Beautiful villa on top of a hill

Incredible 360 degree views of Capri and Naples. Gianluca was wonderful—helped us book dinner every night with private shuttles to and from the property.

Beautiful villa with incredible views

The villa was really well appointed and looked even better than the pictures. Had everything we needed and the views were incredible. The Feeling Italy team were super helpful arranging day trips and offering great restaurant recommendations. Nerano is lovely and a few local restaurants offer taxi services which is great. Would love to return soon.

A wonderful view!

The well appointed property is settled on the top of a hill giving the most amazing views 360 degrees from where you stand in the yard, bringing a calmness to the soul. The interior is kept very clean and all bedrooms have an en-suite. Our concierge, Feeling Italy, was available to our concerns and needs!

Incredible views from the pool area overlooking Capri, the Gulf of Naples and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The pool was warm when we visited in early October. My wife and I opted to book a private chef through the property manager, Feeling Italy. It was excellent - Gennaro cooked us an amazing and romantic dinner paired with a lovely local wine. The location and proximity to Sorrento, and the beach in Marina del Cantone was excellent. We visited several local restaurants that were all delicious. We recommend Eughenes.

Amazing stay at Casa del Capitano !

My family and I ( party of 6 plus a toddler ) stayed in Villa del Capitano for a week and it was undoubtedly one of the best family holidays we have ever had ! The villa was amazing both inside and outside . The pool area was fantastic with plenty of seating and space for our little grandson to run about . The views of the villa were incredible !! Looking across to Capri and the sunsets were out of this world ! Breathtakingly beautiful ! Surreal at times . Feeling Italy were amazing to book with . We were a bit hesitant as coming from the Uk but Sergio was fantastic and reassured us we would be fine . We were so glad we made the decision to go . Our host at the villa Gianlucca was amazing !! He contacted us prior to arrival and took us to the villa . He made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble . We arranged for an Italian meal to be cooked for us all one evening and he sorted it all out . It was a fantastic evening and the food was divine !! He also organised a boat trip for us all to go to Capri , stopping off for lunch and a swim . Our whole experience from booking to staying in the villa was perfect . We were so sad to leave but definitely home to return next year . I thoroughly recommend staying at this wonderful villa and can’t thank the team of Feeling Italy enough for making our holiday so special . ! Joy & family . Scotland .

Heaven on Earth...It doesn't get better than this

Thank you so much for an absolutely magical vacation. We truly landed in paradise at Casa del Capitano and the welcome from Gianluca welcome made it even more memorable. We will never forget the fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, prosciutto that was waiting for us, the breakfast, and of course the Prosecco! This property is truly outstanding. Pictures do not do it justice. We were two families of 4, and it was perfect. The views are hard to imagine until you arrive - it is a 360 from Vesuvius to the Amalfi coast to Naples, with Capri as the primary view. We had stunning sunsets every single night. The Feeling Italy team was outstanding, from the moment we booked, until we sadly left the property. We booked the day on the boat to Positano and Amalfi (a must, if you can do it), the Pizzaoli dinner (again, we LOVED this), and the Nonna dinner (so memorable). The team also arranged our trip to Pompeii which was seamless. We are so grateful for you and your team’s attention to details and level of service. Every single person we dealt with at Feeling Italy was so lovely and helpful!! Please extend our gratitude to your whole team, including Martina, Nonna Carmella and her husband, and of course Sergio!! Casa del Capitano is truly a gem and we feel privileged to have been able to stay there.

I didn't want to leave!

The views from this villa were breathtaking and I could happily have sat and looked over Capri all day. The villa was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed but on a 'no frills' basis. Located at the top of a hill you will require a car to get to anywhere, but once you have mastered the Italian roads (and their drivers!) there is so much to do and see around this area and all of it very beautiful. One point to note is that because of being right on the top of the hill, there was a definate cool breeze at night, even in August, so if you like to sit outside at night then take a cardigan! The staff from 'Feeling Italy' were really helpful and always on the end of the phone line to answer any queries or questions we had. Would definately recommend.
