We do list this property with the pool as not being able to be heated, however we still understand how that can be frustrating. March is one of those months here on the island where it can be very warm, or it can bring cooler weather as well. There aren’t any restaurants within walking distance but there are a variety of restaurants in the downtown area close to where the property is located and a good many restaurants in a 3-5 minute drive. This is due to the Sea Turtles and it's mandated by the City. So sorry to hear that the tub wasn't draining properly. We will get that taken care of. If we had known during your stay we would've certainly sent someone out to repair it! We will take a look at some of the furnishings as well and pass the information along to the owner. This property is ideal for a family that wants to use the pool and have access to the beach. The balcony overlooking the private pool allows for quick access, and as you mentioned allows for you to keep eyes on the children at the pool. This property is very accommodating, and makes you feel at home instantly. Thank you for the feedback. We are very sorry you felt like the photos did not reflect your experience at this property. The natural dunes that are on our island, can sometimes create a slightly longer walk to the beach. We apologize if this was not communicated correctly on the property listing. The water outside of the unit is a retention pond, that is required by water management to ensure runoff from storms does not threaten our properties. We also hate to hear that this was a tough unit to find, we will get with the owner of the unit and review property descriptions and pictures to ensure the directions and descriptions are as clear as possible. We understand that the fees can be frustrating, however these fees do cover the hard work our team puts into maintaining, and keeping the property clean. We did call the day after you checked in and left a voicemail to see how your stay was going, and we are disappointed that we did not hear back. We do this so we have the opportunity to make sure you were comfortable, and not experiencing any issues. . We work hard to be very proactive, and it always a little disheartening when guests wait until after their stay to let us know about any issues. We manage all different types of properties that fit different guest preferences, and we do have a lot guests that love this property so we were surprised to see your dissatisfaction. We apologize immensely that this did not meet your preferences. We pride ourselves on always being available for our guests, and we work hard to make any negative situation with a guest right. We would love for you to give Amelia Island another shot, and if you do we would love one of our properties to be apart in making that happen. Thank you again for your feedback.

We are saddened to see this review Brenda, as we took measures during your stay to attempt to make amends, and we thought those amends were well received. We always guarantee our cleaning. We gurantee our cleaning by calling each guest the day after they check in, to make sure everything is up to guests standards. If there are any cleanliness issues reported back from the guest, we will always send our cleaning team back out to the unit to take care of immediately. We love to hear that the location of the unit met your needs, we agree that this location could not be more perfect. This owner has replaced the couch and chairs since your stay with us. We do apologize for the issue with construction. The association did not notify us that anything was going on, and we certainly hate if it inconvenienced your stay as that is frustrating and we certainly understand that. We appreciate the feedback and we hope you give Amelia Island another shot in the near future.
