Maria was great with communications! We enjoyed having the private pier to dock our boat. The back yard was spacious for our younger ones to run and play. We enjoyed our stay! Also, the property is located close to many fun activities at Silver Lake.

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the lakefront and the spacious backyard for lawn games for a large family. Both features are what our guests enjoy the most. It is not a normal combination to have both lakefront and a huge yard in the Silver Lake area.

So glad to hear that you enjoyed our well equipped kitchen. The separation of interior rooms were well thought of. The adults and the kids can do their own separate activity indoors as you are winding down and have a large backyard for family activities. Thank you for staying with us.

Very clean and cozy. We loved the location, because it is close to all of the fun lake type activities. The back yard is large and gives a private feel. The house is well stocked with all of the essentials. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with.

Great house! Updated house with the original character intact. Very cozy and welcoming, we did not need for anything. Locations was perfect, short walk to the water with a nice shaded seating area. Our 1st time to Silver Lake and we will definitely come back!

Unique, quirky house with nice kitchen that overlooks the patio area. Clean and fully stocked, only suggestion was that many of the frying pans and pots had burnt on foods(?) or just needing to be replaced. High step from the patio into the kitchen and step up to the main living room (which was most likely the original 1940's house), step up from bedrooms also. Taller guests; especially those over 6 foot need to watch when they step up from bedrooms and kitchen door, my one son-in-law banged his head a few times! Beds were comfortable, main bath clean and updated with tub; 2nd bathroom off kitchen smaller with shower only. Firepit and surrounding chairs are awesome as well as the yard and front lighted trees. All six of us had a great time and enjoyed the house immensely!

So happy to hear that you enjoyed all the amenities and outdoor gathering areas of this property. We appreciate your appreciation of this well loved original Michigan cottage with its charm and nuances with room transitions as part of the old architecture. We appreciate the note on pots and pans. We just need to work with our cleaning crew. Thank you.

We had an amazing family vacation of 4 adults and 2 kiddos. The location and layout of the house is excellent, with a 2min walk to the shore and the private right to the shore with cover and chairs is priceless to have some people paddle board or kayak while others relax. The firepit and HUGE backyard with tree swings, outdoor shower was used daily by everyone. The location is 5min drive, 20min walk from the main downtown which is the right separation we prefer. Just note the house is older - charming - wood floors and sneaking to the kitchen at night don't mix well. :)
