Texas style home in Dallas

The house was very comfortable with all of the furniture in good condition. The beds were comfortable with good supportive mattresses and the bathrooms were in good condition & good water pressure. The house felt private with large yard on a quiet street yet there was a 7-11 gas station/food store one block away to supply forgotten toiletries. The owner was kind enough to provide a dozen eggs for our arrival. The kitchen had enough for our visit. We were in town for a wedding and the house had a terrific iron & ironing board that was very needed& appreciated. We felt safe & very comfortable there! Thank you!

We enjoyed staying at this place on a quiet street, tucked back off a main road. The house was clean and looked like the listing upon arrival. They had some chips/dips and a few snacks out to make us feel welcomed.

Nice small town vibe.

Nice property, but the grill was in rough shape, rusted grates / not usable. Considering staying again next year, as the rest of the house was in good shape and represented accurately. The gas station that is across the street offers taco's and is open in the morning with breakfast taco's too. The Alaska themed coffee shop makes a good cup of coffee and the BBQ joint that's close had excellent food.

Our family had a great stay at the house. It has easy access to a lot of shopping, restaurants and yet felt small town and private.

Best Family Vacation

The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet. The backyard brought some wildlife (rabbits) and was a great spot for just hanging out. The rooms were spacious and clean. The décor was fun. My daughter enjoyed the books that were there. There were family games available as well. The Roku TV was a plus! Host supplied lots of staple foods and a few goodies as well. There was shampoo and body wash provided as well. The beds were very comfy. Easy to find the highway and the local BBQ place is a must. If I ever get to go back to Texas, this place will be the first I look for.

Great place to chill while in Orvilla

The house was in a great location, small quiet community. The owners really have a great setup and are were super responsive. They had to have some emergency HVAC repairs (air conditioning) on the house the day we checked in, but that stuff happens. It gave us some time to scout out some of the area while the repair was being wrapped up. Brett, the owner, was quick to reach out to see if we needed anything and apologize for any delays. But like I said this stuff happens. Our stay was awesome and the house was a hit. This was perfect for our family trip, everyone loved the house. Brett and Loreen had us stocked up on snacks and the house had all the amenities of home. 10 outta 10, would recommend !!!

Property was clean and cozy. Hosts went above and beyond. They left a lovely welcome note, a nice array of breakfast foods/ snacks and check out was a snap! We didn't need to communicate much but the couple of times we did reach out they were helpful and prompt. We have family nearby so I'm sure we'll be back!

Owner’s hospitality set this rental above the rest

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Ovilla rental. The owners were extremely generous throughout our entire stay. Their kindness and hospitality really set them apart from everyone else we have rented from before. The rental was very clean, well decorated and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking to travel to this area. We couldn’t have been more happy with our experience.

Family Thanksgiving get together.

Great location for our families to meet to enjoy Thanksgiving . The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our needs. Close enough to town to eat at a restaurant or go to the store and cook at the house. A few family members went to see a movie one night. Another night we had a fire in the fire pit out back and made Smores. Host are very nice a quick to respond. Highly recommend.

Super location!

Great home away from home! Very generous in supplying snacks, Netflix, and internet. Would highly recommend if in the area; charming town with winery, coffee shop and bakery, snow cone stand. Very hospitable host/hostess. Loved our stay. Thank you!

Excellent accommodation

This was my second stay at this property. There is many reason why I come back. We are greeted with milk, eggs and dry goods so we done have to rush to a grocery store. The house is very clean and the neighborhood is quiet. There is also a huge yard that I had the pleasure of playing backyard football and catch with my son. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here.

Very clean property. Was exactly as seen in pictures!

It was my brother's wedding weekend and the property owner took the extra steps to ensure our stay was excellent. They were very responsive to all of our questions and even checked in with me the day before to see if there was anything we need to make our stay exceptional. While we said no, they still went the extra mile. We arrived to a goodie tray of snacks, a fridge full of water, eggs, milk, and orange juice. There was body wash, shampoo, conditioner, extra toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other necessary items that we tend to forget when packing! We had fresh towels and bedsheets and plenty of room for the family. We would absolutely stay here again!!

I am from Pennsylvania originally and moved to Dallas about 40 years ago. I love hosting guests and entertaining others. I moved to Ovilla 20 years ago in search for a great town to raise my two sons and its safe small town feel is exactly what we needed.

I bought my dream home down the road from this house and always passed it, and wanted to buy it and had great plans to remodel it. God is good, and was able to buy this lovely home and be the general contractor completely remodeling the house.

I fell in love with this wonderful quite , safe, close knit community. I believe you will enjoy the spacious open floor plan and the large backyard , great for larger events.
