Our stay at Sunrise Paradise was wonderful. We travel with long time friends and always have fun. There was plenty of room for the four couples to gather at tables (indoor and out) for eating and card games. The dock was used to fish daily, the corn hole boards were used several nights and the kayaks were used once. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and warm with some floats included. If you want to use the pool basketball hoop bring a ball as we could not find one but it didn't matter to us. The outside grill and bar area were used several nights and when we ran out of gas for the grill management brought new tanks in the morning. It would have been nice to have a few beach chairs for Sombrero Beach, however, I imagine those get broken often.The house was laid out as described. The fifth bathroom is in the outside kitchen area and has a shower. King beds are upstairs, queen beds are downstairs and they were clean and comfortable.We had a few hiccups accessing the tv's for use, getting the dryer on the proper setting to actually dry the pool towels and figuring out the downstairs wine cooler just didn't work (will be looked into) but overall the stay was problem free.The management company will send "standardized" messages in reply to your questions (check with the team, look into it) and then send a reply to your specific question later. The location was perfect for restaurants, grocery stores and local activities. Our group would stay again anytime.

Wonderful Vacation

The location of this house is great. Beach 1/2 mile, grocery store 3/4 mile away, plenty of activities to do around the area. The house is set up perfect. We spent most of the time at the pool and outdoor bar area. House was clean and host was responsive. Recommended!

Best Birthday Ever

We created memories that will last a lifetime at this property. Beautifully appointed. There were a few issues but owner was quick to attend and make things right. Grocery is 4 min away. Quiet and lovely from beginning to end. Property manager was amazing in answering questions and making suggestions before arrival. Marathon is beautiful with lots of great restaurants. However we ate in most nights feasted on great food and great views.

Amazing House

What an amazing stay we recently had at this property. The location is perfect, close to grocery stores and shopping, along with an easy walk/bike ride to Sombrero Beach. We made easy day trips to Dry Tortuga, Key West and north to the Dolphin Research Center. This property is beyond what the photos show. The property managers were extremely easy to communicate with, and we also met the owner, who was super! Our only small recommendation would be to increase the temperature of the hot tub a few degrees when its the chilly time of the year in Marathon. We will definitely be back.

Perfect!

The house was all around amazing, and the owner was very responsive to our needs. It was truly a dream house with the outdoor kitchen/bar, pool table and 2 outdoor TVs. We spent most of our time at the house swimming and fishing. Caught enough fish off the dock to keep the boys interest all week long. Loved to see our kids having so much outdoor fun and never missed their video games! Kayaks were great, we saw manatees just outside the channel. Rented a boat for 3 days and caught several shark! We will be back for sure.

Book It ASAP - You Won’t Be Disappointed

This house has ruined future Spring Breaks for us - it was AMAZING! We had 4 adults and 6 kids (ages 5-13) and we all loved the house and amenities. The listing and images are accurate - state of the art appliances and GORGEOUS! It was great having three areas for our family to hang out in and not feel on top of each other - the house, the pool area, and the dock. A manatee came up to our dock and drank water from the hose the kids were using to spray off their fishing mess - so cool! The location is wonderful - left out the driveway takes you to the beach and grocery stores and shopping are to the right. We are already talking about booking this house for an adults-only trip to Marathon. Book it now - you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing property

Stayed for a week in the beginning of September 2020. Let me start by saying that the pictures do not do this property justice. The check in process was absolutely perfect. Met the owner (Roger) and the property manager (Jessy) at check in and they showed us all of the ins and outs of the property. There’s nothing missing with this property. The property manager was on point and she checked in on us throughout the week. Texted us to make sure we did not need anything and even provided information on nearby boat ramps. If I had any questions she was always available. Don’t miss out.

Roaches, bugs, and a really bad property manager

This appeared to be a nice house but it had roaches and bugs. The property manager said, "this is south Florida, what do you expect.". They did not even provide a broom until after I had bought one myself and there was garbage left out when we arrived at the house. The property manager also sent repair people to the house and didn't tell us. She claimed she "made a mistake." The property manager is not properly maintaining this property. It's unfortunate as I think it could have been amazing if she did a better job. I would not stay here again.

Overall wonderful with a few improvements

We stayed here the end of April 2023 and overall had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, the pool is clean, and the dock and location are fantastic. It was very clean, but the smell of the cleaner they used is very powerful and lingered all week. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, plates/cups/wine glasses/utensils/etc. Biggest complaint is the lack of trash bags, paper towels, and dishwasher, laundry pods. These are key items you would need to keep the house tidy during your stay and for some reason they skimp on them. We were greeted with a gift basic full of goodies and a bottle of Kendall Jackson Chardonay, but only given two trash bags and one roll of paper towels for 8 people for the whole week. Only given 4 dishwasher and washer/dryer pods for the whole week?? With 8 people living at the house, you are running the dishwasher every night and have at least a bag of trash a day. We had to go buy a full box of trash bags, laundry pods and dishwasher pods because you can't buy just 5 of them. I would have rather them kept the bottle of wine and given us more trash bags to be honest. When you're paying $1200/night it feels silly to have to go buy extra paper towels and laundry pods. We also only had 8 bath towels for 8 people, so even with running laundry we ran out quickly, but they did bring more to the house upon my request. Not sure if it was the time of year or our location, but the bugs were pretty bad. The "no-see-ums" destroyed my husband's legs in less than 5 minutes of being outside at night. They had 4 citronella candles, but they actually won't stay lit because the wax melts and puts out the flame. Be sure to bring bug spray! The outside TV never worked, which was a bummer as the Bruins were playing the Panthers all week. The downstairs wine fridge also didn't work, but there was another one upstairs, so it wasn't a big deal, but was an inconvenience. The dryer lint collector was not the original for the dryer and therefore didn't seat properly. A corner of it stays up and the clothes get tangled around it, which shredded a few of my shirts and my sons swim trucks. I did tell management so hopefully that is fixed before anyone else's stay. The dock is great and it's quick and easy to access the Atlantic. The channel that is marked right outside of the mouth of the canal is VERY shallow and at one place it's only 9" at low tide so be careful! Overall, the house was exactly as pictured and beautiful inside and out!

