Great Home Away From Home!

We rented this property for 4 guys traveling on business. It was an easy trip to the project location from the house, and it was clean, spacious and pleasant. Everyone felt very comfortable in that they had their own space at the end of the day - which is key after working together all day. Plus Tony was a pleasure to work with! There was a need for numerous extensions to the original rental term plus additional housing required for another crew and Tony made it all happen in a seamless fashion. It was a bonus to have all of the travel arrangements go so smoothly.

The space was great and location.

We enjoyed the amount of space and central location to get places. There was only one kitchen towel so we had to buy towels. There was new detergent for dishwasher so had to buy that. Never did receive Hulu password to watch the tv. There was no propane or briquettes for the grill. The yard was very messy and able to be played in. There was an awful smell coming from the kitchen sink that we had to clean and buy febreze for.

Andrea Please next time you book a VRBO Home, you read All the Amenities and what is offered. We clearly state we Don't Provide or Maintain the Grill. You never told us that you needed any Dishwasher Pods, Towels or that the Garbage Disposal had a Smell as we would have come over and fixed these items for you.

Clean house - Undisclosed Surveillance Camera

The house was clean and had enough room for our family when we arrived. Communication with the property manager was difficult. The original welcome message after booking said in part, "If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out during office hours of 8am-8pm. You can call us at XXX-XXX-XXXX..." After a couple text messages over 2 days that were not responded to I called the number a few times. After calling a few times (no voicemail setup on their phone) I finally received a response text that said, "Please text only". Upon arrival at the house I found a surveillance camera over the front door. VRBO's policy says, "Location and coverage of devices must be disclosed on the property description page". I double checked the listing after arrival and confirmed that at least at the time of this review the existence of the camera is not show on the property listing per the policy.

Jeremy We hope future VRBO Hosts deny you from staying at their home, since you couldn't Follow the Simple Instructions that were sent to you when you booked our home. You might have another Family Member help you next time if it's too confusing or complicated for you. When you booked, we immediately messaged you with instructions to TEXT us your phone number and that we will send over the Door Code, Check-in Procedures by 4pm the DAY of Check-in. Because You couldn't follow those instructions and blew up our phone with calls/texts (starting at 8am) wanting the Door Code, hours before we send it, isn't a Communication on our part, its 100% on your end! Door Code was sent over at 345pm for your 4pm Check-in (We have Screenshots)! You also agreed in VRBO and DocuSigned our House Rules Prior to Check-in, so You knew that we had Outside & Garage Cameras onsite. We highly recommend you stay at the Broadmoor Hotel next time you're in town, and hopefully you can follow their Check-in procedures and have a better stay!

Needs updating/repairs

While the home was plenty large enough for our group and the location was ideal for our son’s graduation from USAFA, the home is in need of repair throughout. The screen door was laying on the ground and many windows do not have screens so we could not open windows. The shower in the main bedroom leaks all over the floor and was a significant safety concern as there was a huge puddle after each shower. We were advised to just use extra bath mats to soak it up and to make sure the shower door was closed (there is no door installed). This water leaks down through the ceiling into the basement laundry room. Most rooms were dimly lit missing 1-2 light bulbs in each fixture and the basement lights in the family room were constantly blinking. Many of the faucets are in poor repair with the kitchen faucet very difficult to turn off. The stove does not heat well and has poorly working knobs and the pans provided are damaged/peeling and unsafe to cook in. The grass was easily 10-12 inches tall and the yard/patio have not been cared for at all. All of these concerns were brought to the homeowner who replied rudely with sarcasm and never followed through on any of the corrections that he said he would make. He did however thank me for my “white glove” inspection of the property…so very kind of him. VRBO assisted us in securing this home when our previous reservation was cancelled on us last minute. I would recommend booking elsewhere if at all possible.

Lynn You were one of our worst guests ever! We go out of our way to accomodate you when your other VRBO house cancelled on you. Wish the your other hosts had warned us about you, so we wouldn't have accepted your last minute transfer reservation!! We did address all your concerns immediately, however most of them were made up. Stove and faucets all work fine. The 2 light bulbs were replaced. You didn't mention anything about Pots N Pans. The Master Shower has been used without any issues for years! We clearly explained about the Rain/cutting the grass as this is the 4th Rainiest season in Colorado Springs History! Hopefully future VRBO Hosts won't allow you to book their homes and if you do, that you will just enjoy the home instead of acting this way when people open up their home to accommodate your family!

Nice little stay

The property was clean and had most necessities. Great for groups or large families but the rules were a little off putting. Great location for getting around Colorado Springs.

Spacious and overall nice place. Would recommend some amenities be updated, especially for safety reasons such as the gas stove knobs not working correctly.

House is very well represented online and property manager is very helpful. House is very well located not far from attractions and shopping. Plenty of room for 10 adults and 5 children.

Tons of space!

Check in was super easy! Loved that we didn’t have to worry about remember lock code for door because they use app! Tons of space! Tony was always quick to respond! Only drawback was kitchen and dishes could have been cleaner but. Other then that property was great!

Our stay was good. The home was located conveniently. There was ample space for our large group. There was plenty of bedrooms and the extra large dining table was a bonus for game night and family dinners. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner and we had some difficulties with the app that controlled the locks on the door, but we managed nonetheless. The backyard was private and pleasant with a fire pit and plenty of space to hangout. Tony was available if we needed anything and we enjoyed our stay.

Family trip!

Perfect house for multiple families to stay together. Loved that there are 4 king beds, big room with the kitchen, dining and living space. Nice open space in the home, well equipped. Easy access to Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak Royal Gorge. Just a short trip up to Denver. Nice neighborhood, close to stores and many places to eat. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

This is the place to stay if you are looking at Colorado Springs with a big group. Very comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by anything you would like to do or see. Right in the middle of the attractions. Very helpful and fast to respond to questions or inquiries very helpful with trip ideas. We will book with you again.
