Excellent accommodations! It was everything we had expected, hoped for and more. This house is located in a gated, quiet and secure neighborhood with security. The host and his property manager were very attentive to all of our needs and responsive to every question.

Excellent!!!

The house was as advertised! The property manager was helpful, made sure we arrived and was flexible with timing. The view and location is perfect and safe. It was an easy drive to anything you need! We will definitely return again!

Comfortable house with exquisite views.

We enjoyed our stay at Veranda Breeze very much. It had everything you need or expect from a vacation rental. Appreciated the cleaning service 3 times weekly and owner Tod and property manager Vaughn were helpful and kind. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again.

Beautiful villa with great view!

We had a wonderful vacation at Veranda Breeze! The home is located in a quiet location, with a peaceful ocean view. It is close to great beaches, several restaurants, and a short drive to Phillipsburg and Orient Beach. The inside is spacious, clean and well appointed. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a day at the beach. The owner Todd provided great information in helping us plan for our visit, and the property manager, Guy was very friendly and available for any questions and/or recommendations. We hope to return to Veranda Breeze in the future!

Check-in was easy! Pierre met us there and gave us the tour and answered questions. The house was very spacious and just as advertised. The common areas were very hot though upon arrival and never quite cooled off despite having all doors and windows open. The bedrooms did have an AC unit though which allowed us space to be comfy. We did have a bit of an ant problem but that was easy to resolve by keeping food in sealable bags and containers. The view is one of a kind!

Had a great week. Villa was very clean (most important). Open floor plan with plenty of room. Outdoor space with pool great for relaxing after day at beach. Grounds very well taken care of, one of the best we seen. Vaughn and his wife were great property managers. Would definitely recommend.

Gem in Oyster Pond SXM

I worked remotely from this house for 6 weeks. The house is so perfectly situated with amazing views, constant breeze and a lovely layout for truly enjoying the outdoors regardless of weather. The owner is easy to access but he has amazing local staff and the house is well taken care of. There are piles of local restaurants nearby and it is central to all spots like Orient Bay and Phillipsburg. If you want a 3 bedroom house to rent in SXM- this is the one.

Perfect Spring Break

We had a lovely stay at Veranda Breeze. The accommodations were comfortable and as advertised. We appreciated the beach towels and boogie boards. The kitchen was well appointed and the furnishings were comfortable. The wireless internet was fast enough for me to do a bit of work and the kids to stream their shows. Just up the road from us (5 minutes) was a lovely French bakery with amazing pastries. There were several restaurants in the immediate area as well. The proximity to Phillipsburg was also appreciated. Should we take another trip to SXM we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful villa with a beautiful view!

My wife and I have been going to St. Maarten for many years. We have always stayed in the Dawn Beach, Oyster Pond area. We have always admired the beautiful villas overlooking but have never stayed in one until this year. Our stay could not have been better. Veranda Breeze offers not only all the amenities you would want but safety and security as well! The owner and local property manager made us feel welcomed and made our stay easy and relaxing without the need to run out to the market every time we needed coffee filters, salt and pepper or items usually not found in many rental properties. We felt like we had the pleasure of staying in someone’s home instead of a rental property! Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic Stay

Ordinarily pictures of locations are much more glamorous or over stated, but in this case they were under stated. The pics did not do this villa justice. My wife and I have rented villas/houses from Nags Head, to Hilton Head, to the Keys, and to other islands in the Caribbean. But by far this was the most surprising in terms of view(gorgeous), location, amenities, and accessibility to the surrounding area. The grocery store, Carrefour's (short distance away), and Veranda Market & Bistro(close by-maybe 5 minutes) provided all the necessary items we needed. Speaking of Veranda Market & Bistro, the Bistro has a happy hour every day(5PM-6PM) but are closed on Mondays. They have great pizzas and other delicious eats. We did not visit the French side as we were content to spend time at Oriental Beach (French) or split time between there and the pool. That was all we needed to do. We highly recommend this as a honeymoon location (very private and quiet), family vacation, couples vacation (max 6 people), or just a quiet getaway for 2 vacation villa, just as long as it is not the 2 weeks we will be there. In conclusion, this is the only place in our travels that we did not want to leave, or at least spend another week there, but we did miss our dog. So, we had to leave, but we will be back.

