The detached farm house 'Rustico la Tinaia' is located at 200 meters above sea level, with a fantastic view of the Versilia coast. It is surrounded by hills Tuscany nature, but is at 15 km from sea (Viareggio) and 5 km from highway (Massarosa, LUCCA).
La Tinaia is an ancient stone farm house ideal for 4-6 people or two families. There are two kitchens and two entrances and an exclusive nice garden. The rustic house has been completely restored with original stone, wood and cork, photovoltaic panels and heat pumps.
At the street level there are: the entrance with the stairs, the great blue bathroom, the romantic double bed room, and a large room (20 sqm.) with 2 sofa bed and a living area with a modern kitchen. The stairs leading to the ground floor and the garden, there is a cozy living-dining room with a sofa/bed, the well equipped wood kitchen, the second bathroom and another room with the double bed. The ground floor opens onto the fenced private garden with area for breakfast, there is pergola-porch and a shaded cozy gazebo.
On the windows there are mosquito nets and blackout curtains. The house is furnished with care and rustic furniture.
The house has air conditioning , TV , washing machine , security door and is monitored by cameras on the borders.
All inclusive: Wi-Fi, electricity, water, linen, towels.
Outside the House:
The exclusive garden is well equipped and is enclosed with a rustic fence and with the gate on the street. It's a beautiful isolated space where you have breakfast or can relax in the sun or in the shade of the pergola/portico or in the gazebo, you can enjoyed of the flowers and butterflies and of the herbs wonderful for cooking.
The house has the typical Tuscany hills landscape, and the beautiful view of Tirreno sea with Capraia and Gorgona islands and Corsica also, when it's clear, and Puccini-Massaciuccoli lake. The access road ends at the house La Tinaia so without traffic.
Parking is free: near the house or about 40-80 meters.
The house is close to Lucca (20 km) and Pisa (30 km) and Firenze (100 km).
La Tinaia is an ideal starting point for trekking and cycling tours, it is near Via Francigena also!
Grocery-butchers shop, restaurant and bar are about 500 meters. Facilities, market and shops just 3 km (Stiava and Massarosa).
Overview:
The house La Tinaia is short drive away from the sea. Nearby beaches are for all your needs, just south of Viareggio and at Torre del Lago you find wide free beaches, dunes and pine forests (Natural Parks of Lecciona, Massaciuccoli Lake, Vecchiano and Migliarino-San Rossore). Not far are Garfagnana Mountain and the Apuane Alps Park, famous for white marble of Michelangelo's David.
From Viareggio to Forte dei Marmi you can find shops, nightlife and cultural events. Torre del Lago Puccini (16 km) and Pieve a Elici (2 km) are famous for Music Season and Opera. And many near city to discover: Lucca, Pietrasanta, Pisa, Florence

Beautiful House in Tuscany

We stayed here for 10 days as a family (two adults, 1 child, 1 dog) and had a wonderful time. The house is well kept and charming. The hosts were great and friendly and we felt very welcomed. The house is up in the hills / mountains with a somewhat challenging (but easily managable) drive and is about a 20 minute drive to the beach.We treuly relaxed here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to say in Tuscany.

Perfect! Go there and enjoy!

Donatella is simply amazing! She would always be there for us whenever we needed. Thank you so much! House is old, over 250 years old, fully renovated, with everything you need to spend time with your family. The view from was amazing. Anything we didn’t like? No. Maybe driving this crazy mountain was tiring but this is Tuscany- you get the view when you learn how to drive UP.

Das Haus liegt am Ende einer langen kurvenreichen Strasse in sehr sehr gemütlicher Lage und bezauberndem Blick über die Landschaft.Es ist traditionell und massiv gebaut und hat eine sehr gut Ausstattung. Sowohl im Elternschlafzimmer als auch im Schlafzimmer für die Kinder konnte gut geschalfen werden. Auf den beiden Etagen sind jeweils Klimaanlagen installiert.Donatella, die Besitzerin war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes selbst im Urlaub - die Verständigung per FeWo Diekt Chat hat aber wunderbar und schnell funktioniert.Die Anfahrt mit den Auto ist typisch für die Gegend etwas beengt, war aber mit unserem Passi ohne weiteres möglich.

Individuelles Haus

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Allerdings ist die Raumaufteilung für uns als Familie nicht so optimal gewesen. Für zwei reisende Pärchen ist es ideal. Die Elektroinstallation entspricht nicht ganz dem Standard (flackernde Lampen), aber dies hängt wahrscheinlich damit zusammen, dass es sich um ein älteres Gebäude handelt, wo man die Leitungen nicht so verlegen kann, wie in einem neuen Haus. Die Klimaanlage und Waschmaschine sind erwähnenswerte Pluspunkte. Ebenfalls ist ein toller Garten vorhanden, den wir leider wegen Hitze und abends Mücken nicht so nutzen konnten, wie wir es gerne getan hätten. Donatella die Vermieterin war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Was uns persönlich nicht so gut gefallen hat, war die Lage und Parkplatzsituation. Der Weg und die direkte Zufahrt zum Haus sind sehr steil und nur mit einem kleinen Fahrzeug gibt es überhaupt die Möglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus zu parken.

