Great stay!

We stayed at this charming house over a long weekend. There was plenty of rooms, two kitchens and you cannot beat the location. Would absolutely stay there again!

Bourbon Trail vacation

Great location in Louisville. Easy to get downtown, restaurants, nightlife, and highway access to do day trips. Beautiful home, lots of character. Great communication with owner!

Loved it!

We had a great time!! James was a fantastic host and great communicator! There is so much to and explore in Louisville and this property is great location, close to everything. We even did a day trip to Mammoth Cave National Park (1.5hrs)

Great host, great place, great location

So much to do in that neighborhood! There’s a friendly neighborhood bar right across the street from the house with great cocktails. And a few blocks down there’s so many restaurants and bars to choose from! James was super easy to communicate with and was very accessible if we ever needed anything. And the home was very clean, the second story living space made for a great hangout during our downtime. Would definitely stay here again next time we come to town.

First time trail blazers

Booked the Barrett House based on location and comments from previous guests. The accommodations were perfect for 3 couples or 6 friends as long as you don’t mind walking past one of the beds to get to the bathroom downstairs. Very Clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. It would be helpful to get a few new toasters and a few frying pans, but otherwise well equipped! I would highly recommend the Barrett House.

Ideal Location in Louisville

We had a lovely stay here for a few days. James is a communicative and enthusiastic host. The space is clean, spacious, and accommodates a flexible range of needs. As others mention, there is a bit of street noise, but it didn’t really affect us. Beds are comfortable and you’re a short walk from tons of attractions, restaurants, and bars. The architecture throughout the neighborhood is a museum in itself. Highly recommend this place!

Great house in Louisville!

We had a great stay and loved the house! James was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean and kitchen was stocked with snacks, coffee, and water bottles.We were a bit surprised to find that one of the bedrooms is just a queen bed in the down stairs common area (the house is split into 2 separate identical units). Luckily this wasn’t a big issue for our group, but the couple in that “bedroom” didn’t have much privacy. We enjoyed walking to the bars and restaurants nearby even in the cold weather!
