The property itself is not bad, excellent location, easy access to the City and halfmoon bay. The checkin process was very unpleasant, the time we arrived, we found our access pass was revoked. 9 persons waited outside and don’t know what happened and what will happen for that night. Was told the document was not accurate, not sure why that was not checked earlier. Though the issue was resolved, but it was very poor experience.

Pretty house but awkward setup inside

We had 11 people, and it felt crowded all the time. They hadn't left towels for any of the kids staying upstairs, but the host made sure we were able to get the extra towels we needed. There was no door on the bathroom upstairs, so the two teen girls we had with us felt really uncomfortable showering in the upstairs bathroom, which only had a curtain blocking it off from the main part of the bedroom. The kitchen was fairly small, and there wasn't enough room for even half of us to eat comfortably in the eat-in area. Water ran cold in the shower if water anywhere else in the house was running. The best part about this house was the hot tub. Pretty much everyone enjoyed using it, and we also loved the location. So close to the beach -- within an easy walk. Be advised, there are A LOT of steps, both inside and outside. And sound carried in the house, so if noise is an issue for you, perhaps this isn't the house you want to rent. Most of the family really did have fun staying here, so I am giving our stay an overall positive rating.

Family friendly, hot tub, with SF downtown nearby

It was a ton of fun staying here with the whole family. The hot tub was great, and we were just a hop and skip away from downtown San Francisco and all the fun things to do there. Thank you for a great place and great hosting!

Very enjoyable

This house is very unique, beautiful and perfectly close to everything. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to walk to a beach and a very quick drive into San Francisco. There are a ton of stairs outside the house and inside. Everything was very clean inside the house. The outdoor sitting area was a bit gross with bird droppings. We didn’t spend a lot of time outside though. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you.

Relaxing Family Beach Getaway in Pacifica

**5/5 Stars** We had a wonderful family getaway in Pacifica! The location was perfect for escaping the city and enjoying a relaxing beach retreat. It's very close to Rockaway Beach and other neighboring beaches, which made exploring the area super convenient. We loved spotting the bunnies and banana slugs around the property and unwinding in the hot tub after our adventures. The house had plenty of space for our family, which made our stay extra comfortable. One note: there are a lot of stairs, so it may not be ideal for those with physical disabilities, and the water pressure on the top floor could be better. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would recommend this spot for a peaceful beach getaway!

Nice clean house, comfy beds

House was nice and clean, beds were comfy. Place had all everything you need, not a ton of extras, but enough to get by. Recommend bringing some extra towels with having the hot tub and shower and beach to contend with. Overall very happy with the house. There are a lot of stairs to get into the house and lug all the stuff, not for anyone with physical limitations or elderly. An absolutely fantastic location.

Peaceful coast getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful coastal home! The house was peaceful and quiet, with lovely pocket views of the ocean that made it feel extra special. The chef’s kitchen was a dream to cook in, and the relaxing hot tub tucked under the trees was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. We loved spotting local wildlife — especially the rabbits and even a few banana slugs! With plenty of space and super comfortable beds, it was the ideal getaway for our group. Highly recommend!

Oceanside Getaway

Decent stay

The house is large and fit our family of six very well. The stairs to the house are steeper and longer than anticipated and then more stairs inside. Was fine once we packed our luggage to the house. The ocean sounds at night were lovely and being close driving distance from the ocean was nice. The neighboring houses are very close. First morning we were woken by the neighbors screaming at their children.for an hour straight. With this house being close to the beach and advertised as such, we expected some beach friendly gear on site. We did not pack any, ended up purchasing beach towels, sand toys and chairs. Would recommend for future guests.

Sounds of the ocean

From the house, you can hear the waves of the ocean as they crash on the shore, it’s just a short walk down to the beach. Love it.

Cute house

This property was great for our trip even though it was more space than needed for just the two of us but we booked because the house is so cute. My boyfriend and I loved the master bedroom shower and the hot tub was hot when we arrived. It’s a nice and private little property. The only thing that could have been better was the overall cleanliness of the house the line was and whatnot were fine but many of the walls and ceilings were oddly dirty. We also loved having the washer and dryer. Really not much to complain about other than that! Good tv with streaming nice kitchen with many spices and utensils pans plates etc

The house was clean and comfortable, though too many stairs for my liking, lol. It was a great spot to meet up with family and be close to SF with being near the ocean.

Not As Many Beds As Stated

This was a strange stay. We had trouble getting in - do not try the lock box to the left of the door. We got in when it was dark and saw that first. As we were coming up the stairs in the dark, there were three boxes in the way. 2 large and heavy. When I told the host, they asked if we could bring them inside. l almost put my back out. Then there are not 2 sofabeds, 2 twin beds and 2 doubles in the living room. There is NO sofa bed in the living room. I had many texts with the hosts where they are telling me there IS a sofa bed and there ARE 2 twin beds and 2 doubles, There are not fyi. There are 2 beds only in the living room - double ish - mattresses only. More boxes showed up. They asked if we could bring those in as well. I thought they would offer some money off for the trouble and the mis representation of the beds but they did not. They did respond in a timely manner each time. Good location.

Not as described

So great location, obviously a quick flip house where there is very low water pressure throughout the entire home, dirty , unmaintained exterior, sketchy small balconies where you don't want to stand as they are rusting and can cut you, 70 stairs from the parking where you are in the street essentially (when it appears that you can park in the garage in the ad )to the top floor just a heads up, windows haven't been cleaned in idk how long looks great in the ad but not when you arrive, faucet in master bath didn't work on one side, beds have supports that are bricks and falling over under the beds were things from previous occupants , shows various games to use, they are all missing pieces, over all not a nightmare stay but not what was expected

Beautiful property and great location

The property is beautiful and quiet. Well appointed, tidy, and easy check in. Property management was very responsive. Although the property was very clean, it had strong odors of air freshener that needed to air out. 3 stars for this reason. If you have chemical allergies or asthma, be sure to ask the host to take advanced precautions for your health.

Lots of Space

The house was functional for our group of 8. The beds were all comfortable. The living room furniture was really lacking, only 3-4 people can sit comfortably, which doesn’t work so well, so gathering as a large group isn’t easy. There needs to be a real couch. The kitchen needs to have more pans. We also found the hot tub to be dirty and the out door furniture was also dirty. Lots of bird droppings . Vrbo says that there are fireplaces and there are but they don’t let you use them, which was disappointing because it was a driver for my group. Overall, it was very clean. Minus the trundle in the living room, the mattress was had like dirt on it and tree droppings. They gave a nice little welcome kit when we got there. I also liked that they had shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. Overall a comfortable place that did the job. Needs a little tlc though.

Private & Quiet

Lovely place - do note there are 45 steps up to the front door which is noted in the listing. When inside, very nice, another flight of steps to the main floor with kitchen, new appliances, and everything you need - a prior guest had broken the coffee pot and Marbella had a new one sent but was incompatible - we improvised which was fine, small inconvenience. Upstairs is the Master Suite, very private and comfy bedding. Ocean views are peek-a-boo but a short walk down the street, across Highway 1, and your oceanfront. Nicks Restaurant been there since 1927, a gem. Safeway a mile away. Owls hooting away which was pretty cool. Hot Tub clean and functioned fine. Cable TV which is very welcome as many owners have cut cords for your own streaming service.
