Relaxing escape

Wonderful property with beautiful scenery! Privacy due to separate entrance and just remote enough to feel relaxing while not too far from central Bend and Tumalo. Excellent and generous host was the icing on the cake.

fantastic stay in Just Be Ranch

We spent the weekend in Just Be Ranch with two kids and it is just fantastic! The little details in this place make it very special for the kids - they loved the queen bunker beds, the farm animals and horses, the front yard play structures, the stargazing at night, and the yummy quiche/muffin cake breakfast. Jacke and Cathy are super friendly and considerate to make our stay like home. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing and relaxing

We stayed here with our three elementary school aged children. It was clean, comfortable, peaceful, and plenty of space for all of us. Great location convenient to Bend and other Central Oregon attractions. Jacke and Cathy were fantastic hosts. Kids loved the animals. We didn't want to leave!

Delightful stay, beautiful property!

Our family of 6 traveled through Oregon and this was our first stop. Communication with Jacke was easy and timely, the place was easy to find and picturesque. We traveled from here to three different beautiful waterfalls in the Sisters/Tumalo/Gresham triangle. The guest room was very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. The homemade breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed visiting with Jacke and getting a tour of the little ranch. Thanks for. great stay!

Very clean and well decorated second floor above rural home.

Tastefully decorates in a western theme. Very clean, good mattress, owner was pleasant and easy to work with. The upstairs has an exterior staircase access. The property has horses, dogs, chickens, and a rooster, so if you like rural life, it is a great place. Felt very secure. Close to Tumalo State Park. A nice breakfast of quiche and banana bread was provided the first morning. Not as private as some others I have stayed at, but nicely done.

Such a beautiful setting!

Jacke was a great host! We really enjoyed the delicious quiche and muffins on the first morning, and also the chance to feed the beautiful horses who are grazing just outside the bedroom window. There's also a play structure and basketball hoop, which was great to have for my energetic 8-year-old. Tumalo State park, where you can put in to tube down the Deschutes (or just wade around until you get tired, like we did) is only 10-15 minutes away. The kitchenette was adequate, with a Keurig, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, and dishes/silverware. The hosts are just downstairs and can help you out with any other supplies you need. We had a great stay!

Had an amazing stay

First time staying in a ranch and the family loved it. Cathy was very friendly and welcoming and our breakfast the first morning was amazing. The property is breathtaking and you can’t beat the location if you want to explore Bend and go to Craterlake. Highly recommend.

Relaxing location & great breakfast!

We had a very relaxing and comfortable time at Jacke's property. Homemade breakfast on the first morning was such a special touch -- it happened to be my husband's birthday and his favorite preparation of eggs, so it was really quite special to us. The rooms were comfortable and furnishings were high quality. The location is not far from Bend and the nearby town of Tumalo had some cute food/drink establishments that we enjoyed too. The host (Jacke) was very communicative and accommodating. We had a great stay!

Terrific get away with my family

Our experience was great. The communication with entry and property expectations were well communicated. The room was very clean and comfortable. My boys loved Juno the sweet husky. We enjoyed our stay there. We had a busy itinerary while there and it was no problem. Would definitely bring my family back there. Jacke and Cathy were terrific. I enjoyed meeting them both.

Perfection!

From the moment we arrived, our stay at Just Be Ranch was perfection! Within the hour of our arrival, we were contacted via text asking us what time we would like breakfast delivered. The following morning, we were served a quiche, scones and a bottle of orange juice, which was enough to cover our breakfasts for our entire stay. Delicious! We met our hosts, who were welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home. The apartment was well furnished and comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning given the 100+ temperatures our entire stay. We very much enjoyed interacting with the animals (Mario, Luigi and Chance) and found the entire experience delightful and very relaxing. We will definitely be back! Thank you Jacke and Cathy!

We had a phenomenal stay at Jacke's place. It was one of the best stays any of my group have ever had. We loved the animals and had plenty of space. The quiche and scones were just the icing on the perfect cake. Thanks Jacke!

Just Perfect!

My family and I instantly fell in love with this sweet place! It was perfect for the four of us. I loved that it was a quick 10 min from Bend and gave us that country feel. Jacke, the owner, is a wonderful person that made us feel right at home. My children enjoyed all the animals, my husband loved the Sauna, and her homemade breakfast was lovely. You can truly "just be" at this wonderful ranch!

Quiet country stay

Very pretty location and a very cozy little apartment. Nice and quiet and just what we were looking for an easy going girl's weekend. It has just about everything you need, although I would recommend bringing extra water for drinking unless you don't mind getting it out of the bathroom sink. My little girl loved the animals and the toy chest. Us ladies enjoyed the cozy living room and big screen TV. The complimentary breakfast wasn't exactly our taste, but was a very sweet gesture and was a nice little something before we went out for the day. Highly recommend.

Great home base with the farm vibe we were seeking

Just Be Ranch is snuggled into the country and near the tiny town of Tumalo. The hobby farm property and our accommodations were immaculate. Jacke was extremely gracious, helpful and took the time to share her story and introduce the animals to us. The first day breakfast to our doorstep was a real treat too. Be sure to check out the stars putting on a show at night and give Juno the resident doggo a good rub from us.

Dream Stay!

From the moment we arrived on Jacke’s property, we instantly felt like we were home! I don’t say this lightly...we travel for work and take the kids with us many places. But, this place, allowed us exactly: to “Just Be”. The beds were oober comfy, the games she provided, so fun! Jacke took time out to give us a tour of her amazing animal family, helping us to connect and see how healing these creatures are. Her homemade quiche and scones were such a lovely touch of who she is and what she successfully achieves, a precious hostess! The sauna was an insane gift to my hubby and I. We felt so rejuvenated, that we didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to return and indulge in the sweet and simple life that “Just Be” ranch is! ThankYou Jacke, you are an amazing soul!

Writing my story and will share!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This property is proof that when you create a Vision Board filled with pictures and words of your dreams they do come true! This city called Bend, located in the heart of Oregon, resided in the background of my mind for a few years. I knew absolutely nothing of this place other than a few of my mountain biking acquaintances had moved there. As far as I knew, the entire state of Oregon was known for its rain. What I didn't realize was all that exists east of the Cascade Mountain range wasn't prone to these presumed wet conditions.

This adventure capital I'm proud to call home and most importantly to share it with weary travelers and those that seek adventure. I'm happy to share the deeper parts of my story and will eventually have it in print for all to read.

This Just Be Ranch awaits for you to take some time to be mindful and be giggly as you watch the goats play and experience the most amazing sunsets over the Cascade Mountain Range.
