Wonderful stay

We had a lovely stay. The flat was everything we needed. The location is very near the buses that we used regularly to get to where we wanted to go. I would highly recommend this flat.

Peaceful neighborhood not yet gentrified in Bermondsey, London

While there were certain inconveniences relating to my needs, one couldn't ask for any more from a host. Kay was more than accommodating. The WiFi was excellent. Plenty of outlets and comfortable desk chair. Plenty of workspace in the kitchen. Large refrigerator. Great neighborhood if you like the feel of living in a city not just being a tourist. Several very good ethnic restaurants in the neighborhood. Quiet. Peaceful. Homey.

Mediocre

No table or chairs to sit at like photo showed. Was told last guest broke them. Sofa was awful. Mattress was filthy. Info said there was private garden. Ha. It was uneven cobblestones with weeds. No instructions for any appliances.

Needs tweaking

Upon arrival, things that need noting Front porch area strewn with cigarette butts and no upkeep.. Could use a couple of porch chairs and a table. Unit is generally well kept, but had no facecloths, or dishclothes. Coffe pot hadn’t been washed in a month. Couch in living room should be thrown out. The television was a major problem.. as landlord was absent, tv couldn’t be fixed.. u can’t advertise tv if it doesn’t have live reception. Unit is in a perfect spot for tourist stuff, and a wonderful area for history.

Most uncomfortable stay

We were very uncomfortable staying in this VRBO and cut our trip short. The bed, couch and linens definitely needed upgrading. The bath tub/shower is high and requires one to swing over into it. It's slippery and without a mat or bars. The place was clean. We enjoyed being able to cook several meals and wash clothes in the flat. I've notified the owner of our thoughts concerning this stay.

Great location and quiet apartment

We stayed at the property during a visit with our son who attends university in London. The location was convenient to bus lines and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, a very nice respite from the bustle of other parts of London. The apartment had all the amenities one could need and we would stay here again.

Great location, clean spacious facility

Cons: ANYTIME, FOR ANY REASON, I turn the hot water knob and there is no hotwater coming that's a dizaster and it costs one star. Owner MUST ENSURE UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES THAT SWITCH IS not OFF. MEANS MUST BE ON ALL THE TIME. BECAUSE IN NORTH AMERICA WHEN WE TURN THE LEFT KNOB WE GET HOT WATER, OTHERWISE IT'S 911-999 AND WE BOOK AN HOTEL TO SPEND THE NIGHT TILL IT'S GET FIXED. HOT WATER IS NOT SUBJECT TO ON AND OFF...IT SHOULD BE THERE ALL THE TIME. NOT SURE HOW TO BE MORE CLEAR. Automated initial email contains misleading WIFI info...later email has another proper log in info. Sofa not that great. Pros Great location. Walking distance to bus stations, supermarkets, Cafe and bunch of restaurants and landmarks. Good water pressure, clean, comfortable bed. NETFLIX and WIFI are great. Funky boutique movie theater nearby called Kino, New James Bond movie. Nice cooperative owner to be honest responds fast. Spacious Please, kitchen towel or paper towels, umbrella..I left one. Binder with all relevant info and local advice.

Great apartment.

The apartment was bigger than we expected. Plenty of room for the two of us. The unit was clean and having a clothes washer was a plus. Being in the Bermondsey area, this location makes it easily accessible to many sites.

Great location once we got a feel for area

Some taxis were unable to locate but once we got out and about many things including coffee shops tower bridge and restaurants where within a 15 minute walking time

The Wi-Fi was very good. The Owner communicated with us in a very efficient manner when we had a question or two. It's in a great location to get all around London. I highly recommend this apartment.

Located in a very quiet Cul de sac of London Zone 1, this beautiful cosy apartment is sandwich between the Shard Thames and South Bank, the walk from the apartment towards London Bridge or Tower Bridge is extremely beautiful and serene especially at night, with restaurants on Bermondsey street to views of famous London landmarks such as the City Hall, the Tower of London, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Shangri La at the Shard , Borough market, London dungeon, Waterloo , London Eye and Tate Modern to list a few.
Newly refurbished apartment with large king size bed, a fold-able single bed and a very large sofa that can sleep extra guest.
There is also Large screens that has cables with free Netflix account.
