We had a perfect view of the beach and water and watch boats come and go. We just had to step out to the boardwalk in front and walk every day everywhere. Also, our apartment was in the middle of the bassin, convenient for groceries, shops and restaurants. Carole, our concierge, was lovely and responded quickly to our questions as we settled in for our weeklong stay. Highly recommended!

As everyone says, it is a really good rental, clean, brilliant view, great balcony, not as small as it seems at first, and everything works. The care taken by Carole, who works for the owner, was exceptional however. She waited for us past 10pm when both our Eurostar and TGV to Bordeaux were delayed on the Sunday and greeted us with great charm and professionalism. At the end she asked us whether anything was missing in way of kitchen equipment and a vegetable grater and potato masher were immediately bought for the next guests. Terrific.

The apartment was perfectly located, with easy access to the town, shops and restaurants. The view from the apartment is amazing! You look straight out onto the beach and bay, with lovely views of the sea and boats. The apartment itself is very clean and well equipped, there was everything we needed for our stay. We were met on arrival by Carole (the host/concierge) who was fantastic - she was friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed 3 nights but wished we had had longer at the apartment and in Arcachon. We would definitely stay in the apartment again should we return to the area.

Hautement recommandable.
