When we arrived, there was no cable TV or Internet. The cable company came and hooked up the Internet, but not the television cable. Was there for five days and never got cable TV communicated with the rental company every day and was told somebody had to be at the unit in order to get the cable TV working. So one person in our group every day had to stay behind and wait for the cable company who never showed up the whole time we were there.

Fantastic experience!! Ease of check-in process and condo is super roomy and very clean. Was so nice being steps away from the pool as well as the lake for the kids to fish some. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will most definitely be back.

Bachelor trip

It was a nice getaway for a bachelor party! Probably would've been nice to have coffee at the house and maybe a few updates like a smart TV but all in all it was a good stay!:)

Our unit was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed. Aside from a small electric incident, which was addressed very quickly, all else was great

Do not book this rental through Vtrips, they are terrible. You have to pick your parking passes up from a different location than if you didn’t book through them. Could not get in touch with the actual office that had our parking passes and when I called Vtrips, the number they gave me was wrong. The property manager was nice, but not very helpful. We had several bees nests and I got stung while trying to take the recycling out. Someone was supposed to come and spray and take down the nests and they only sprayed the nests, so the bees came back. Property manager was slow to respond, my husband ended up taking down some of the nests. Workers showed up 2 days before the end of our stay and took over the entire back deck. We were unable to use the deck or the pathway to the pool behind our unit for those last 2 days. The workers were loud, especially with my 1 year old trying to nap, and when I let the property manager know, she never responded. I even sent her pictures.

I have used Vrbo several times. First time using Vtrips and found check-in frustrating. told to pick up parking pass at 578 Wm. Hilton Parkway at 4pm. Arrived at office, no one there. Waited, left and returned, still no one. A maintenance man showed up. Asked if I was there for parking pass and if I checked the green box located next to front door. I said no because it wasn’t after five. Looked inside, nothing. We then went inside office where he found three passes, none of which were mine. Hecalled Camelia on the phone who told him pass was at Palmetto Dunes pickup office. She said a message was sent out but I never received it. Did receive message that door code had been changed. Finally picked up pass, went to condo only to find door code didn’t work. Called Vtrips and was given a rather long number which didn’t work and then given another number. It worked and we got into condo at 5pm, 4 door codes later. After unpacking, went out for dinner. Found out faucet in kitchen sink was broken and handle ended up in my hand and smoke detector was chirping meaning battery wasn’t working. I called office to report the issue the following morning. The faucet was fixed at some point not sure when as we were in and out most of the day. Had another issue with toilet in master bathroom. Called and work order was placed. 24 hrs later no one came so I called again. Told I would be called with ETA. Never happened. I checked toilet again and giggled a couple of things and it worked.

As described. Fantastic location

A great location in Palmetto Dunes. Short bike ride (or drive) to the beach, and a shorter walk to the tennis courts/general store. The kitchen could use a few more of the basics (salt and pepper shakers etc) but there was ample of everything else. Washer/Dryer setup is a bit awkward but works fine. A small problem was dealt with promptly and with great communcation by the property manager.

Vacation Week

Although the overall description of the property was accurate, the renovation work was not up to standards. Several receptacle and switch boxes were not secure in the wall with one being totally pulled from the wall behind the bed. The bathroom fan did not clear steam from the shower and the cabinet in which the washer/dryer combo was located was not mounted securely in place (it leaned forward with adjacent door trim the keeping it from falling to the floor). The dishwasher also was not secured as it tipped forward when the wire shelves were pulled forward. Other issues to be addressed: Parking, Construction work on the fence and siding all week, Major amount of dirt/debris splashed on our cars from contract work, AC went out due to construction outside the unit (had to troubleshoot this personally), calls made to VRBO were answered and they were courteous but no follow up calls received when inquired about parking etc... I know not all of this falls on the owner and there is a realization that projects and such are not always at opportune times so specific concerns with photos will be addressed privately.

Parking is an issue

We rented here to check in on a property we are having renovated. Parking is a major issue in Queens Grant-it’s limited and if you can’t park in your lot or the one across the way-you may have circle round or park by the lagoon. I feel terrible for the full time property owners that live here. The oven Broil did not work and I let management know-they got back to me and stated they didn’t know-I also fished an ice bag out of the garbage disposal that had been in there a while. Beds were comfy and back deck was nice. Stacked washer and dryer difficult to access because of cabinent it is in.

Vrbo was not easy to work with.

Not the owners fault. But initial over- charge by Vrbo, Phone number not always reliable, and directions unclear made for some frustration.

Queens Grant Villa

Great location beautiful back deck and grille. Good amount of privacy. Very close to the pool and lagoon but be careful of the alligators. Would stay there again. Lost a JBL speaker let me know if it is found.
