Indigo East 2004 - A Perfect Getaway

This unit was comfortable and very clean! The kitchen was well stocked and the 'keeping room' off the kitchen was adorable. The pictures on the listing don't really do it justice. We will definitely be back.

Great location and amenities

We loved this location, and the set-up of the unit was perfect. Indigo itself was well-situated and the amenities were exactly what we wanted. In addition, the management staff set everything up nicely for our visit. The only problem was some cleanliness issues that I didn't bother to report - kitchen cabinets (inside and out), some shelves, master bath toilet room, baseboards, etc. It just looked as if it could use some additional attention. But we loved the area and will probably return!

Wonderful stay

Great amenities and very clean. There needs to be better signage for elevators in garage area. Many guests were just as confused as was our family. And, larger signage on inside of elevator on which side of numbers to push. Garage parking was a tight fit and had to back up all the way out if no spots available. No room to turn vehicle around.

Great place

The condo was amazing. The views were spectacular to the ocean and the inter coastal. The unit was larger than we expected and very well equip with everything you need for cooking and enjoying your stay.

Unit is very dated

We have stayed at Indigo multiple times and this unit was far and away the least impressive. The TV’s are tiny and dated as is everything else about the unit. The oven is terrible. It won’t get over 325 degrees and it takes nearly an hour for it to get there. They should not advertise the pull out couch as a sleeping option. The mattress is maybe 2 inches thick and the metal frame is bent and has springs sticking up in all directions. It is not a sleep option for a human being. Love indigo. Would not stay in this unit again though.

Love the view

This is the second time we have stayed at this condo. We were a little disappointed with the cleanliness (carpets) and the worn look of bed spreads and towels. The toilet made a squealing noise and it took repair man 2 trips to fix it. Hopefully the management will take care of these items.

My family had a wonderful experience in this condo. A very spacious 2 bedroom with plenty of room for everyone. The extra den is a big bonus to this condo! Kitchen had everything we needed.

The Indigo....Our “go to” Place

My husband and I are returning guests to Indigo. We’ve stayed in large family units and the penthouse, but this was our first time for a “smaller unit”. We LOVED every minute of it. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths was more than enough for just the 2 of us. Spacious “well-stocked” kitchen. So well stocked we cooked every night except one, thanks to the local marina and Publix. That’s a real “first”, on a vacation, for us. We liked the living room layout. I especially loved how the couch faced the beach and ocean. We liked the 2 recliner chairs, facing the TV. Very comfy at night for movie time. Good WiFi too. We loved everything about the balcony and the 20th floor view except for the fact it did not get enough sun on it, for our tastes. However, we were there in April, when the mornings and nights were still a tad chilly. I bet we would welcome the shady cool quietness of that balcony in July or August! The bayside balcony was lovely as well with very nice outdoor furniture. The master bedroom was nicely done....comfortable HUGE bed and soft fluffy pillows. We were thankful for the extra fuzzy blankets too. We used the laundry room and dishwasher twice, each. All easy to use and in good condition. We used several appliances and found all to be in good working order. The unit itself was super easy to keep clean (kitchen and bathrooms). The staff at Indigo were gracious and helpful as always. There was some grounds maintenance being performed but we are used to that being the case especially in Spring. Everything was clean and neat and secure (pool area, lobby, garage, elevators). I honestly did not want to leave. We always recommend Indigo to friends and family. We will be back! Hopefully sooner rather than later. It’s a beautiful, relaxing home away from home.

Beautiful Condo

We stay at Perdido Key every year and find it to our liking. The building is beautiful and well managed. Fantastic pool and beach service. Your close to cheap ice, ice cream, great beaches and grocery stores. The proximity to Johnson Beach and Gulf Shores pier is key for us. All the turtle nests were a nice slice of nature, we saw turtles in the surf and Dolphins very close. Check in was perfect and the staff very professional.

This was our first time at Perdido Key. What an enjoyable trip we had. Can't say enough about the amenities and the condo in general. Everything was well stocked. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere. Loved the pool and the beach. Thanks for opening your home to us.

Second "EXCEPTIONAL" stay!!!

This is the second opportunity I have had to stay in the Indigo East 2004 condo. It is exceptionally appointed, very clean, and offers one of the most beautiful views of the gulf one could imagine..I was on the balcony when the Blue Angels flew by during my first stay...amazing sight! The owners have made sure the kitchen is fully equipped with everything one would need for preparing meals. However, since I am one to try the local restaurants, versus chains, I don't use the kitchen often. There are so many great restaurants close by to choose from...anyway, it is a vacation...who wants to cook! This is one condo you will be glad you rented. I started out visiting Perdido Key in 2002, renting and staying at another property. Once I had the opportunity to stay at Indigo East and West, I was sold. I won't go anywhere else! This condo is now my "first request" when I make reservations through Luxury Coastal Vacations! I look forward to returning there again as soon as possible. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy your condo. It was an extremely pleasant experience. Cannot wait to return soon!

Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My rental experience was superb. The condo was immaculate, the service provided by LCV was superior. Personally, I never rent through other companies, as I have always been treated with excellence by the staff of LCV. I highly recommend LCV for vacation rentals. My experience with LCV has spanned over several years. Every experience has been great. If I ever experienced a problem with a unit, it was addressed promptly by the LCV staff. Wonderful experience. Love Indigo at Perdido Key

We love Perdido Key and we loved this condo! The view from the 20th floor is amazing. The condo is furnished well with plenty of places for everyone to relax. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare your catch for lunch or dinner. We loved having the double chair and umbrella on the beach. This is our second trip to Indigo and we absolutely love the set up. You don't have people running up and down hallways because the elevator opens up to your private entry way to your condo. We had a fantastic week in Perdido and can't wait to stay here again!

A well done Condo.

Nicely laid out. Like the eating area in the great room. This is a much better place to eat. Owner has thought of everything one could want. Good lighting. Like the twin beds in the guest room rather than a Queen Bed. Charlene is a great person with which to work.

What a resort!

Indigo is definitely a luxury resort. High end everything and what a view from this 20th floor beauty! The complex is family friendly and the beach service is a must. We are going back again for 2010 and bringing four more families with our group.

Beautiful Condo

From the moment we pulled into the front gate, we felt at home. The grounds are immaculate. Luggage carts are located in the basement for ease of taking your things up. They even have grocery carts available so that when you come back from the store, you don't have to hand tote everything! The staff was very friendly and helpful at the Indigo. The unit was even better than described. It was extremely clean, and very well decorated. The layout was perfect for us. The kitchen was spacious and lacked nothing in the way of utensils. We had 7 people staying there and up to 8 people at dinner, and we weren't crowded at all. The views were breathtaking from the front and back balcony. The pools were great, and one of the reasons why we chose this property. The two beach chairs and umbrella that come with the rental were excellent to sit on and just enjoy the sun and the ocean. As sometime who exercises consistently, I was impressed with the exercise room. There are several ellipticals, treadmills, and bikes for cardio. They have free weights and a large multi-exercise machine as well. There is a great bathroom/ shower right off the pool so you don't have to go up to the room. The owner's representative was available to address any issue and to meet our needs. I was thrilled with the quality of service she provided. Thanks Charlene! Keith
