It is listed as Location, Location. Absolutely true! But add Beautiful Beautiful and Comfortable! This house has everything you could want for your stay.The design is excellent for two couples as well. This was our second visit years apart but we will always remember how much we enjoyed and felt at home there. It was hard to leave. If we can ever return to PT Reyes we will return to this home. And oh the view!

A beautiful place to spend a few days. So well maintained, with many added perks including an impressive vinyl collection. Very peaceful setting, amazingly undeveloped area, just a few minutes from Point Reyes Station.

Patti’s home is amazing! The deck and the view of the wetlands were a highlight, but we also appreciated the kitchen that was well stocked with cooking implements. The entire place is so well designed- lots of windows, easy access to the deck from the bedrooms as well as the main living place, and a main bathroom overlooking a private garden area. Its proximity to Point Reyes Station made it perfect for our trip! We would happily return.

Stunning all around. The back deck & view of the marsh, the modern kitchen, the comfy beds, the elegant living space, & the local restaurants. Excellent communication from our host, Patty. A very relaxing experience.

Patty was an incredible host, she was prompt with communication and so helpful and kind. Driving up from SoCal, what a peaceful place to land for a few days of R&R. The space was lovely, clean, and in such a beautiful location. I would happily and without any hesitation stay here again.

The view is stunning and really can’t be beat. The beds were comfortable and the Sonos system was a real treat. However, there is a lot of mold in this home. The main bathroom shower curtain was covered in mold, the washing machine has mold, and many of the windows did too. It just seems like the house isn’t being cared for, which is a shame.

I had already purchased a new shower curtain but can’t get into the house during back to back bookings and will be replaced soon. The house is a tight house which improves its comfort and capacity to maintain an even temperature. But it means condensation at windows is problem which we have to address regularly. We address the mold at the windows at reach but we have skylights that we can’t reach for as regular maintainence. Even when fully cleaned, mold staining will always be evident from 36 years which will deceive the attention we give to this. I take issue with the statement that this house isn’t being taken care of. It has refinished floor, new quartz kitchen counters, new wool rug in living room, original art, extensively stocked kitchen, new dining chairs, two solar batteries and solar roof, new heat pump to provide cooling, which was not necessary when the house was built 37 years go. These are not upgrades you will find in West Marin rentals at comparable rates.

Beautiful, well kept home - the interior was warm and inviting. Stunning views of the estuary from inside and the back deck. The neighborhood was lovely for evening or early morning strolls and the neighbors were friendly. Wonderful vinyl collection! Over all it was an amazing 3 days.

Fabulous deck overlooking the estuary, with eagles, birds, and occasional seal. Found a tiny frog in the master bath, which disappeared overnight. Well stocked kitchen made it easy to cook, plenty of games for entertainment, and the record collection sparked many conversations. We enjoyed the bakeries in town, ice cream at the general store, and excellent hikes at the national seashore as well as the local park just south of town. Check out point Reyes creamery just north, as well as Tony’s seafood. Perfect arrangement for two couples looking to relax. Only heads ups are that the hall bathroom is in need of upgrade so shower is less dingy and less difficult for less nimble folks to crawl into, and someone went crazy with a label gun. Would stay again.

Gorgeous location with a big deck. We spent hours outside looking over the water enjoying the birds and peaceful setting. Well appointed house with comfortable room. We would definitely return.

The deck and the view! It was incredible. Lots of bird and animal watching. Plus the records were so fun for a wonderful evening inside listening to music we don’t often hear. Patty was great…trying to make our stay the best.

The rental home had amazing views and great location. It was a good value and very clean. Great space and setup for adults sharing a home who want communal space but also their own privacy with bedrooms located on opposite sides of the living area. Very relaxing and tranquil can't wait to come back again!
