I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the bugs. Water (palmetto) bugs are native to our area and can be quite alarming when seeing one for the first time. We take great pride in maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hospitality at our establishment. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to address your concerns and ensure a more enjoyable experience during your next visit. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our property. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement. The lack of an elevator is a limitation we are aware of, and we strive to accommodate guests to the best of our abilities. The issue with the leaking roof in your bathroom is regrettable, and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused you. We aim to provide a seamless experience, and your comments will help us enhance our services. We're glad to hear that the staff was helpful in addressing the situation, even though the promised additional towels did not materialize as expected. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. We appreciate your honest review and regret that we were unable to accommodate your request for an extended stay. Our goal is to provide exceptional service to all our guests. However, when booking with a 3rd party, all requests have to go through the 3rd party. Unfortunately, the 3rd party did not contact us until after office hours and other guest booked it online after business hours. We will use this feedback to improve our communication and processes going forward with our third party reservations. - Carolina Retreats Management
