The location was outstanding. The plants des herbs market was just steps away, shopping, restaurants, the medieval garden, etc--were also very close. With the buses only a 6 minute walk away, we could easily get to Avignon, Pont du Gard, and Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie. The host was very responsive. It was great to have air conditioning in the extreme heat wave. The shower was great--powerful--and having a washing machine and a dishwasher was very helpful. The spiral stone stair case leading up to the apartment was very difficult to climb with suitcases or groceries (we are a little older). Be sure to ask the host about what is provided in the way of amenities. Coming from another country, we were not prepared to bring so many necessities with us in our carry-on bags and had to do lots of shopping immediately--and then leave so much behind. :-(All in all it was a good stay--we loved walking around Uzes--smelling the lavender from L'Atelier de Manon, drinking the local wine, soaking up the medieval gardens--and returning back to a comfortable apartment.
