Great place stay

Pretty and secure neighborhood with delightful pool. Close to Foodland grocery store and local restaurants. Had issues with AC and property manager was right on it. Loves the snorkels and masks. Parking two cars 9. Garage is tight but okay.

Not as advertised due to door damage

I had two requests when we checked in: 1. More towels - We had 8 people but 5 bath towels. This was addressed but, 48 hours later after multiple calls. 2. Shared Bathroom door jammed - the 2nd floor shared bathroom door upstairs was jammed and would not close all the way. This left a larger gap in the door making it not private and unusable when using the toilet (you had a straight shot of whoever was sitting on it). I complained about this multiple times by calling, texting and eventually speaking with the local property manager in Sydnee. I have multiple texts to her that were ignored completely after I told her no one showed up to fix the door. I even said I would fix it but needed some tools dropped off. I was ignored however by Sydnee. I don’t understand being ghosted after multiple attempts for updates from Sydnee. We have stayed at Vacasa properties with positive experiences and customer service in the past however this was by far our worst customer service experience and are very disappointed. I have never left a negative review of any property however must be honest. A simple fix went ignored and was never addressed. I would not stay here I less the jammed door is fixed. The property manager ignored our attempts to request it be addressed.

Parking was horrible and too many rules

This townhouse was spacious and accommodated my family. The pool was nice and we used it daily. House was cleaned and provided beach supplies. We love the location, but so many rules! I understand the rules are to accommodate the residents and visitors. But there were fines imposed on everything. Never stayed at a place with so many rules and fines. The parking situation was a nightmare. The garage can fit two small cars. Thank god for my husband who has amazing parking skills and parked our two Jeeps. Was told by managing company to park at golf course next door. It is not free parking there. The bed in main bedroom is a safety hazard. I almost sprain my ankle getting up to restroom in middle of the night. There were so many house and property rules. It was HOA on steroids!

Needs some updating

This condo was mostly clean and in a convenient location near Hanalei and the north shore beaches. It overlooks the neighborhood pool and has a small outdoor patio. Everyone in our party had complaints about the uncomfortable beds and living room furniture. Also, one bathroom door wouldn't close completely and the shower heads were not clean. With a few updates, I would consider staying here again.

Nice home away from home

Very good layout and fits a lot of people. Well stocked with kitchen equipment, in a quiet neighborhood and with great pool/hot tub/grill area. A lot of the neighbors own so it has a better atmosphere than where everything is short term rentals. Central A/C was actually too strong most times, we ran it mostly in the evenings. Some beach toys and chairs you can take along. Garage fit two large cars easily.

Very spacious!

Provided everything we could have needed and had lots of space to spread out. Close to pool and hot tub which were very nice, but still felt very private. A few negatives that were minor...one of the single beds was extremely saggy in the middle and not comfortable (left note for owner), garbage cabinet was really stinky when we arrived that required cleaning and no drawers in master bedroom (but large walk-in closet for hanging clothes). Overall, was very happy with the place and its amenities. Would stay there again!

Perfect Condo in Kauai

We really enjoyed this condo. Veey clean and well-appointed. Location in Princeville was very convenient to all the areas we love on the North Shore. Master bedroom is very romantic! Would definitely stay in this unit and property again.

Good condo!

Nice condo. Clean. Well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc. Comfy beds that suited our family of 5. Complex is nice, quiet, and pretty. Some of the older residents didn’t appreciate kids making noise in the pool. 10 min drive to the excellent Hanalei beach, 20-25 min to other beaches on the north & east side. Close to a decent grocery store too.

Quiet and Peaceful Neighborhood, Good Location

We enjoyed our stay at this property though there were a number of challenges. Overall, the property was clean and the accommodations worked well for our family. Lanais were great and location was very good (overlooking the pool). Be sure to bring all your own ziplock bags/foil/saran wrap/spices/oil, etc. It is difficult to park 2 larger cars in the garage. There is no street parking except for a few ‘guest spots’ which are limited to a 6-hour window and mostly occupied. It was an undertaking to safely get in and out of the garage without hitting our 2nd car, the wall of the garage, or the garage doors of the 2 other neighbors. Upon check-in, we found what we regarded as a dangerous condition, a metal leg of the coffee table was broken/protruding in such a way that our twin 3-year old grandchildren could be seriously injured. We moved the table across the room and used the wall to block the danger, but then had no coffee table for the week. The master bathroom shower had a fair amount of mold and the door of the shower had a fair amount of dirt in the rail. During our stay, the hot water heater went out for a 24-hour period. Initially, we thought it might be from overuse, but when we returned from a day of activities, it was still cold. We called for service, but the staff could not come until the next day. My husband researched the internet to assess what the problem could be. The following day, using a screwdriver we were able to remove the panels, hunt around for a reset switch and reset the water heater. This action restored the hot water. When the on-site staff arrived, they asked us to show them how we had fixed it so they could learn for the future. Seems we might have been without hot water longer if we hadn’t fixed it ourselves. It was a big inconvenience to take cold showers and you can imagine how well that went over with 3-year old toddlers. During our stay, the washing machine went out for a 3-day period. At some point, the on-site staff came to look at the washing machine, were not able to fix it, and escalated to an outside repair service who could not come for 2 weeks, long after our stay. It was a big inconvenience to be unable to wash beach towels, clothing, etc. particularly since we were traveling with toddlers. The door to the upstairs lanai/balcony does not lock. This made me uncomfortable. Responses by Vacasa after our trip have been very slow. I’m now forced to take up my concerns with Visa.

Beautiful, specious, and quiet, with responsive service

Gorgeous townhome, plenty of room, really quiet. Not on any major roads. Super nice TV. Very responsive team when there was a maintenance issue. Only thing worth mentioning is it's not really near the beach. We knew that going it, and if this place were next to the beach it would be in a completely different price group. But anyone renting should just know that you basically have to drive to any view or a beach. It's like a very nice suburban townhome. But it's a super nice and clean and easy neighborhood.

Great place for big family

Our family of 8 stayed here for Christmas and we loved it. We've been to many condos and air B&Bs and we thought Nihilani was up there with the best. Location is great and unit had all the amenities we needed. Close to Hanalei and north shore beaches.

Awesome condo for a family to enjoy Princeville

The condo was big enough for 4 adults, two parents and two adult kids to have space to relax. The condo was fully stocked. Very organized. They had beach towels and beach chairs fir our use. They even had umbrellas. Needed fir the rain. The pool was close by. Hot tub was lovely!
