The house overall was as described in the listing with regard to rooms and amenities. Where it fell short was in cleanliness of the outdoor deck and patio areas which had quite a buildup of dirt and are in desperate need of cleaning. The deck stairs were also somewhat slanted and could cause a slipping hazard. The house could also benefit from a pest control service as there were some large bugs and a centipede inside the house in the lower level bathroom. The view of the lake was nice but unfortunately the dock was pulled out of the water so could not be used for fishing. The neighboring houses still had their docks in the water so it was disappointing that was not the case for this house. The fire pit area was enjoyable but the hot tub was unfortunately only 72 degrees upon arrival so it could not be used until later in the evening. Our rate for this house was very expensive and while the interior of the house was as expected the condition of the deck and patio areas should not command the price point asked for this rental.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a great weekend at this house! The pictures for the home don’t do it justice. Super easy check-in and great amenities made this house a winner. The house also sits in a prime location: right on the water but only minutes away from stores/restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

Family fun

The house was amazing inside & outside. Everything we needed was there. The location is awesome. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. We definitely will rent the property again. Definitely deserves all stars. AWSOME AWSOME 😀😃

Excellent and relaxing stay

Beautiful home with plenty of room for all of us!Pros: Right on the lake with your own dock!Very nice, updated kitchen.Maintenance issue was handled IMMEDIATELY.Hot tub & fire pit were great for evening entertainment.We saw several bears!Close to everything!Cons: The outdoor hardscape could use weed control and bug control.The driveway is steep and awkward. If you have more than 3 cars, it will be tricky.Difficult cooling the upstairs without freezing everyone in the downstairs bedrooms.Overall a very good experience and we were happy with our stay!

Parking is a challenge

One thing I was dissappointed with, there were no chairs around the fire pit for roasting marshmellows. Though I requested them as soon as we arrived, we never recieved them. Kids were really looking forward to this, and it couldn't happen. The parking was a little difficult. Very steep hill to back down for 2 cars. One level parking space right on the road. In all, our the stay was phenominal. House is in a great location for going to Wisp. Beds were very confortable. Beautifully decorated, great layout. Kitchen was equipped well, beautiful view of the lake.

Great place but needs some updates

The location was good! The house looks a lot bigger in pictures, but it was okay for two families. The outdoor area was unkept, and very dirty. we called the office and they sent out someone to clean out the deck and patio outside. They had cob webs and dead bugs everywhere. The house can definitely use some upgrades, like nicer furniture, door mats etc. it wasn’t very easy on the eyes. We had to plan the showers as we ran out of hot water in no time. They were good about giving us plenty of towels. But the linens were just okay. We did enjoy the hot tub, fire pit etc. but I was a bit disappointed with the upkeep of the property.

Relaxing Family Getaway!

We loved our stay at Ski to Shore Chalet! Everything was perfect! Gorgeous view of the lake, close to restaurants and activities. The home was clean and very well maintained. We had two other families join us for the weekend and it was the perfect amount of space for everyone. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!
