この美しい2ベッドルームのコテージは、家具付きで高水準の装飾が施されています。 それはランバン川のLanvallay側にディナン港の活気のあるレストランへの古代の石橋の上を歩いて2分に位置しています。

家は3階建てで、1階にはオープンプランのリビング、ダイニングエリア、設備の整ったキッチンがあります。 リビング/ダイニングエリアにはソファー2台とコーヒーテーブル（テレビ、Xbox 360、ダイニングルームテーブル、最大6名）が備わります。 キッチンにはセラミックホブ、エクストラクターとファンオーブン、Tassimoコーヒーマシン、電気ポット、トースターと冷蔵庫があります。 キッチンは、食器洗い機、洗濯機、階下のトイレ、洗面台、シャワー付きのユーティリティエリアにつながっています。

リビングエリアの裏側にある扉は、螺旋階段を通ってアクセス可能な盛り上がったテラスにつながり、RanceとDinan川を見渡せます。 屋外ダイニング用のテーブルと椅子が備わります。

Great location handy for riverside walks, local bakery and restaurants. Steep wake up to Dinan but we knew about that and fine for us and very characterful. Property as described, we didn’t really use the kitchen other than coffees and some cereal. Terrace was great for morning pastries from the bakery. Parking under viaduct was essential most nights due to other cars outside when we returned late, which was fine.

Perfect vacation week

We enjoyed staying in Cath and John's cottage so much! They are wonderful hosts who have made the home so comfortable for guests, and they were also very helpful with recommendations about the area. The kitchen and bathrooms are very well equipped, the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable, and the whole house has a charming feel to it. There is a lovely balcony reached by a spiral staircase where you can sit and look out over a walled garden and the river. The location is spectacular, right in the center of the Port of Dinan, restaurants, etc. and a great base to explore other parts of Brittany. Parking was very convenient as well. Highest recommendation!

We absolutely loved it. Perfect location in a perfect town. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The house is really well equipped with everything you need during your stay. The beds are really comfortable. Dinan really is a wonderful place. We even grew to love the hill!

Amazing Stay in the Port of Dinan

Our family of three stayed from 7-14 August 2024 and had a wonderful time. The rental was well appointed, clean and centrally located. Within 200 meters are several restaurants, along with bike and kayak rental businesses. Dinan is a short, but steep walk away. Cath and John were excellent hosts, who met us when we arrived and were exceptionally responsive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this rentaj for anyone wating to stay in the Dinan area.

Its a home from home. We dont have to bring kitchen equipment because it is very well equipped. Showers are wonderful, powerful. The freezer is very convenient. I love this place.

Great location

Great location next to the river with bars and restaurants a very short walk over the bridge. Also located yards from the free bus which avoids the steep walk up the hill to Dinan although you will miss the spectacular buildings and shops on the way. The house is well equipped and has one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The heating is generously set should you encounter cooler days. The TV has access to UK channels and the usual Netflix, YouTube etc.The outsi

Lanvally - a hidden gem

Very hard to find because of lack of signage and a recent one-way system. But very worth the effort. Beautiful position overlooking the river/port/harbour. We took full advantage of the property’s balcony. Loved it.

Sweet house in a beautiful town

Thanks Cath for such a wonderful home to stay in. The lovely sunny bedroom was a pleasure to wake up in. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the terrace overlooking the opposite bank of the river. We loved being so close to the bustling marina and within easy distance to the town via Rue Peitit Four. We also found a back street to access the viaduct and walked into town that way a couple of times- what a great view over the port from the viaduct and castle ramparts! We enjoyed walks to beautiful Lehon and also Taden via the Rance path. We also had a couple of lovely meals at La Laumachelle across the river. The provisions you left for us including a bottle of wine were a lovely touch. Thanks again for everything including very clear directions to the property. Highly recommended.

Wir, eine fünfköpfige Familie, haben hier wunderschöne 10 Urlaubstage verbracht. Diese Unterkunft einige tolle Vorteile: Die Lage - ein Traum - im Hafen von Lanvallay sind Restaurants, der Becker und die Altstadt von Dinan fußläufig in kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Abends auf der Terrasse sitzend, das Treiben im Hafen beobachten. Oder Kajak leihen, Elektroboot fahren... Zu den Stränden, nach St.Malo oder zum Mt. St. Michel mit dem Auto fahren und, und, und. Wir sind hier nicht wirklich fertig geworden und kommen ziemlich sicher wieder. Denn auch die Unterkunft ist toll. Ein historisches Haus , in dem Komfortabe Platz für uns war. Außerdem ist alles da, was man braucht und noch mehr. Nicht zu unterschätzen ein kosteninlusiver Parkplatz in 3 Gehminuten Entfernung. Danke an die Vermieter - die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich und nett und alles ganz unkompliziert. Vollste Empfehlung in jeglicher Hinsicht - für uns hätte es nicht besser sein können.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Wohnung findet man leicht alles, was man braucht. Auf der Terrasse kann man wunderbar entspannen mit Blick auf den Fluß und das Tal. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit.

