SHORELINE BLISS - Oceanfront - Private Peninsula - Pet Friendly - Bikes

Oceanfront home with sweeping views of the coast and the islands, walk to the beach and coffee shops. See whales and dolphins from almost every room and the hot tub. A private peninsula (a former WWII cannon site) provides privacy and whitewater views up and down the coast. Hear the waves at night. Other features include bikes, fire pit, EV charging, and game room. The backyard is entirely fenced - dogs welcome (sorry, no cats.)

Beach Access: The house in located on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Access to the beach is via a set of stairs just down the street. The house comes with stand-up paddle boards, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc.

Events: If you intend on hosting a small group or gathering, before booking or making a reservation, please send an inquiry with a description of your event.

NEW! Ojai Mountaintop Property: Shoreline Bliss guests now have exclusive access to a 58 acre property overlooking Ojai, the Topa Topa Mountains, the Channel Islands, and the 65,000 acre Canada Larga Ranch. Perfect for a day trip with picnics, biking, hiking or as an overnight with camping. A 75 minute scenic drive from Santa Barbara. Access instructions and Ojai area suggestions provided after check in.

I cannot say enough great things about this house and Alex was a superb host. The house is in perfect shape, it was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, everything in the house worked, even the bikes were in great shape and they didn’t need air in the tires like usual with rental properties. They provided beach toys and boards, the backyard was well maintained. The views from the backyard are breathtaking, we were sad to have to leave but we will most definitely return again and again. Alex was the perfect host, ready to answer any of our questions and very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend this rental for all the things I listed above and in addition to all that, the house feels like a home! Thank you Alex for being a great host :)

The host Alex was very helpful and had clear communication, directions and plenty of great local suggestions. The house was amazing- the views were spectacular and there were so many different sitting arrangements. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen appliances for someone that loves to cook and entertain. The house is just a block from a lovely park and not far to state street. The neighborhood was quiet. We would certainly stay again!

Everything about this home is perfection! This is the second time we have stayed here. The home is super clean, and the kitchen has everything you would need. The bedrooms are all great, and the beds are comfortable. The backyard and views are the icing on the cake. Can't wait to come back to Santa Barbara and stay here.

Idyllic location and property in Santa Barbara. I have stayed many times (hundreds) in SB since living there and attending UCSB back in the day, Bacara, Four Seasons, El Encanto, Fess Parker/Hilton Beachfront, others, BUT THIS IS THE PLACE! Everything about the property was lovely. The house is well designed for a group gathering. The furnishings and finishes on the house feel very welcoming. The kitchen is so well equipped. The beds comfy. Alex was great to work with, even being flexible when we needed to change dates due to a medical emergency. Highly recommend, beautiful stay.

Incredible home with breathtaking ocean views

My family stayed in this most warm and welcoming home with stunning unobstructed views of the ocean. The home provided so many fun activities for my grandkids ) ages 6 and 9) from a large backyard, to an incredible craft table, along with ping pong, a library with kids books, and a cozy place to watch TV together. We adults couldn't resist just taking in the serenity that the home provided, with a very well stocked kitchen, and again views overlooking the ocean. The host, Alex, was so prompt in answering any questions, thoughtful and kind, and provided a book with such complete suggestions of what to see and do, we realized a return visit is forthcoming. We will definitely return!

Amazing & relaxing stay!

Came down to SB for a family spring break trip this home did not disappoint it was amazing! The owner/host was super responsive & very welcoming! The house was first class problem is we never wanted to leave it was so peaceful watching the ocean from the backyard. Very kid friendly we will be back for sure!

Great for Family Girls Trip

This was a wonderful place to stay for our sisters and mom trip. The location was great for walking around and for getting around Santa Barbara and nearby locations. The house was beautiful and a perfect set-up for us all. We definitely hung around the house more than expected because it was so lovely.

Beautiful Property

We had 5 adults and 2 children staying at the property. We also entertained 6 additional adults for dinner one night and the property was a perfect size. The kitchen is well stocked and the furnishings more than adequate. The outside space, overlooking the ocean, made our stay magical. And, Alex is extremely responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Absolutely Wonderful

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. We celebrated a family birthday here with grandparents and a kiddo. Everybody loved it. Plenty of space to spread out, plenty of quiet spaces to work, the yard is fantastic and secure for kids and dogs. Very well equipped and clean. The setting and views are phenomenal .We used Alex’s recommendations for restaurants and activities; all were excellent. We hope to stay here again for another fantastic vacation.

Bop’s graduation celebration

everything was first class from the communication ahead of time, to the clearly laid out directions, to the extraordinary piece of property and to the immaculately maintained but lived in house and accommodations. Everything we needed was there and it will be a memorable week-end not only for the celebration of my daughters graduation but for the location and setting on the pacific ocean that this property afforded us! Awesome spot for a family get together.

Great views, great kitchen, well appointed bathrooms and kitchen utensils. The outdoor areas are really nice. Big lawn, garden, hot tub fire pit. Our family had a wonderful time together at this house. Santa Barbara is a great town, in particular, the Funk Zone and the zoo.

This house is in a great location, high on the cliff overlooking the Pacific but close to town. It is furnished and outfitted with everything you could possibly want. And the host is outstanding.

Exceptional home

This home is far and away the best rental I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location is perfect. The views are absolutely gorgeous. We saw dolphins and even whales in the distance. The house was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The handbook that the owners left us was full of great information-placed to eat, sites to see and all the things their home has to offer. We didn’t take advantage of it but they have paddle boards, bikes and much more. The hosts even left us snacks, coffee and a bottle of wine. We all enjoyed the game room which had a ping pong table, foosball and a card table. The library had the best books to choose from and there were blankets scattered around the house to stay cozy. The outdoor space was fantastic. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. All seating and eating areas were cleaned up for us, including the grill. Overall, the only downfall was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be back!

In fact, from the house, one can walk or bike along the coast to the wharf, marina, Funk Zone, the Douglas Preserve, Shoreline Park, and downtown's State Street - all without crossing a single street.
