This is the second time we have had a stay at a location that is managed by a large property management company. It will be the last.
No clear directions, such has a map or actual street address. No phone number for the check in desk, consequently we had a lot of confusion in finding the location. Nearly two hours....
Secondly, under supply of towels and face cloths. When we asked for additional face cloths we were told that was not allowed. There was no laundry soap so we could wash the linens.
Also there were no kitchen towels or cloths. Only a old, funky sponge. No other tools to clean or scrub pots and pans. Only 1 packet of dishwasher soap !? And only one trash bag liner for the kitchen trash....we had to beg for additional bags? No paper towels ...literally no way to clean anything in kitchen. No napkins...just goofy!
Also, the owner may be unaware that the heater thermostat is difficult to set to a consistent temperature and the vent in the master bathroom makes a loud rattling noise....so we were unable to run the heat at night.
No resources book in the unit, with recommendations for places to shop, eat...etc... we owned two rentals in which we felt it was important to assist our guest who were not familiar with our area. And of course to have available paper goods, extra linens and basic cleaning supplies.
Would not stay here again for all these reasons. If anything in the listing would have INFORMED us of what we would need to bring, we would likely return...lesson learned twice now.
In the future we have decided we will not rent when a corporation oversees the rental property.