Authentisches Ferienhaus direkt am Hafen

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Dinan, direkt am Hafen der mittelalterlichen Stadt, in Laufnähe zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Cafes. Die Ausstattung war gut, es war alles da, was man für den Urlaub so braucht. Ein Survival-Kit wie Kaffee, Zucker, Essig/Öl für die ersten Tage wurde von den Vermietern bereit gestellt, wertvolle Tips für Ausflüge und Restaurants haben wir auch bekommen. Die Dachterasse lädt bei gutem Wetter zum Verweilen ein. Von Dinan aus ist man schnell an der Küste, aber auch im Landesinneren, ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten aller Art. Toll fanden wir auch den hauseigenen Parkplatz.

Mittendrin statt nur dabei...

Wir haben als Familie mit zwei Kindern (8 und 10) zwei Wochen (24.08 - 07.09.2022) in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht und sehr genossen. Alles, was man für einen entspannten und schönen Urlaub braucht ist vorhanden bzw. mit kurzen Wegen zu erreichen (z.B. zur Bäckerei über die alte Steinbrücke rüber und schon ist man bei frischen Croissants). Ausstattung passt, die Lage ist super, der Ort ein Traum, die Umgebung toll für Ausflüge (Saint-Malo, Rennes, Mont St-Michel, die bretonische Küste,... alles schnell und bequem als Tagesausflüge ohne frühes Aufstehen machbar). Unser Tipp: Baden gehen an einem der Strände in Saint-Lunaire, vor allem am Grande Plage de St. Lunaire... wir waren begeistert. Wer keinen Schnick-schnack braucht, dem können wir dieses Ferienhaus mit einem wirklich guten Gewissen empfehlen. Wir haben nichts bereut, ganz im Gegenteil. Nicht umsonst hat dieses Objekt so viele gute Bewertungen.

Beautiful Lanvallay

Lanvallay is wonderful, and this property is on a quiet street right in the heart of it. If you want the sort of trip where you can roll out of the house and saunter down to the riverside bars or on long walks to nearby towns or countryside, and wander up the gentle hill into the fantastic town of Dinan, this place is for you.

Très bon emplacement

Très cosy et très bien équipé. Bonne literie. Bien situé par rapport au port de Dinan et ses restaurants et disposant d'un parking privé très appréciable l’Été. Toutes sortes d'activités possibles à proximité de la rance (kayak, bateau, vélos, randonnée). En point d'amélioration, un peu plus d'ustensiles de cuisine serait un plus (poêle, égouttoir).

Fantastic property in a great location right on the river.

House had everything we wanted, and was one of the best self catering places we have stayed in. The owners communication was great and they waited several hours to meet us after our ferry was delayed. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place to others.

Lovely location

Cath and John's gite is in a lovely position near to the port of Dinan.It has everything you will need, well equipped kitchen full of condiments, comfortable beds and pillows with spotless linen and a reserved parking place . There is a lovely view of the river which is accessed by a spiral staircase. Cath was very accommodating, allowing us to access the gite early and we had good communication throughout

Charming cottage in an ideal location

The cottage has many charming features, is very well equipped and has a raised terrace with stunning views over the River Rance. The location is ideally placed for riverside walks and access to nearby restaurants. Being able to park outside the cottage or in the two private parking spaces two minutes walk away is a bonus.

Emplacement de rêve , mais grosse déception

Je ne souhaitais pas laisser de commentaires négatif mais..... Le logement laissait plus qu'à désirer au niveau propreté, quand on revendique respecter la charte COVID on se doit de penser aux autres bactéries néfastes pour l'être humains (ex : vaisselle à laver avant de s'en servir, balayettes à cuvette de WC dans un état de grande saleté, extérieur à balayer soi même.....et j'en passe!). De même, les vélux de la chambre du 2ème étage étaient coincés.....ouvert! Super, heureusement que nous n'étions pas en décembre!!! Idem pour la fenêtre de la salle d'eau du rez de chaussée.....J'en oublie sûrement! Quel dommage qu'un aussi bel endroit soit si peu entretenu! La déco ne fait pas tout! Il me semble qu'AVANT d'accueillir des clients qui payent on se doit de vérifier toutes ces choses. je déconseille également aux PMR et aux enfants en bas âge : il ne seront pas en sécurité, trop d'escalier pour eux! Moi ça m'a fait faire du sport et Dinan est une ville superbe.....ça console!

Un avre de paix

Les 2 semaines passées dans le gîte nous ont offert un magnifique séjour. Le gîte est exceptionnel tant dans son aménagement que par sa situation géographique. L emplacement de parking est proche de la location. Nous avons pu découvrir de nombreux sites proche de dinan. Merci à cath et John pour leur gentillesse et les attentions faites à notre arrivée. We fell in love with Dinan the first time we visited it, the combination of a walled medieval town with a bustling port is unique certainly in this part of France. There is always something to do - even if it's just watching the world go by from a creperie on the banks of the river. There are heaps of places to go and things to see in Brittany but nothing beats a lazy afternoon by the river with a good bottle of red ! Rue du Four is the ideal location to explore from or to just hang-out at. Sitting on the terrace in the evening sun can't be beaten.

This little house overlooks the river Rance and the port of Dinan. It is a fabulous base for walking and cycling as there are tow paths in both directions along the river. There are several restaurants in the port, a 2 minute stroll accross the bridge, so you don't need to drive anywhere in the evening. A more challenging walk is up the famous Rue du Jersual into the medieval town itself.
This part of Britanny has a stunning coast line and beautiful and historic towns. Try Lancieux or Saint Jacut de la Mer as well as the wonderful towns of St Malo and Dinard
