There was quite a bit of rain during your stay. Unfortunately, that is when bugs try to escape and seek shelter! We just wish it were not in our homes! Rest assured, we do have our homes sprayed regularly and are always happy to send someone out to spray if needed during your stay. We are concerned about the dust and dirt issues in the downstairs bedroom and regret that these were only reported at the end of your 6-night stay, leaving us unable to address them sooner. Catherine, We are very sorry your time was unsatisfactory. We wish for our guest to have a relaxing stay while vacationing at any of our properties and are saddened to hear that was not the case for you. Our records indicate that you asked for a broom and mop, but not a vacuum, so that is what we dropped off at the property. Cleaning supplies offered at the property are owner provided. If the owner has decided not to keep certain items within the property, we are glad to supply them when asked by guest. We were never informed of the cleaning issues at this home and would have been glad to send housekeeping back out to address those complaints while on your stay had we been notified. Regarding what is provided by us at Benchmark Management, a Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods. This information is included in your signed rental agreement. We add this information so our guest can prepare as needed for their upcoming trips. We have this pool serviced every week on Thursdays currently, but if a guest requests an intermittent clean, we do our best to contact the pool company to do so.
