Get a good night's sleep on a memory foam mattress, and enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee before heading to work, to tour the Highlands and the city, or to have a fun board game and a movie day! Book your stay with us today for a wonderful experience!



The Space:

Book a stay in a 2 bed 1 bath house with all of the amenities needed for a fantastic experience. With memory foam king and queen mattresses in each bedroom, respectively, a sleeper sofa, full kitchen, small private backyard, and bathroom stocked with all of the essentials, you will have everything you need for a stay of any length. We provide a multitude of streaming services as well as spectrum tv and quality wifi. Grill up some steaks with our complementary charcoal grill in the backyard! Book your stay today!



Guest Access:

Guests will have private access to the entire home, and will be able to do so through a smart lock on the front door.



The Neighborhood:

Located on a quiet dead-end street, this house is surrounded by very friendly neighbors and only a couple minutes walk from Baxter avenue, which is voted the best street in all of Louisville!



Getting Around:

This house is walking distance to the shops and restaurants of the highlands! There is parking located on the street out front for free. If you'd like to explore other parts of the city, driving is best. There is plenty of uber/lyft drivers in the area, as well as the city bus line.



Other Things to Note:

There are a couple of steps up to the front door, but once inside the home is all on one level with no additional steps. The property sits on a quiet dead-end street on a corner lot, and while you may hear light daytime traffic, it’s generally calm and nothing disruptive offering a relaxed place to unwind while staying close to everything.

I like to give guests their space, but if you need anything at all, I’m always just a call or message away and happy to help.

The house was clean and very nice. The area was a little noisy but it wasn’t too bad because it’s in the crossways of main streets. The host responds back super fast and we had no issues. I would definitely rent this house again the next time I come back to visit

The house was super cute inside, the floors were a bit dirty. Only issue we had was the crackhead fight right outside where they were hurling jugs of water and bags of mulch at each other in the middle of the street and the poor old man next door trying to break it up. Good place for a quick stay.

I fell for the Original Highlands the first time I walked it. It’s one of those rare pockets where you get a genuine residential street shade trees, front porches, neighbors who wave and still have the city’s best bars and restaurants within an easy stroll. Baxter Avenue and Bardstown Road are right there with everything from long-standing Irish pubs to inventive cocktail bars and coffee roasters, and Cave Hill Cemetery’s beautiful grounds are just up the road for a quiet morning walk. What sold me is that you can spend a night out on Baxter and be home in minutes, but sleep on a street that stays peaceful. Downtown, NuLu, and the Yum! Center are all a short drive or rideshare away, so you’re central to everything without paying the price in noise.

This is a real house, not an apartment — no shared walls, no hallways, no elevators, no one above or below you. You get the whole place to yourself with a private fenced backyard, which is a genuine rarity this close to the Highlands, and a charcoal grill for cooking out. Both bedrooms have memory foam mattresses (king and queen) and the sleeper sofa gives you flexibility for an extra guest or two. Everything sits on one level once you’re inside, and the corner lot on a dead-end street means you get quiet without giving up walkability. Add fast Wi-Fi, Spectrum TV with streaming, a full kitchen, and free street parking right out front, and it works just as well for a work trip as it does for a weekend with friends.
