Great spot for a Military Retirement gathering

Perfect spot for a 50 person Military Retirement Party. The deck was in need of a little R&R but overall great place with great character. We will stay here again.

Great place to stay. Nice having your own boardwalk. Only bad thing I can say is that the kitchen is a bit small.

Great location

The location was awesome but it wasn’t very clean. The house definitely needs to be updated asap. The kitchen was not made for family cooking and dinners.

Beautiful views!

The house was as described on the website. We had a couple things go wrong. The Property managers called back fast but was unable to help with the refrigerator being out or with the ground level bathroom being locked. We would stay there again if those problems were fixed! We enjoyed the view and it had enough seating to accommodate all of us!

Living room furniture was comfy and we LOVED how the house had huge windows facing the ocean!If we could make a recommendation, it would be to put some side tables in all bedrooms for guests with CPAP machines, cell phones, etc. Side tables and/or a coffee table in the living room would be nice so guests can have a place to set drinks/cell phones. Other than that, the house was well equipped, clean, and quite comfortable for lounging and enjoying the beach views!

Only complaint would be step from walkway to beach was gone, for us older folks that was a pretty big step. Fact is Grandma fell twice walking down it. I am sure is will be replaced or fixed in the future. Besides that will be looking to stay there again in the next year. Great time for all!!!

Much older than pictured, not clean, musty, many broken appliances

The pictures are not up to date. This property has NOT been well maintained. It was dusty and musty. Only 1 out of 3 refrigerators worked. The awning was torn and broken. The kitchens and bathrooms are very small and old. The mattresses were terrible, old and all the beds made tons of noise. The location is awesome and there is a walkway straight to the beach. I will not stay here again

However, the home was in disrepair and was a true disappointment. The deck and the railings were a trip/fall hazard and extremely dangerous. There was no hot water at the kitchen sink, the roof and the windows were pouring water into the home and there were small flying bugs and ants everywhere. The house had a smell that made me think of mold. A lot of money for a piece of property that was basically falling apart. Luckly nothing collapsed.

The bedrooms were wonderful for a gathering of families--with queen plus kid beds in two, and bunks only in another, with the grandparent master high up and far away from all the middle-of-the-night small child festivities. The home was clean, well-maintained, clearly one-of-a-kind (in a good way), and well appointed. Ask for extra trash bags (one provided), and toilet paper (single roll per bathroom), since neither will suffice for more than a couple of days. Odd place to be minimalist. Not your place for teen-oriented night life, or adult oriented night life, but perfect for a quiet family get-away if you like each other and actually want to spend time together.

Location is GREAT! Home was CLEAN!

This home is extremely clean! When we showed up, it was immaculate. We wish the check in was at the actual property. After traveling with 4 young children we would like to arrive to our final destination. The home was in good condition. The pictures (like any other piece of real estate) always makes a home look more appealing than it really is. Property manager was fast to answer my one and only call about the grill not lighting and me not finding a lighter. The location could NOT have been any better! Its right on the beach. A short 5 second walk and you are in the ocean. We rate this property a solid 4. We travel a ton with our little ones and this place was perfect for us. Normal adjustments: -sheets need to be replaced on some of the beds, they have pretty bad pilling that feels like sand -a few nails/screws needs screwed in or hammered in on decking. 2 out of 7 of us got caught up on them. Thanks for the great stay! We enjoyed it!

Nice house, poor representation

The house was unique and beautiful. It does need a few simple repairs/updates, but that did not deter us from having a wonderful time. The outside deck was one of our biggest let downs. It is need of repairs/updates. Some of the nails holding the deck boards down are sticking up and rusted. This was a concern with our kids running around and playing. Our biggest let down was the beach access. At the end of the boardwalk there is about 6 foot of sand, then a 7-8 foot drop off to the beach. Accessing the beach was impossible for my elderly grandmother. We had to slide down the drop off, then climb back up with the help of each other. Anyone with physical limitations would not be able to do this. It is not the owners fault and I don’t see how it could be fixed due to the close proximity of the ocean and changing tides, but there was not accurate representation on the description or photos. I was very disappointed in this due to my grandmother not getting to enjoy one of her last visits to the beach. Overall, we had a great time. The management office was super friendly and check in was quick. The house was unique. We would have just liked an accurate representation of the beach access so that we could have made an informed decision before booking.

Muehlberger Thanksgiving on Navarre Beach

Very Nice Property. We have a few suggestions to make it better: There were 8 remotes with no instructions: suggest at least basic instructions for getting to a cable channel or renting a movie on NetFlix or Amazon. Fireplace didn't work There are several closets. Took us quite a while to find the broom. Suggest labeling the closet that has the broom/dustpan. Outside trashcans had not been emptied Grill was very dirty - grease in the bottom caught fire - not only spoiled some meat, but was a fire hazard. Add instructions for operating the oven and the dishwasher. Maybe we're just getting old, but knowing we had taken the right steps to keep the stove on was not intuitive. 2 wall-mounted clothes hangers to the right as you enter the bathroom in the master bedroom on the main floor are very loose. Ideally there should be a double bed in each bedroom. We had 4 couples and one of the jack-and-jill bedrooms had only bunk beds. Carpet in the upstairs master is stained. Please accept these suggestions in the spirit of improvement in which they're given. All of us have managed properties at some time in our lives, and we think these "TLC" items will make a really nice property even more attractive. I'd appreciate a response to these comments. Thanks again. We had a great time and would recommend the unit, and return sometime in the future. The Muehlberger Family
