Location is great; beautiful view of the canal and close to favorite restaurants, grocery shopping, etc. Great neighborhood for walking and, having visited Cape Coral for several years, we had hoped to see Burrowing Owls and this location turned out to be the best; we were greeted every morning by several of them. Home is spacious. There were, however, a few negatives. The double front doors were not sturdy and promoted an unsafe feeling. Lanai furniture was uncomfortable and, as senior citizens, difficult to get up out of; there were only 2 sunbathing loungers so the four of us had to rotate. There were no grab bars in either bathroom and, again as seniors, this felt unsafe especially in the tub/shower combo. Also in that bathroom, the pull up lever to switch the flow of water from filling the tub to a shower did not work properly as water flowed from both at the same time making showering difficult. Instructions for garbage collection located in the 3-ring binder were confusing. On the first page, it stated that garbage pick-up was early Tuesday morning and we needed to put the garbage containers out on Monday evening, which we did. However, garbage was not picked up. We called Jim to report that. However, a few days later as we read more of the instructions, we found a later page, that said garbage pick up was early Monday morning and we needed to put the garbage out on Sunday night. Mystery solved but container was overflowing on our 2nd Sunday.
