Everything we expected for a Tree House

We were met by the host who showed us around. The property was spectacular with a great view. If you’re looking for a place where you can be one with nature this is it. The only negative was the shower had very little water pressure and was just a stream coming out. And it was cold. However it was fine for us only staying one night.

Beautiful not-quite-finished home!

The house is as beautiful we we imagined! The windows look out over the jungle and it's absolutely stunning. The outdoor kitchen was a great way to spend our breakfast, and we were able to even enjoy the hammock on the deck outside of the bedroom as well. Our biggest complaints were the shower did not have a head attached to it was only a trickle of water coming out. It also didn't have hot water, which we found out later is pretty common in Costa Rica. Feels nice after hiking up the hill to get to the house, but not great in the morning. I think the house could use some find tuning, there are a couple spots with large gaps which really just waste air conditioning, and it would be nice to have hooks or something in the bathroom. You also definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to the house. We even had to use 4L to get back out. But the beds were glorious and I would still definitely recommend this home! The view alone is worth it!

Hosting has become a beautiful way for me to share the lifestyle I love—surfing early mornings, walking barefoot in the garden, listening to the birds. I enjoy welcoming people from all over the world and helping them experience the real Costa Rica: full of life, simplicity, and pura vida energy.

If you have any questions before or during your stay, I’ll be happy to help. I want you to feel comfortable, safe, and inspired while staying in our home.

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds: it’s peaceful, green, and full of wildlife, yet just minutes away from the beach, great surf, and everything Jacó has to offer.

Our property is located near Jacó’s last remaining wetlands, which makes it a truly special place. You can hear birds singing in the morning, feel the breeze through the bamboo, and sometimes even spot monkeys or toucans nearby.

We love that we can enjoy privacy and nature here, while still being just a short drive from restaurants, supermarkets, and local life. It’s the perfect spot for those who want to relax, connect with nature, and still enjoy a bit of adventure.
