Great Quiet Getaway Spot

Great location with easy access to a public stairway that leads directly to the beach. The house has a great kitchen and a very nice indoor/outdoor feel with the foldable doors that lead from the living space to the patio.

Great house, fantastic location. Disappointed in non functional fireplace and very discouraged when property management was all but non responsive to items accidentally left behind. Our things were not returned.

The house is beautiful and we loved our time staying there. The heated pool and hottub were perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed.

We loved our stay! Great location, house is even better than pictured - well stocked, great appliances, comfortable and very clean. The sunsets were incredible, the walk to the beach was easy, the pool, yard and fire pit were all used daily. There was a small issue with check in because we didn't receive a code and the 24 hour line didn't pick up. The issue was resolved within an hour and there were no other issues with the home afterwards.

Beautiful property with incredible views of ocean

Home almost brand new and beautifully furnished. Loved being able to tally open the doors from the living room and dining room and have an unobstructed view of the ocean.

Gorgeous retreat with great views and amenities

Our family had a relaxing retreat at Edgewater Escape over the winter holidays. We had a couple of questions before our trip and the Casago team quickly took care of our requests. Everyone who helped us was very friendly and hospitable. The home and views are gorgeous - even better in person than in the photos. The home is cozy yet elegantly and thoughtfully appointed - probably the best vacation rental we've ever stayed in. The highlight was hanging out in the hot tub looking up at the stars. We are already talking about going back again next year!

This is an excellent house that delivers across the board. It has modern amd tasteful finishes, luxury details (for example, the accordion terrace doors are state of the art), a really useful, clean pool, a direct (albeit distant) sea view, a great kitchen, air conditioning upstairs, and good communication and yard staff.Small negatives include a bit of foot traffic past the house due to the adjacent steps, and a lack of fencing along the street that might lend additional privacy. Also, although the master is terrific, with a giant bathroom separate WC, and cavernous closet, the other two bedrooms are not large and the beds are both queens. Putting in twins in either or both rooms, or a bunk bed, would be a huge plus for families. I'm not sure how many groups of couples share a house like this, with a dominant master. It's best for families with kids.

Best Home Stay Ever! I can't say enough about how wonderful this home stay was! Cleanliness, Amenities, Comfort all Top Tier. This home was perfect for my family of 4 adults and could easily have fit more. Kitchen fully stocked with EVERY appliance and smallware you could ask for. Huge walk in closet in Primary bedroom. 4 full baths. Not to mention the private pool and hot tub! We spent a lot of time enjoying the space and didn't want to leave.The location is stellar - quiet neighborhood environment, but given that it's next to the Mesa Beach steps, there's lots of locals to interact with (if you want). Surfing, walking, and even spear fishing happening at this beach. The sand DOES disappear during high tide, so you have to watch the tide schedule to hit the sand. Tide pooling during high tides are fun. Within walking distance to the Douglas Family Preserve to walk along cliffs.You are about 10 mins or less to downtown State St or Funk Zone restaurants and shopping via car. 2 minutes from groceries, gas, etc...The best spot on the property, though, is on the deck overlooking the Pacific with two chairs and a fire pit. Awesome for smores at night, star gazing, cooling off in the sea breeze during the day or watching the surfers below. Couple tactical notes: 9 swim towels available, washer dryer was awesome. Outdoor shower to wash the sand off. Note, no beach chairs, umbrellas or toys available so bring your own.

Wonderful home in a beautiful location with exceptional management team

Our family of four had a perfect stay. The home is beautiful and well-equipped. The location is very convenient. Spencer was outstanding in addressing any and all of our questions. Super attentive! Absolutely looking forward to coming back soon!

Great Getaway

Exceptional House for an Exquisite Holiday.

Well-appointed house, great room and heated pool made this a perfect reprieve from lock-down at home in Los Gatos. Three suites, killer kitchen/family room opening onto the pool provided perfect enjoyment. Spencer and Jennie at Casago Management responded promptly, effectively and courteously. I would hire them in a flash. Great location on The Mesa steps and the observation deck, with a fire pit, on the edge of the cliff allowed us to enjoy the surfers below and the sunset. Only two minor recommendations in light of the broad form waiver and release of liability: install railings for entry to the pool and the hot tub. Other than that this wonderful home rates a 99/100 and a full and complete endorsement without qualification or reservation. Great house. Great location. Great management staff. We shall return.