Second Amazing Stay

We absolutely love this property and will continue booking this house! We had great weather and had a great time. There is construction going on at the property next door which wasn't there the last time we stayed but they kept construction noise to a minimum on the week we were there. This is a great family friendly house with so many amenities and conveniences. Thank you again for hosting us!

Beautiful Home!

We had a fabulous time staying here! The amenities were plentiful. The outdoor space was perfect for hanging out. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and the dock was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. One of the downstairs queen bedrooms does not have an attached bathroom but there is a full bath right outside the door. The views are breathtaking. A few things to note: READ THE MANUAL ABOUT THE POOL / SPA BEFORE PRESSING ANY BUTTONS! Other helpful noteworthy tips are that they do not provide trash bags or refrigerated condiments, a bare minimum of paper products are onsite. They do have a Keurig and regular coffee pot. We did not find any inside games, such as cards, but they do have a basketball hoop for the pool, and a yard game. I would recommend this home!

Amazing House!

Great location for fishing, snorkeling and just enjoying the keys! Overall a great experience and the house is even better than the pictures listed… two negatives (only reason it didn’t get a 5 star) 1. It is a VERY tight channel to get your boat in/out that is NOT MARKED. There is about a 200 yard stretch that twists in that is about 12’ wide with about 1’ of water on each side. 2. Apparently you have to pay extra to have the hot tub turned on. I understand having to pay to heat the pool but when you pay 8k a week to rent a house and then have to pay an extra 300 just to turn the hot tub on it feels excessive. Overall, very happy we stayed there an has been the best place we have ever rented in the keys!

This is hands down the nicest vacation rental I have stayed in. The pictures....although great....do not do it justice, it is even better! My friends and I were there to celebrate my 60th birthday and even though our fishing charters were all canceled due to high winds all week, staying in this house helped us salvage the week. We cooked some great meals in both the inside and outdoor kitchens, and relaxing around the pool was nice. Jessenia, the property manager, was very easy to work with and always responded to any questions/ needs we had in a timely manner. The only discrepancy we found was the property description says there is a "pool table", which we were looking forward to a few games of billiards, but there was not one. The location is as good as you can find in the Keys. Only a minute to the ocean, about a mile from Publix and near some good restaurants. The house also has a very nice boat dock that we were able to catch quite a few fish from. I come to the Keys every year and I hope this property is available for my next trip

Amazing Amazing Amazing

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children (5, 3, 3 and 9 months) had simply the best vacation ever! Words can't describe how incredible the house was and the outdoor pool and patio was everything we had hoped for. We arrived after our adult children and grandchildren and our text before we arrived said "be so excited - it is even better than we had hoped". Many thanks to Jesse (property manager) and Roger (owner) for all of their assistance before and during our stay. We so appreciated your promptness. We were so pleased with the indoor and outdoor kitchen and loved having two refrigerators. I have to mention the beds as well - everyone said amazing things and we all had the greatest nights of sleep. The house and pool were spotless and it was a bonus to have the hot tub. We did request the heater since we were there in early February and were happy that we did. Many thanks to Roger for sharing this spectacular home and for all the extras and details. It made a difference for us and we had just a perfect week. We sure hope we can make it back again some day!

We Will Be Back!

Our week was outstanding. This property is by far the nicest rental we have stayed at in the Keys for the past 30yrs! It is a beautiful home, and the outdoor kitchen and bathroom were so nice! The pool was crystal clear all week and after a tropical storm passed through the pool guy was there within hours of calling for a quick clean up. We met the owner who wanted to be sure our stay was the best. The check in and out process was super easy and seamless. The canal had some grass but that happens in the Keys. Thanks for the hospitality, we will be back!

Spectacular Home!

This home is awesome! Probably one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in. It is brand-new construction in a welcoming contemporary style. It is a great-room plan which is perfect for cooking and just hanging out together. It has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (3 on-suite) … great for several couples, as was our case. We all had ample privacy. The backyard is phenomenal with a full kitchen/bbq area and pool/spa. We spent many days there. The management team as well as the owner of the property did a wonderful job keeping in touch with us and addressing the few concerns we had. They took care of any requests immediately and were always available to us. We HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone visiting the Keys. It is centrally located and you will not be disappointed.

Lobster season

Our family and another came down to the opening of lobster season this year. The house was truly fantastic. The kids had a great time playing in the pool. The dock was great, had no problem docking two boats for the week. Loved having the bath and shower outside in the gazebo. Kids and adults enjoyed playing pool on the back deck. Only complaint was the canal had quite a few weeds blown in. Overall a great trip for the two families.
