiful sunsets at the beach!
