Delightful and relaxing

The property is beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for kayaking on multiple lakes. Dana and Greg made us feel right at home! Definitely recommend this wonderful place and host!

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay. Home is very clean and has everything you need. Owner is very pleasant and accommodating. Location is very peaceful and quiet, yet lots to see and do near by.

Excellent Place and Hosts

This is a great spot with beautiful views and comfy beds. We will definitely book again next time we are in the area. The hosts, Dana and Greg, are great!

Amazing weekend

This was an awesome stay for the weekend in February! The host (Dana) was great. It's more spacious in real life than in the pictures! Comfy mattress and a cozy room.

Had an amazing 4th in Barnes

My husband and I were in Barnes for a friend’s birthday on 4th of July weekend, found Dana and Greg’s place, and loved it. They are so friendly and wonderfully accommodating. Plus Sophie is the best doggie greeter in Wisconsin. Thank you for the amazing fire pit and great tour of the lake!! You guys are the best. See you soon.

My husband and I loved our stay here. We were in the area for a wedding. The location was perfect, close to the water, beautiful, and quiet. Dana was so sweet and generous with sharing her knowledge about the area. The place was spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Time to recover

A very lovely spot with a million dollar view, the hosts were great and welcoming. the cabin was perfect for what we were looking for, and centrally located to our needs. Comfort rest and relaxation and fun hosts were a perfect recipe!

Cozy getaway

We were in the area for a funeral and to visit with friends. We didn't really have much opportunity to spend at the rental. Everything was cozy and clean, Dana was so friendly and willing to make our stay enjoyable. Such a beautiful place!

Fish on !!

We spent 4 wonderful days. Dana and Greg are the perfect hosts. Beautiful property and location with access to crystal clear lakes . . and plenty of fish. Thank you for making our trip such a great time !!!

Great place on the lake

My husband and I enjoyed a few days in Dana's comfy place. It is on the bottom floor and walks right out to an amazing lawn and water on all sides. We loved being out in the quiet, our dog especially enjoyed splashing and playing with Dana's dog Sophie. Will be back

Amazing sister getaway!

I booked this trip as a graduation present for my little sister. I must say that this place felt like it was sent from above! The drive up there was serene, the views all around the property were beautiful, and the hospitality that Donna showed made this one of the most enjoyable experiences up to date. I truly appreciated and loved everything we were able to experience. Donna went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and to make sure when enjoyed. I am going to recommend this place to everyone I know, and I will definitely be coming back myself!

Hayward escape

Spent a weekend on the Eau Claire chain of lakes. The water in this area is extremely clear with lots of wildlife to enjoy. The property fits in with the beauty of up north. The house sits on a large property with two dock to enjoy. There is also plenty of furniture, sit on the dock, in the pines or under the porch. The house had everything we needed and has a cabin atmosphere with a large room with a queen size bed, cable, WiFi, day bed, full size fridge, and a kitchenette meet our cooking needs. I wish we had more time to visit with Dana, she is very helpful and social. Next time we will have that drink! Thank you!

Comfy, beautiful view, wildlife & a friendly host

It was everything we wanted for a long weekend in the north. Dana was very kind and friendly and gave us some great suggestions for day trips. Easy drive to Superior, Ashland and Amicon Falls. So many hikes to do and too little time to do them all. We hesitate to say how wonderful a place it was, for fear it will always be booked and not available! We saw lots of deer, turkeys and a bear while driving back to the rental at dusk. One evening a buck greeted us in the driveway. The ground floor entry was perfect for us and the living area was comfortable as was the bed. We enjoyed the hot tub and were able to attended church with Dana on Sunday! Thanks Dana, Greg and Sophie (the dog) for sharing you little piece of heaven on earth with us. Hope to come back again sometime. Kim and Tom

Disappointed

You can find many more listings for better a price and say what they actually are. When we arrived we were greeted and greeted very disrespectfully. There was a lot of confusion about the stay. When it’s listed as entire house you think we would have it completely to ourselves. The listing does mention they live there with a dog but not until the very end of the description. Their dog barked early in the morning and sat outside our door and barked another time as. We mentioned that and nothing was done. We planned it to be a relaxing weekend and it wasn’t, Especially with the dog barking a lot. Dog hair everywhere, toothpaste in the sink, was mostly clean but those things could be avoided. Owner made strange and unnecessary comments. Was not the most fun stay.
