Kapalua Bay Villas 23B1 offers designer upgrades of exotic woods, stone and brushed stainless as well as top of the line appliances - there is no doubt that you will not be satisfied.

Excellent View & Location

Stunning beachfront views.Overall we had an amazing stay. Communication was great, made everything easy. The condo had everything we needed. This is our 4th 1 bdrm condo to stay in, the view and location is our favorite.The only negative, to us, was the comfort of the mattress...hybrid mattress, low profile and very firm (maybe just a personal preference)

Great place with Awesome View

The was a great place and as the description states newly upgraded. The view was amazing!!! The layout was perfect. Very private location, easy to get in and out and great parking. Place had a fully stocked kitchen with the bedroom tucked away from the living area. The lanai was perfect for morning breakfast and you are a very short walk to two beaches. Next time we are in Maui this will be our place to stay!!!!!

This is a beautiful, upscale condo overlooking the ocean and it is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is plenty big enough for a family of 3-4 people. The bathroom is very large with 2 sinks and huge closet. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, and the pull-out sofa was comfortable. We loved sitting out on the lanai watching the waves and since it was still whale season, we were able to spot whales every day. The Kapalua trail is directly below the condo which makes it awesome for morning walks. It is also within walking distance to the Ritz which is fun for morning coffee. The property manager was easy to reach and extremely responsive. Kapalua is a bit further from the action of Kaanapali and very quiet but an easy drive to Whalers Village or even Lahaina if you want a bit more action. A few suggestions that would make this place even better. Extra blankets for the beds as it was a bit chilly when we were there. The bedroom TV was not working while we were there. The property manager sent someone to fix it, but we were never able to change the channel. The remotes are confusing and often times left us searching for a signal or input. Normally we are not in Maui to watch TV, but we were there during the 2nd Kona low and massive rains along with March Madness had us a bit more interested in the TV. The fan in the bedroom makes a loud clicking noise above low. Binoculars in the condo to see the whales. Rent this place, you won't be disappointed.

Hope for Lahaina

Dream location, property, stay! We definitely would love to stay again. Honestly with staying at a number of VRBOs over the years, this by far has been the best. My only critique is the use of fragrance on towels and linens as well as the air deodorizers; fabric softeners. I suffer from skin allergies to fragrances and cleansers. This condition is far more prevalent than most realize. Otherwise it was a delightful, relaxing time.

My wife and I spent a week in this well maintained beautiful condo. Everything was well organized. Lei-Ann was great in answering emails. Candice in their office arranged to have a beautiful floral arrangement in the condo on our arrival. Only comment I would have would be to include the Wi Fi info. We figured it out. Hope to be back next year! We miss have seen 100 whales from the deck!

Highly recommended

This property was perfect with it's hard to beat view and access to the best shores of Kapalua and Napili. The rental itself was clean and inviting, with a kitchen and laundry, comfortable bed, and a bright living space. There was only a slight problem with the refrigerator (a water dispenser that it leaked but wasn't needed) and renters in the unit below who smoked on their lanai on occasion. The unit also provided beach chairs and ice chests, with and umbrella, snorkeling gear, and pool floats left behind by previous renters.

As for the smokers, we are so sorry that you had to deal with that as there is no smoking there. Had we known we would have advised the property AOAO manager to have them take care of the issue. stayed in the villas many times. this unit was a first. it was OK but starting to look dated. the shower was annoying with water getting out onto the main bathroom floor. the toilet needs to be be updated as it was pretty small to sit on. the bathroom overall was alwaysbjimodn the kitchen was nice but small. watch out for the garbage disposal swith as it's right next to the light swith. ays humid and the fan was overwhelmed to keep it dry. always

The views!!!

We had a really great stay at Lahaina. I have some serious neck/back issues, which made sleeping difficult. Mid-week a simple call produced 2 softer pillows and in a flash and things were much improved. You simply cannot beat the views from this property and the community itself is just amazing. Fastidiously maintained with beauty everywhere you look. Right off the trails. Several pools at our fingertips and a short drive to shopping and restaurants. Other than desperately needing new blinds in every room, I can find nothing to dissuade me from staying again in the future. Mahalo!

Loved the view!

This condo is lovely, with an amazing view. The condo however has pest issues which have been reported to management. We would love to return, however would like to know that this has been taken care off. There were ant traps everywhere and still ants abound, as well as roaches. We know with the weather and turn over of the properties it is a challenge but it should be a top priority. Otherwise this condo has everything you need for a week weekend or month away. Location is amazing, well stocked and has A/C! Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful View, Not Cleaned Well

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the condo when we checked in. There were crumbs on the floor, food in the kitchen sink, dust balls in all of the blinds and the clothes dryer did not work properly. Management did refund our cleaning fee. We love the property but will select another condo on future visits.

Spring Break amidst emerging COVID lockdown...

Overall, was very pleased with the property. Just a couple of things to note to the property owner, the sliding door to the lanai kept going off the track and made it hard to use properly so probably needs to be fixed. Also, there were several shades that were either missing or not functioning properly. But these were just minor items and didn't impact our overall positive experience with the property.
