I’ve stayed in many rentals in my years of travel. This is my first negative review. The couch was so disgusting. It’s stained, old, oily and damp, I put a towel on it to sit on it. Something I’ve never done before. Everything in the kitchen but the coffee maker was like stepping in to a 1980’s Time Machine. The curtains in the living room and upstairs master bathroom are also decades old. They’re ripped and stained. I kindly sent a message to Vacasa. Every response was, “We are so sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues, our goal to to perfect customer service.” Then nothing. No help. No communication. I reach out again, same response. I have found that Vacasa is horrible to communicate with. Period. It might be helpful to include in the listing that there are exactly 40 steps to get to the front door. It’s also extremely frustrating to have to pay for daily parking when there are no parking fees!! I spoke to 2 owners. It’s just a way for vacasa to make more money off guests. When walking to whalers village, it seems so close, yet so far due to having to walk around the golf course. At night, you can walk through, otherwise, it takes a hot minute. Suffice to say, I’d never stay there again.