A bumpy start to our vacation stay

We had a bumpy start. Despite having a reserved car rental, our rental agency told us upon arrival that they had overbooked and they didn’t have a car for us so they had to get some local car agency to provide a car, and that was very unnerving. In the meantime, we were supposed to meet our property manager, and it seemed like a very chaotic and unorganized process to meet him but eventually we did and by that time my nerves were shot. I didn’t like the new car rental and after two days I switched to another company basically the first two days of my stay were Unpleasant not because of the property but because of the car rental situation. I strongly recommend using the Thrifty dollar car rental service. I will not name the other service for fear of lawsuits but I will certainly never use them again there was a miscommunication with our house cleaner, and when we arrived at the villa, it had not been cleaned as we had expected, but it was cleaned the next day .

Oyster Pond

The property is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful with vistas of the the ocean and surrounding landscapes. It is conveniently located with access to Phillipsburg (less than 10 minutes) and the French side. Todd the owner has provided excellent support for you on the island. We were met by Vaughn at the airport who assisted us with groceries and then made sure we were well established at the property. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We can’t wait to stay there again.

Really great house in a nice quiet location. Three very comfortable rooms with separate bathrooms. Close to some very good restaurants and a wonderful little bakery and grocery shop.

Beautiful home

I recently stayed here with my husband, mother and 10yr old daughter. The property manager was very nice and answered any question quickly. The house keeping was very nice to have as well. We like to eat in and the kitchen is so well stocked it was wonderful. They had everything you need to cook with utensils, spices etc…. There were a lot of ants on the floors especially at night they seemed to get active but we expected some cause of being in the hills. They are not to bad unless you got one that bit. The home is very secure and safe. The linens need to be updated they are old. But that and the ants are the only downside. The outdoor space and view are amazing and relaxing. Defiantly loved our stay

Prachtige aangename woning een rustig gebied. We hebben genoten van het comfort in en rond de woning. Er was wel frequent personeel in en rond de woning wat soms ten koste ging van de privacy.

Veranda Breeze Oyster Pond

Three king size bedrooms with bathrooms provided lots of space. We were out and about to beaches but also lived on the verandah and BBQd suppers. Weather was windy and rainy but when it was hot the cool pool was a relief. House issues that occurred were dealt with by both the property Manager and owner. Time for some new beach and master bath towels! The house was well stocked. Bonus to have three times a week housekeeping!

Wonderful return to St. Maarten

Our first return trip to St. Maarten since Irma could not have gone better. The Villa was fantastic and just as described. Vaughn the property manager met us at the car rental shop and we followed him to the Villa. He gave us time to stop to pick up some supplies at the new Super Market by Grand Case and then on to the house. The villa was clean and well stocked, plenty of beach and bath towels along with kitchen necessities. The view from the veranda was great. The maid service was also much appreciated. My wife and I along with our guests loved our stay and would certainly make this location a first choice when we return to St. Maarten Jeff & Deb B Minnesota.

Great Villa

Exceeded all expectations

This was our 4th visit to the island and Veranda Breeze was by far the nicest place we have stayed. We felt very comfortable with the 24/7 security of the gated community. Location, view and landscaping was exceptional. Layout of the villa is perfect for a couple or a family. Well stocked kitchen and grill made it fun to cook at home. Housekeeping amenities were a huge bonus. The owner was very attentive from time of booking till after we were home.

Perfect week at Veranda Breeze

We spent the week as a family of 4 adults and 2 small children. This was an amazing vacation at an amazing location. The house is beautiful. We spent most of the week at the villa enjoying the gorgeous patio and pool. We went to Orient Bay a few days and had an excellent time. Our favorite restaurant was Indigo. We cooked a bunch at the villa though and had all the kitchen supplies needed. It was very well stocked. I was a bit nervous about all the doors to the patio and bringing small kids. Once there I realized that it was incredibly secure and the nighttime alarm system kept my nerves in check. I would 100% recommend this villa. The owner Todd and property manager Vaughn were very easy to communicate with. Do yourself a favor and stay here.
