We had an awesome three-day stay at this adorable apartment in the Barrio Alto neighbourhood in Lisbon. The apartment is on the top floor of a traditional house, so that’s up 6 flights of stairs – not for the faint of heart (or anyone with mobility issues). But it was perfect for us (F45/M50, mobile). The little patio offers a wonderful view of the city and the distant river, bridge and Cristo Rey. The apartment itself is furnished with everything you need, including the luxury of a towel warmer in the bathroom, and a washing machine. It’s quiet, and cozy. Two options for coffee maker, including a Nespresso espresso maker, as well as a drip coffee maker. The location was perfect – half a block from a park surrounded by cafes, bars, stores, and restaurants, walkable distance to Chiado, the waterfront, and Baixa. If walking is a little much, the apt is also close to public transportation.Paulo met us at the apartment to let us in and hand over the keys, and made check-in super smooth, as well as gave us super helpful recommendations (including suggesting his parent’s restaurant just up the street!). The other recommendations were spot-on, from incredible local restaurants to must-see spots we might have otherwise missed. We were in regular contact with Paulo and also the owner, Guillaume.We couldn’t recommend this place—or these hosts—more highly and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Obrigada!!!

Magnifique petit studio. Idéal pour 2 personnes. Très bien situé dans un quartier sécuritaire. Très propre avec tout ce que nous avions besoin. Terrasse chaleureuse avec belle vue sur la ville. La personne en charge est très accueillante et fourni beaucoup d'informations. Petit bémol, pas beaucoup de pression pour l'eau chaude dans la douche. Soyez avisé que le logement est situé au 5 eme étage. En gros, je recommande fortement.

Our stay was great. The apartment is well situated in Lisbon, easy walking distance to many attractions/restaurants in the city. The apartment comes well equipped with full kitchen. It was easy to communicate with both Guillaume and Paulo to set up our check-in. They also provided lots of recommendations for places to visit. As per previous reviews, there is sometimes a smell in bathroom but it was not overwhelming, easily went away, only happens a few times per day. Indeed, there are a bunch of stairs to reach the loft, but only a pain to bring up heavy luggage up once. Overall great stay, would re-book again.

Super schöne kleine Wohnung

Die Wohnung hatte alles was man brauchte und lag sehr zentral. Der Aufstieg mit den Koffer bis nach ganz oben war nicht ganz einfach, aber wir haben es geschafft 😉 Der Balkon war auch sehr schön und man konnte weit über die Stadt schauen und den Ausblick genießen.

Über den Dächern Lissabons

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem sehr schönen Apartment. Die Dachterrasse ist großartig, bei schönem Wetter kann man dort wunderbar entspannen und essen. Der Check-in war sehr gut organisiert, wir wurden sehr herzlich von Paul empfangen, der uns alles gezeigt, und uns zusätzlich mit guten Tipps versorgt hat. Was man vielleicht noch erwähnen sollte ist, dass man viel Flugverkehr hört, da die Flugzeuge sehr nah und teils direkt über das Haus fliegen. Ab Mitternacht ist es dann aber ruhig. Uns hat es daher nicht so gestört. Wir können diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen und würden diese auch jederzeit wieder mieten. Vielen Dank!

Perfect apartment in a great neighbourhood

The apartment was well-appointed, had fantastic views and was situated in a great neighbourhood. The stairs up to the fifth floor are steep but easily doable if you are an active person. Nearby are plenty of varied dining options and a choice of local supermarkets.

Appartement très fonctionnel et propre. Le balcon offre une très belle vue. Le propriétaire et son équipe sont réactifs, arrangeants et donnent de bons conseils. On conseille ce séjour !

Bien placé, proche du centre ville et des lignes de bus et métro. Le principal problème concerne des remontées d'odeur d'égout plus ou moins importantes dans la salle de bain....

Nice apartment in great location

Pros: Great location in central Lisbon, terrific neighbourhood (easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, and groceries), apartment has plenty of space for 2 people and their belongings, nicely appointed and comfortable. Cons: 5 story walk-up (not a big deal for us, but some may find it a bit of a slog), occasional sewer gas odor (be prepared to open windows and turn on fan each morning to clear the air in bathroom and kitchen). Summary: On balance, we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Très bon séjour chez Guilaume

Nous rentrons de Lisbonne, où nous avons passé une semaine .Nous avons été accueilli par Guillaume. L'appartement que nous avons occupé est parfait,il y a tout l'équipement nécessaire, la literie est d'excellente qualité et king size. visiter Lisbonne n'est pas de tout repos, avec ses montées et ses descentes et aussi ses pavés, mais c'est une très belle ville. Il faut absolument visiter Sintra en prenant le train à la gare de Rossio. Prendre es tickets d'entrée au musée d'archéologie , évite une queue sans fin, pour visiter le monastère de Belem. Je remercie encore Guillaume encore pour les relations que nous avons entretenues avant et pendant notre séjour.

Parfait !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Guillaume et Glenn, l'appartement est idéalement situé pour ceux qui veulent découvrir le centre de Lisbonne à pied. Appartement confortable, fonctionnel et très bien tenu. Les hôtes quand à eux sont bienveillants et vous accompagnent dans les bons conseils de l'arrivée jusqu'au départ : taxi, restos, courses, etc... Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et recommandons les yeux fermés.

Appartement bien. Cependant , il faut préciser qu il se trouve au 4ème étage sans ascenceur donc plutôt pour les plus jeunes. Il faut également savoir qu il n y a pas de place de stationnement et le parking de proximité est très onéreux ce qui alourdi la facture

Un bijou au coeur de Principe Real; sejour Super!

Nous avons passe un tres bon sejour a Lisbonne; ville que nous aimons beaucoup. Le voyage a ete decide au dernier minute et on a eu de la chance de retrouver cet bel appartement dispo. Tout etait parfait; idealement situe dans Principe Real, calme, joliment decore avec un lit tres comfortable et des tres belles vues tout autour. On voyait le Pont et le Cristo Rei depuis les fenetres. Guillaume est tres acceuillant et s'occupait de tout pour nous. Un super sejour!!!
