Family Get Together

This was a lovely place to have a family celebration for a 70th birthday. The rooms were plentiful, comfortable, and clean. The area had lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, and was close enough to both Austin and San Marcos for swimming and river floating.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Excellent location and the house is very spacious. We had 7 staying and had plenty of room when the three local family members joined us for dinner. The yard is beautiful. We had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

The property was located close to our destination. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and feels very homey and comfortable. It has all of the amenities you made need. The owner was very accommodating to our special needs.

The coziest home away from home!!!

This property was so incredibly charming. It was clean and very kid and pet friendly. The neighborhood also felt safe which was a plus for us! The host was always very responsive for any questions I might have had. We would definitely stay here again, given the opportunity!!!

Lovely home with lots of room and supplies

This home is so lovely it was a joy just to see all the decorations and antiques! It accommodated our group very nicely and had lots of supplies for the time we stayed. Only thing is the downstairs area does not have a full bathroom (in case a guest has limited mobility).

What a Lovely Spot

Family members were arriving from around the country for a wedding. Everybody or couple had their own bedroom and there were many gathering spots both inside and outside for family to spend time together. Also the kitchen could accommodate lots of food being made for all.Great house - we would be happy to rent it again in the future.

Wonderful Property!

Stayed the weekend, it's a beautiful home, fully stocked, comfortable, and super cozy. Plenty of outdoor space with great sitting areas. Parking in the back is a bit tricky, but manageable. The downstairs bedroom is only a half-bath, so you have to go upstairs to shower. Overall great place to stay!

Amazing!

Having recently moved from Austin, I needed a place to host my family for our annual Easter weekend, and Sallie’s house exceeded my expectations in every way. Comfortable house, beautiful yard. It was really like hosting in my own home. Everyone asked me to find out if I can go ahead and book it for Easter 2026! :-)

My name is Sallie Chandler and I purchased this home in November 2019. I'm was born in Houston, Tx but have lived in Austin for 20 years.
I have 3 beautiful daughters and 5 grandsons.
My primary occupation is Residential Property Management.
I now own two Airbnb homes in the Kyle and Buda area and was awarded Super Host in 2017.
It makes my heart happy when I can open my home to wonderful people like yourself.
All I ask is that you take good care of my home. It is very special to me.