Nous avons passé dix jours très agréables dans cette belle région, point de départ de nombreuses découvertes : Lucca, Pisa, Siena, le cinque terre etc... Il était agréable, après ces excursions de retrouvé le calme dans cette location bien tenue, très propre avec une literie confortable. il est conseillé de conduire prudemmnent pour accéder à la maison située dans les hauteurs de Massarosa ; mais le calme et la vue superbe se méritent... La logeuse est très sympathique et j'ai pu exercer mon italien rudimentaire. Bref, de bonnes vacances

Soggiorno piacevole. Location stupenda.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questa casa molto curata, pulita e perfettamente ristrutturata. Si trova su una collina e dal terrazzo giardino si gode un panorama favoloso, di giorno e di notte. Tutto intorno pace e quiete. Il borgo consta di poche case e la strada carrozzabile termina davanti alla casa. Ci sono diverse possibilità di escursioni panoramiche anche partendo dal paese. Le spiagge libere più belle e vicine sono quelle di Torre del Lago. Ringraziamo Donatella per averci accolto con cordialità e disponibilità nella sua casa molto confortevole per una piacevole vacanza.

...wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Rustikales Haus; sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und eingerichtet. Von dem kleinen Garten aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Lago di Massaciuccoli und Pisa. Wir waren Mitte April dort, wobei es relativ kalt war, doch mit der Behelfsheizung ließen sich die Räume einigermaßen auf Temperatur bringen. Die Zufahrt über die schmale Bergstraße ist etwas umständlich, aber es lohnt sich. Auch die Nachbarn waren sehr freundlich.

Schönes rustikales Haus mit wunderschönem Garten und Ausblick!

Wir verbrachten Anfang Juli eine Woche zu fünft im Haus und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit dort. Der Garten ist voll mit Planzen und Kräutern, die man zum Kochen verwenden kann - traumhaft. Die Einrichtung im Haus ist rustikal, aber sehr schön. Es war während unseres Besuchs sehr heiß in der Region, deshalb haben wir uns sehr über die Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern gefreut.

Wonderful house in a great nature

We had a great time in this little house. It ist really nice with the old furniture an the garden with plants, flowers and herbs. You need a little time to come to the beach or the supermarket. But if you have a car it's no problem. Donatella was very friendly, she expected us in the house and gave us all information, we needed.

A very good week in la Tinaia

We spent a excellent week in la tinaia. This cottage is very comfortable and very well equpiped excepted a micro wave oven or simple oven for cooking. The house has a nice decoration ans has air conditionned in the two bedrooms which is well apreciated in summer. The garden and the terrace with an incredible view are very pleasant. The owner is very friendly and make easy arrival and departure.

So wie beschrieben.

Das Haus ist so, wie wir es uns anhand der Bilder und der Beschreibung vorgestellt haben: rustikal, ruhig, mit hübscher Blumenterrasse, vor Kurzem erst grundüberholt und gut gepflegt; die Einrichtung überschaubar (v. a. Küchengeräte beachten...), dafür aber mit diversen originellen Möbeln. Organisatorisch hat alles gut funktioniert. Zum Strand sind es ca. 20 Minuten Fahrt und einige Kurven, aber so ist das eben mit ruhigen Häusern auf Hügeln... Der freie Strand lohnt sich dann auch sehr. Zu den kulturellen Angeboten braucht man sicher an dieser Stelle nicht viel sagen. Erwähnenswert sind darüber hinaus noch die gut erschlossenen und erreichbaren Wandermöglichkeiten in den Apuanischen Alpen. - Eigenes Fahrzeug vorausgesetzt.

Wonderful view, wonderful house. Quiet but close.

We stayed here for one week in July. It is a wonderful house, with a Beautiful view from the terrace. The house is well equiped, well kept and tastefully decorated. It is up in the Mountains, which means that it is a bit cooler. Pisa is very near as well as the beaches of Viareggio. Florens is within a short distance and so is the wonderful Grotta di Vento. We have four kids and they enjoyed the variety of things to do; beaches, snorkling, the Caves, and of course the attractions in Pisa and Florens.

You will understand why it is a special place: the nature surrounding the house, the small ancient villages, the small exclusive garden full of flowers and herbs, the spectacular view. It is the typical Tuscan country house but with all the comforts, without traffic because the road ends at the house, but at 500 meters from the main of local shops.
