Generally speaking, we'd highly recommend Pete's place. It's a short walk to the beach, a perfect amount of space for our family of four, was clean, and communication was easy with Pete. The one draw back is because it's the back apartment in a shared house, there's reduced privacy, as the back patio space butts up to the unit. So if the group in the main house are partying it up, even responsibly as was the group who was there when we were, it can make it tough to go to sleep. We really appreciated the little details of beach chairs, a great wagon for taking our stuff to the beach, and games for us to play. However, there were some overlooked--such as basic supplies in the kitchen (a toaster, colander), bath gel. And a clean up/ "upgrade" of the outdoor space would make the apartment more comfortable.
