Magnificent as Always! This was our 5th consecutive year with a January stay in this unit in the Kapalua Bay Villas. We are very thankful for the host, hostess and family for their warm welcome and attentive service. Clean, comfortable and spectacular location! We missed attending the PGA Tour Sentry Golf tournament after its cancelation in ‘26. Hoping for the event to return…but still so much to do by the beach, pools, bbq area, restaurants and beauty across Maui.

Just returned from spending the holidays on Maui in Kapalua. The second half of the trip we thoroughly enjoyed at this condo. The communication and check in was easy. The space was bright and clean with every amenity you could think of. We enjoyed early mornings on the patio watching the waves, whales, and rainbows. And the remainder of the day on Oneloa beach or snorkeling in Kapalua Bay. I can’t recommend this property enough as a wonderful change of pace from a busier resort stay. We hope to return again soon!

Fantastic location & beautiful villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the villa. Particularly appreciated how clean everything was, the luxurious towels, comfortable bed, and extremely well equipped kitchen since we enjoy barbecuing and eating in much of the time. Would definitely return.

Another terrific stay at Kapalua, and very nice returning to this unit in the Bay Villas. Kind and welcoming host! Clean, convenient and beautiful location. Beach, playing golf, PGA Tour’s The Sentry, and evenings grilling poolside among the highlights.

Terrific experience. Courteous host. Picturesque and clean accommodations. Highly recommend Kapalua Bay Villas, and this unit in particular, for proximity to beaches, golf, pools...and nice community bbq area as a plus.

Very clean which is very important to us. View was spectacular. Accommodations were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Will stay here again since we come to Kapalua twice a year.

Happiness in Maui

Location is absolutely terrific, with waves, whales, walks and birds part of our daily routine. The unit is peaceful and quiet, and has everything you need. The couch sofa-bed needs replacing, and the living room furniture is showing it's age, but that's minor compared to all the positives.

Wonderful Villa

One bedroom villa was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The ocean view was stunning and we enjoyed it from the patio every day. We could also see the pool from our unit which was not crowded at all. Short walk to the wonderful beach, and we also walked down the trail/boardwalk to the Ritz Carlton which was lovely. Owner was very knowledgeable and easy to work with!

Awesome View!

This property is spectacular! It is clean, modern, roomy, tastefully decorated and has an incomparable view. The pool is right there and the beach is just a short walk down the grounds. This side of the island is very quiet and we enjoyed the beautiful beach with just a few other beach goers. The property management company was excellent and we had gorgeous weather. We would love to come back to this luxurious, well equipped property.

Whale soup

This property is beautiful. The villa is lovely and the view even better. We were able to sit on the patio and watch the whales perform their acrobatics in the ocean. We had a .couple issues and they were addressed immediately and efficiently. I plan to return as soon as I can!

New Years & The Sentry Golf

Fabulous location. Clean and comfortable. Very convenient for golf at Kapalua Bay Course and attending PGA Tour's The Sentry at Kapalua Plantation Course. Enjoyable morning walks around Kapalua resort, exercise classes at Montage and Ritz, beach afternoons, and winding down our evenings with poolside BBQs. Whenever we have the good fortune of returning to Maui, we always start by checking availability of this villa.

Beautiful Kapalua stay!

We have stayed in several Maui properties over the years but this was by far my favorite. The location is perfect and the view of the ocean from the lanai is pristine. We were able to walk almost anywhere in the area (Kapalua beach, Napili beach, the Ritz Carlton for drinks and dinner, Merriman’s, D.T. Fleming beach, etc). The condo itself has everything you might need, (including the requisite Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella) with a comfortable bed and nice linens. Would love to go back!! Thanks Rick for everything.

The view

This condo was in a great and convenient location in the Kapalua Bay Villas. Access to the pool was 100ft, path down to the beach a few feet further. All was as advertised in the description and everything was in great shape in the unit.

Maui paradise

Absolutely beautiful place with the most amazing ocean front views! Decorated so perfectly as well, with an awesome kitchen and bathroom, very spacious and comfortable. Just a 5 minute walk to the most awesome beach, with a lovely lanai off the living room watching the sunset every night. The grounds to the building are gorgeous, lined with Hawaiian flowers, with the most perfect running and walking paths along the ocean. This place is also in a great location in Maui, less crowded. Absolutely the most perfect vacation home away from home! Can’t wait to go back!

