Listing was exactly as described. Amazing location and awesome beach access. Property was very pet friendly with both a fenced in deck and yard to allow your dogs area to play. Only thing is that the spiral stair case going to loft is very tight so you may want to plan to have your smallest guests stay up there,but overall a fantastic stay in a fantastic property!

We loved our stay on Folly Beach. This house was exactly as we thought it would be. The location was far enough away from the main strip in Folly to provide a peaceful environment and not a ton of crowds, but close enough to make it accessible. The home was so clean and had everything we needed. The host was kind and made herself available if we had issues or questions. We cannot wait to come back:)

The biggest draw for this property is the wonderful location & if you have a dog, the gates on the deck & fenced in backyard. It is situated steps from the beach with a beautiful view from the deck & living area. It’s within a 15 minute walk of downtown & the pier. One big caution (& this is clearly stated) - there is a VERY narrow spiral staircase to the loft bedroom where there is a king sized bed & half bath. I’m 71 & exercise every day & didn’t have any problems with it. It was a little tricky carrying the suitcase up but no big problem. My 2 grown daughters & I would definitely stay here again. A big bonus is being so close to Charleston-lots of great restaurants & shopping!

It was a perfect getaway spot for my husband and I and our sweet pup. It was super convenient to town and so incredible to have direct access to the beach! I loved the view from the back deck and there was enough room for the two of us. The kitchen was fully stocked and we also appreciated the beach chairs and towels! Also loved the outdoor shower to rinse off our feet and our dog. We loved the king size bed in the loft but our pup did not like going up the spiral staircase so instead we slept downstairs. I enjoyed our stay so much!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach front home in August 2026! It was perfect for my husband and me, and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Great deck where we could sit and watch the waves with a great view. The home was clean and pet-friendly and close to the center of Folly. Beach chairs and towels were plentiful and a nice addition so we did not have to bring our own. Alicia was very easy to communicate with and responded to any questions I had.

We enjoyed the location. You walk right out the back gate and are on the beach. It is within walking distance to the main strip and restaurants. This is a pet friendly property it showed the wear and tear of pets. Management was prompt to address questions and issues

This property served our "girls beach weekend" perfectly! From booking to check-out, all key house needs and details were met. Beach access was a breeze (literally/figuratively) and location to town was just right. I visit Folly every year, this is the one house I have all intentions of visiting again. And it's pet friendly! I'll be bringing my pup next time too. I think this sums it up...all weekend my friends and I kept saying, "this place is perfect, it's all you need here!" Coastal Charm charmed us all!

The owner was great to work with and the property was clean and right on the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Chastain's Front Beach Cottages has been on Folly Beach since the 1940's. Lunnette Kinard is affectionately known as "Miss Folly Beach" and was the official beauty pageant winner as well as runner up in the state. She is retired but having a great time "supervising". Alicia is now managing the properties.

Lunnette built this home on the front beach in 1980. It is a darling front beach home with master bedroom loft. It has a great view of the pier and is a six block walk to center street. You are close enough to walk but don't have all the traffic of center street area.
