Great stay in NSB

Such a relaxing stay at The Pelican! I’ve been visiting New Smyrna Beach for over 20 years, and The Pelican is, by far, my favorite home away from home. The property and the condo are well-maintained. It’s very peaceful, and all condos are beach-facing with outstanding views. I’ll stay here again and again. Melynda communicated Information upon arrival and departure, and was available if any issues arose, and I happily had no issues here. Great place for those with children of all ages.

A Family Favorite

We have been coming to the Pelican for years and it is always great. This condo unit was great, it was nice booking through VRBO which allowed flexibility of amount of days we could come. We plan to come again! Great spot.

Great stay. Amazing views

We all loved our stay. The pelican is a great complex. Everyone we met was so nice. Very relaxing. The unit was older but was very clean. The living room is very open and the views from the living room and balcony were amazing as advertised. Communication with property manager was quick and helpful. Master bedroom was roomy but the en-suite was small, no area for hair tools, make up etc. shower/tub were fine. Nice to have tub for 3yo. The other bedroom was small but worked ok since we were only there for 4 nights. Kitchen was adequate.

This unit was a great place to stay. My husband, daughter, and I enjoyed a few days in NSB. Clean & had everything we needed. The condo bldg itself is well cared for and in a good location for walking to some of our favorite spots. Would definitely stay here again.

Great beach getaway

The condo ( two bedrooms, and a rollaway) was perfectly comfortable for two couples and our unmarried daughter. The view of the ocean and the sound of the waves is so relaxing. The whole facility is well kept, well built, and secure. We were surprised at check-in that only two parking passes were allowed, but their overflow parking was convenient. We did not know there was driving on the beach, which might matter to a family bringing children. There are a couple of issues with the fridge, a broken shelf and a drawer that doesn’t open, a broken decorative wall light, and the cleaning staff had overlooked some details. But overall we found everything clean, well furnished and lovely. We had a great time and would go back.

Beach Delight!

This condo is ideally located for a great beach getaway convenient to local shops and restaurants while quiet and peaceful in the condo. The view is amazing and the unit very comfortable and stylish . All my expectations were met and more. The Pelican grounds were beautiful , pool, and units well maintained. Lots of parking during May. Great communication with Melynda . Highly recommend.

New Smyrna Beach

Such a great condo right on the beach. Far enough south that the beach traffic is minimal. Pools are cleaned everyday and the entire property is well maintained! We will definitely be back.

Great Stay

Always love The Pelican. This was by far our best unit there. Our flight got in at 8:15am but they were nice enough to go ahead and give us our pool bands until the room was ready, which Melyinda was able to get us in early. Unit was absolutely spotless and just steps from the elevator which made it easy for getting luggage and groceries to the room. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful condo overlooking beach and pools

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were two older couples. The kitchen offered everything we needed. Each morning we sat on the balcony overlooking the pools and the ocean with our coffee.

Great condo, great location!

Totally enjoyed our stay! The condo was perfect and with a beautiful view! The location was close to restaurants, stores .... The property manager was super friendly and incredibly responsive! Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful views

The Ocean view and wave sounds were breath taking. The main King & guest bed Queen were fantastic (memory foam) and slept great. Quiet around the area at night. Our property manager was terrific and very helpful. The amenities were A1 fantastic. Wi-Fi, cable TV, ceiling fans were great. The rules and guidelines were clearly printed in a binder on the coffee table. The only downside and this is all nit-picking but it's an honest review: Our stay was only 3.5 days. Some things are a bit old or used and need better maintenance/attention like the bunk beds/bedding in the guest room had a mildew smell. The dehumidifier in the main area was a bit suspect with corrosion so we didn't use it. The fridge water filter needs changed per its indicator. The front load washer needs cleaning because of mold & smell. This is common to front loaders as most may know. As guest you are required to wash any towels over the use of the sets of 2 provided in both bathrooms. No biggie, soap was provided. The main view left curtain slide track was misaligned and needs fixed so the left side curtian stays open 2-3 feet. Plan to do some lite chores before your last day. Again, these are little things and still review it 5 for 5. I would stay again and would recommend it for the price.

Great Accommodations

From the rental, to check-in, stay, and check-out.... all went well... like clockwork. Condo is comfortable and located right on the beach with a great view of the ocean and pool area. Couple comments ... 1) would be nice to have a tv in the second bedroom; 2) recommend getting taller toilets and adding some grab bars next to toilet and in the shower in at least one of the bathrooms to help older people.

B404 Pelican has a lot to offer with plenty of room and sleeping space. The condo by far has a spectacular direct ocean views with ceiling to floor sliding glass doors. It is very open and roomy with an updated flare. Image yourself sitting on the beach watching the ocean unfurl while the breeze nourishes your soul. Your mind is at ease and there are no large crowds and vehicles going by, just nature at its best.

Oceanfront complex with 600 feet of beach/oceanfront property is perfect offering an oceanfront pool, which is heated in the winter and shuffle board courts. There are poolside lounge chairs to soak up the sun, large shaded areas to cool off and gas grills throughout.