Terrific unit. Stunning views with walk-out access to pool, bbq area and coastal trail to the beach. Rick was a very courteous host, along with on-site service to ensure cleanliness and smooth check-in upon arrival. We enjoyed the PGA Tour's Sentry Tournament of Champions during the visit; along with playing the Kapalua Bay and Plantation Courses. Big fans of Kapalua, and will certainly consider this unit whenever we have the good fortune to return.

Great Place and Location But Too Loud

We've stayed in the Kapalua Bay Villas on several occasions but this was our first time in this unit. The location can't be beat and the place was very clean. The only problem we had with this place is that you can hear the upstairs neighbor's every footstep. We had a group of younger people staying above us for the first part of the trip and they were up until all hours of the night walking back and forth. We could not sleep until they went to bed. Had to call security several times to ge them to quiet down. The second half of our trip an older couple moved in above us and we were hoping it would be quieter but to no avail. Again we were kept awake by footsteps booming through our bedroom at night. This was a great place but the noise really put a damper on our vacation.

5 star slice of paradise with all the amenities & more!

When we first arrived we were absolutely blown away by the gorgeous views all the way across the back of the unit. It was stunning & we were elated! The unit was so spacious, tastefully decorated & had a/c too! It had everything & more than we could ever need! The unit was supplied with all the things needed for the beach... chairs, mats, umbrella, towels! Inside the unit we had the normal supplies PLUS a blender, hot water kettle & for this tea drinker this was wonderful! The bed & pillows were so comfortable. It was whale watching season & boy were they ever active. We sat on the patio with the monocular (that was also provided) & watched the whales breach & the dolphins play. It was such an awesome trip! Rick was very responsive & awesome! We are already planning our trip back to stay at this gorgeous unit. It is on the ground floor & we heard the folks above us at times but it wasn't terrible at all. Thank you Rick for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

This is heaven!

I told my husband that, if heaven is like this, I won't complain! This is the nicest accommodation we've had anywhere--hotel or condo--and we've stayed in some beautiful places! Immaculately clean, bright, well-appointed, spacious, quiet, and of course there's that stunning view of the ocean. The entire complex is beautifully maintained and a pleasure to wander around. Overall, this is a sanctuary that fills one with peace. Even on days when it was too rainy or windy to spend much time outside, we enjoyed watching the waves from indoors. The photos are accurate and, in fact, do not do the unit justice--it's even more beautiful. The owner and property manager are a pleasure to work with. The location on the Kapalua Coastal Trail is wonderful (it's why we chose this unit). We walked along the trail to breakfast at the Seahouse Restaurant and lunch at the Ritz Carlton's Burger Shack. What a perfect way to start the day! We did not do any cooking--we just heated leftovers--so cannot comment on how well stocked the kitchen is. Two caveats: There are not a lot of restaurants within a short drive or walk. When we come back here, we'll pack some staples and plan on preparing some simple meals in the unit. And there's a fairly long flight of steps from the driveway down to the unit. Some people might have trouble getting heavy luggage up and down the steps. I solved the problem by removing a few heavy items before taking my luggage up the steps, then repacking them.

Due to a tropical storm, we lost power for a day and had some mechical issues that occurred. The onsite management company and the hosts were very responsive, which allowed us to fully enjoy the rest of our stay. The whales were with us every day, which only enhanced the spectacular view. Another wonderful February--we'll be back next year!

We have stayed at 5-star hotels, and this is THE nicest place we've ever stayed at. It is immaculately clean and very spacious for a one-bedroom condo. The kitchen is very nicely equipped--again, immaculate--and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The views are amazing. We spent hours on the lanai and spotted some whales! But the best part is how quiet and peaceful this place is. If you need to decompress, this is the perfect place to do so.

Fabulous location

We were happily surprised the condo was much more spacious than the photos indicated. Access to the trail along the coastline and an easy walk or drive to Napili Bay for swimming and relaxing. Fantastic ocean views and beautiful property overall. We will definitely be back.
