Fantastic Beach House

The property was exactly as pictured and kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you need. Host Ted was very responsive and welcoming. Loved our stay and definitely want to come back!

Best Beach Getaway Place in Monterey area

The Beautiful house is steps away from the beach. Ted and Rose are very accommodating and responsive. This is easily my favorite beach getaway in the whole area.

Great place

We had a great time here. The place is very nicely remodeled and extremely relaxing. The beds and furnature were super comfortable. We could walk right out directly to the ocean and beach. The hosts were wonderful, they had music playing when we arrived and a bottle of wine waiting on the counter. Overall a fantastic get away.

Perfect week at the beach

Slice of Cali paradise

Beautiful house right on the most gorgeous beach, newly renovated with exquisite taste. The hosts were thoughtful and responsive, great communication. This area of the CA coast is exceptional- close to Monterey, Santa Cruz, but also very down to earth as the agricultural breadbasket of the nation. We loved it and will return.

What a terrific beachfront property! It is exactly as it appears on the website---the rooms were immaculate, all appliances/electronics functioned perfectly. The rooms spacious and comfortable. I would happily stay again---thanks so much Ted and Rose!

Phenomenal property

This was our second time staying at Ted and Rose's amazing ocean-front property. It's a little piece of paradise and our extended family that we brought along felt the same way. Seeing the ocean from almost every room is blissful and the house is really well laid out and stocked. One of the best VRBO properties we've ever stayed at. And, Ted and Rose are fantastic, thoughtful and responsive hosts. 5-stars all around!

What a Gem!

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Three generations of our family staid for five days very comfortably. The view and beach access is amazing. We took full advantage of the private courtyard. All of the rooms are good sized and well appointed. The kitchen has everything, including a fully-stocked spice pantry. We hope to make this an annual event and are very grateful to Ted and Rose for opening their home to us.

An ideal getaway for the family reunion

This is a beautiful home, right on the dunes, with great views of the ocean (we saw a whale today!). The home offers excellent privacy, is quiet and peaceful and was perfect for our family gathering, including our elderly mother using a walker. The kitchen is modern and well stocked, as are the three bathrooms. The furnishings are very accommodating, and the home offered everything we needed for a beachfront stay. We can't wait to stay here again!

This is simply an amazing property! The views, the incredible beach location, equipped with everything one could possibly need on vacation and a very attentive host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a personal welcome note! Excellent experience

What an amazing lovely beach house! It was the ultimate perfect place to celebrate our friendship with 3 other couples. The beach was a great for morning walks. The place was very clear and the check-in process was a breeze. Ted and Rose's hospitality was over the top. They had stocked up the fridge and pantry with goodies for us to enjoy. We really hope to come back to this place again.

Great beach house, amazing views!!!!

My family and I visited for three days to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. Ted and Rose were gracious and welcoming during the reservation process and that continued through to the end of our stay. The house is well stocked with everything that you would possibly need for a stay at the beach and the natural setting and location is incredible. We wish we had planned to spend more time on site as it is truly stunning. We are forever grateful to have had the opportunity to experience this little slice of paradise!

Beautiful, fully equipped home

The location was gorgeous, quiet and surrounded by nature. My husband and our 3 adult kids and partners plus a 2 year old enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home on the dunes overlooking the beach. We’ve never seen such a well equipped kitchen with every tool or gadget you could ever need. The furniture was so comfortable and nicely arranged in the shared space. The questions we had were answered promptly and the welcome bottle of wine and chocolates were a nice touch to a very pleasant time.

Wonderful multigenerational family getaway

This property is even better than all the five star reviews say. The location is unbeatable, just steps from a sandy beach with panoramic views of the Monterey Bay. And Ted and Rose really have thought of everything. Our whole family, including young kids (3 and 7) and elderly grandparents were all equally at home and content, in the house and at the pool, hot tub, and clubhouse. We also enjoyed easy day trips to the aquarium, whale watching, and Carmel. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Wonderful week in Monterey!

We had such a great family ( ages 2-78) vacation at this property. The property was perfect and the owners were very hospitable. Easy and private walkways to beach and the view was perfect for watching sunsets. It was very quiet and relaxing. The home had EVERYTHING we needed and then some. I have stayed at other properties before where you needed to bring everything, not this one! We so appreciated all the little things the home owners did that made it a luxury vacay for us. Thank you!!

A Slice of Paradise by the Sea – Highly Recommended! Ted and Rose have created something truly special with this beachfront home—it’s absolute paradise. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with sweeping ocean views, thoughtful amenities, and a peaceful, relaxing vibe.The home is incredibly spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a serene beach theme that instantly puts you at ease. The second-floor patio overlooking the ocean is a dream—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or sunset glass of wine. And speaking of wine, Ted and Rose went above and beyond with their thoughtful welcome gift: a bottle of wine and chocolates that made us feel truly cared for. You’re literally less than a minute’s walk from the beach. Each morning, we strolled the shore collecting intact sand dollars and watching sea lions play in the surf. The wildlife in the area is incredible—sea birds and seals. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed—plenty of dishes, coffee, condiments, and more. There’s also a cozy fireplace, and on the partially sunny days during our stay, we enjoyed sitting by the window and watching the waves roll in. At night, we slept with the windows open, lulled to sleep by the sound of crashing waves. Our family is already making plans to return. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape, a peaceful retreat, or a family getaway, this place is an absolute gem. We love the ocean and love Monterey Dunes. The dunes offer a unique setting. The dunes are a ecosystem unto itself. Very rare to have the dunes to be viewed from the home as well the ocean.

we live in a gated community. We have a community pool (when in season) jacuzzi, Tennis , Golf nets, volley ball, pickle ball, basketball, bocce ball and shuffle board at the clubhouse a short walk away for the unit.
