I lived in Sarasota for 10 years and LOVE this amazing city. I'm a PR executive, adjunct professor and guest lecturer, mentor, University of S. Florida and Rollins College graduate who is active in education and healthcare philanthropy. Born in NY, raised in FL and lived in Denver, Chicago, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Nashville. Love city life with rural get aways to these cities and far parts of the world. Dog and nature lover. NPR junkie, florist wannabe, cyclist, swimmer, yogi, sailor and foodie.

When I left Sarasota 20 years ago for my career I always knew I'd be back. This lovely downtown location now sits in a thriving part of the city while remaining true to its lush landscape near Selby Gardens and the Flower District neighborhood. I'm excited to share my Villa Jasmine that sits on seven acres with beautiful and big oak and banyan trees with water access from Hudson Bayou to the Bay. It's available several months of the year with those from near and far who find Sarasota as special as I do.

Whether you like the outdoors, walking/running/sailing, arts, theater, dining, divey beach bars or heading to the some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, you've found your special place. Sarasota was named one of U.S. News and World Report's "Best Places to Retire" and "100 Best Places to Live.” This lovely town was also voted one of the "Happiest Cities in the United States” by National Geographic Explorer. Sarasota is ranked one of the "best beach towns in America."
Take advantage of the season’s bounty at the Rosemary District’s Thursday Night Farmers Market, The Downtown Sarasota Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and the Central Sarasota Farmer’s Market also on Saturdays. Boat shows. Art festivals, symphony, opera or ballet. Sarasota's world-class medical facilities provide peace of mind with six area hospitals. The (Ringling) Sarasota Art Museum is 2 blocks east and Selby Gardens/Orchid Cafe is two blogs west.
Renowned restaurants Bijou Cafe, Indigenous, Element, Sage, and Selva Grill are walking distance. For performances, The Sarasota Opera, Florida Studio Theater and Burns Court Cinema are in the area. The Sarasota Ballet and Van Weezel Performing Arts Center sit a few miles north. A variety of excellent grocers, Morton’s Market (south), Whole Foods (north) and Publix (east) are less than 1 mile away. Nightlife at The Westin Rooftop, Art Ovation, Pacific Rim, Meliora and Libby’s on South Osprey in the medical district are also close.
