Could be better

Slopeside Retreat was a great place, as advertised. We found the downside though. We had a large group of 16. That meant 10 people had to sleep upstairs. Since that is really a loft space, all the window exposure makes it impossible to sleep once the sun is up. And, the noise from downstairs is impossible to avoid. The house is very accommodating otherwise. The sun issue upstairs could be mitigated with some motorized blinds/shutters, solving the morning sleep issues.

Great space in a great location

We had a great time during our stay. The listing was accurate, and the property managers were very quick to reply. We really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. There is also a bar/restaurant across the street which is an added bonus. You can walk to the main resort area of Winter Park as well.

Such an amazing place and location was perfect for skiing!

Communication was great, they were very helpful with anything we needed. The house was stocked with things we needed for our stay and it is a beautiful place. Super easy to catch the bus or shuttle to winter park resort…the bus stop is literally right out the front door! Will be coming back here for sure!

Simply Amazing!

Stunning location, very clean and absolutely most friendliest hosts ever. Everytime I had a question, it was a simple text and quick response. I totally recommend this lodging company! My family and I had the best experience ever for our first visit to Winter Park, CO.

Huge house in the perfect location

Loved the house. The common space was very welcoming and the kitchen fully functional. Master bedroom suite was huge, and bunk loft super fun for kids to hang out with a pool table and bean bags. We loved our stay.. Only issue was the lack of garbage can space. Otherwise, wonderful!

Great location. Great communication with Winter Park Lodging.

Attention to communication started right after I placed the booking. I got phone calls and texts asking if I had any questions or needed anything. The VRBO was very comfortable and perfect for our large family. Even when there were very minor issues, the winter park lodging was so quick to attend it to the problem. They were fantastic!

Great place to stay

The condo was very clean and had ample towels and other linens. The beds were comfortable and were great for our whole family. The view was beautiful, especially off the back porch looking at the little stream.

Excellent property and location and service

Our group of 16 had a great time here on our annual summer trip. The property management is helpful but non intrusive. This home is right next to Winter Park in a beautiful location. Loved it.

Great Family Retreat

This was the first year that we stayed at Slopeside Retreat and it was great! We especially enjoyed the location near the resort, but secluded enough to escape to a quiter place. The upper loft with pool table and large TV provided a great area for the kids to get together and for all of us to just spend time together. Wonderful property, would definitely stay again.

Great Colorado mountain experience!

House was beautiful, clean and cozy. Our whole family slept comfortable and could enjoy a lil private time when needed. After sledding/snowmobiling all day the hot tub was a soothing treat to be able to soak in . We will be back next year for sure!

Thanksgiving at Slopeside

Thanksgiving 2020 could have been a covid disaster, but the team at Winter Park was able to set up Slopeside Retreat so our two families could fit in with enough space to enjoy company, play games, and watch movies and sports. The state of the art kitchen was the focal point for all 30 meals. The kids loved the bunk room with the pool table and large screen TV. It snowed 25 inches the day we arrived. If the ski hill was open it would have been perfect, but we had to drive to Keystone and A-Basin. We will definitely come back and visit their spaces in Steamboat. A 10 plus.

Great for Groups and Families!

Wow, oh, wow! Do not hesitate to book - this is perfect for large groups. My friends and I rented Slopeside Retreat Jan 2020 MLK Weekend, and we LOVED it. We usually travel to various ski destinations every year with 12+ people, and this townhouse was one of the best we've rented based on furnishings, size, and location to the ski resort. The large living room and kitchen made it very easy for us to gather in one place with enough seating for everyone. The hot tub on the patio was a plus; however, it probably only fits four people comfortably. Please note the third floor is an open loft space with three bunk beds (6 singles) and a large king-size bed. You will be able to hear all the noise from the downstairs living room. It wasn't an issue for our group since we were aware and it was more important for us to stay in one house. Just bring earplugs if you have any concerns. Lastly, everyone I interacted with at Winter Park Lodging was super helpful, friendly, and very responsive to any question and follow-ups. If we decide to come back to Winter Park, we will stay here again. MANAGER COMMENTS: Yay! We are all so pleased to read this. Many thanks for sharing your experience and we hope we can help you out next stay.

Great time in the off-season

We have stayed in many high-end temporary rental homes. Without a doubt this home was the CLEANEST we have ever encountered and, by far, had the best variety and amount of "starter supplies" of any of them. All those things that are aggravating when you have to remember to buy more at the grocery store: paper towels, toilet paper, olive oil, spices, pads, pens, pencils, kleenex, games, cards, etc. All those were present in copious quantities, as well as every imaginable pot / pan and kitchen utensil. Thanks to the owners / agents for making our stay so pleasant, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Excellent

Everything was great. Clean and just as described. The check in and out process was so easy. Communication from start to finish was perfect. The townhouse was beautiful and the location was incredible views. So close to winter park resort and town. If we come back we will stay here without a doubt. MANAGER COMMENTS: Fantastic!
