Overall, the cleanliness is the biggest issue that needs serious improvement.The good:- Beach front house.- Four bedrooms for family.- Easy to access, checkin and checkout.- Plenty of cooking and kitchen stuff.The bad:- Musty and grimy towels, some are not dry at all.- Beddings with stains/hairs and also a grimy smell.- Cooking pots mostly with large scratches on the nonstick layers, which is unhealthy to heat and use.- Heating in one of the bathroom (right side of the door) didn't work.

We had the BEST time at this beachfront home! From cooking together and playing board games to splashing in the waves and watching unforgettable sunsets, it was the perfect holiday weekend getaway. The house was spotless, super comfortable, and the perfect size for our family of five.The kids couldn’t get enough of building sandcastles and running straight into the ocean just steps from the door, while the adults loved relaxing and soaking in those jaw-dropping sunsets. The hosts thought of everything—we truly felt at home the entire stay.Amazing views, unbeatable location, and wonderful hosts… this place has it all! Highly, highly recommend for families looking to make special memories. We honestly can’t wait to come back!

Family get away

This place has everything. From beach and sunset with pool and sports courts to having every possible accessory needed as if it were your own home, this place had it all. Everything was spelled out and easy… didn’t need to contact the owner once during our entire stay. If coming back to Moss Landing, would definitely stay again.

A Slice of Paradise by the Sea – Highly Recommended! Ted and Rose have created something truly special with this beachfront home—it’s absolute paradise. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with sweeping ocean views, thoughtful amenities, and a peaceful, relaxing vibe.The home is incredibly spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a serene beach theme that instantly puts you at ease. The second-floor patio overlooking the ocean is a dream—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or sunset glass of wine. And speaking of wine, Ted and Rose went above and beyond with their thoughtful welcome gift: a bottle of wine and chocolates that made us feel truly cared for. You’re literally less than a minute’s walk from the beach. Each morning, we strolled the shore collecting intact sand dollars and watching sea lions play in the surf. The wildlife in the area is incredible—sea birds and seals. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed—plenty of dishes, coffee, condiments, and more. There’s also a cozy fireplace, and on the partially sunny days during our stay, we enjoyed sitting by the window and watching the waves roll in. At night, we slept with the windows open, lulled to sleep by the sound of crashing waves. Our family is already making plans to return. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape, a peaceful retreat, or a family getaway, this place is an absolute gem. A Second Great Stay

An annual trip four our family. We love staying here. Clean, well maintained, and the pantry and kitchen are fully stocked. The beach is straight out the door and the view is amazing. Thank you, Ted and Rose, for sharing your home with us.

Just perfect

Ted was responsive and accommodating.The beautiful place was just as it was described.We were 7 old friends that will get together every year and enjoy eating drinking playing card game and reminisce about younger days.So the back seating area and the front deck and short walk to the beach checked all the boxes.I will go back to Ted’s place with my own family in the near future.

A Gem in paradise!

Beautiful home, location and so many wonderful amenities provided by Ted and Rose!! Just a short drive to neighboring Moss Landing, Monterey and Carmel. The home is nestled away in a tranquil location. We had a generational family VAC and none of us wanted to leave! We will definitely be back!Thank you Ted and Rose for sharing your home and being great hosts!

This property was all it claimed to be and more

We walked in and right from the start, the view was tremendous, bright, blue skies, waves galore, Sand to play on and have treasure hunts, beds were comfortable and warm, and food was exceptional using the best kitchen and equipment ever. We spent a day at Monterey Aquarium and after dinner we watched the octupus wildlife movie - so interesting, even the young kids liked it on such a big screen TV. It is a fine netflicks movie. It helped for us to see the huge Octupus coming towards us to check us out at the Acquarium. That was an adventure as well. Our weather couldn't have been more perfect with the blue sky, white clouds and a touch of warmth, typical of January weather. We hope that there are many trips in our future. Thank you very much for sharing your house.

Beautiful and relaxing

A great after Christmas family getaway! Loved the remote location for peace and tranquility. The house was well stocked for cooking, comfy beds, kitchen table was a big gathering place for games/cards great grill, and the view of the ocean was amazing. Will come back!

Forever Family Memories

The trip was for my 89 year old Father who is fighting Cancer and wanted to stay on the Beach so he could hear and see the Ocean and this home did not disappoint ! From the moment he walked in and enjoyed the view from the floor to ceiling windows in the comfortable chairs placed right there . He was to take advantage of the chairs outside and enjoy the view of his own private secluded part the beach and enjoy the serenity with his wife. Then took a whale watching cruise and was able to go to the Aquarium which are in close proximity to the property. Thanks Ted & Rose for sharing your wonderful home ! Sincerely Jackie

A Slice of Heaven

This was an amazing place to stay. The view was incredible, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The appliances were new and the furniture was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Magical Beach Home

We had the most wonderful stay! Rose and Ted’s home was more than perfect for our annual mom-kid vacation. We enjoyed cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner in the well-stocked kitchen and had room for all of us to enjoy our meals together and play games! Kids enjoyed playing basketball and we loved our quick walks to the beautiful and serene beach! We had an easy drive to all our favorite places like Big Sur and Point Lobos. Waking up to the ocean views and the sounds of the waves was simply magical! Thank you to Rose and Ted for sharing your home with us! We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!

What a Gem!

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Three generations of our family staid for five days very comfortably. The view and beach access is amazing. We took full advantage of the private courtyard. All of the rooms are good sized and well appointed. The kitchen has everything, including a fully-stocked spice pantry. We hope to make this an annual event and are very grateful to Ted and Rose for opening their home to us.

A very special seaside experience

I moment I entered the community I could not take the smile off my face. We parked and walked to the units gate and opened it... everything is perfect. Ted and Rose have the unit furnished with magnificent pieces. Bright, airy, the sea and sand.

Fun place for our family

The house size and bedrooms was just right for our family of 9. Our kids and grands all surf, so being close to the beach was perfect. We hiked at Elkhorn Slough, played volleyball, sat in the hot tub and played and lounged on the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes. We ate most meals in the condo. I would recommend providing beach chairs for guests. Our three generations enjoyed this vacation!

We love the ocean and love Monterey Dunes. The dunes offer a unique setting. The dunes are a ecosystem unto itself. Very rare to have the dunes to be viewed from the home as well the ocean.

we are in the middle of nowhere short distance to Santa Cruz to the north, and to the south: Big Sur, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Monterey, and Point Lobos

we live in a gated community. We have a community pool (when in season) jacuzzi, Tennis , Golf nets, volley ball, pickle ball, basketball, bocce ball and shuffle board at the clubhouse a short walk away for the unit.
