Outstanding place for our Memorial day weekend. Beautiful house located in very nice, safe area. Very close driving distance to Siesta key beach and had all the beach gear we could ask for. House was clean, bed was very comfortable, and communication was excellent. Thank you!

Nancy and Doug's house in Gulf Gate is everything you need to enjoy your time in Sarasota and Siesta Key Beach. Everything worked! All appliances worked, the plumbing all worked, the water pressure was great. If you plan on staying here and are renting a car make sure you rent something small if you are thinking about parking in the garage. I drove my truck down and there was no way it would fit in there so I just parked outside (no big deal). There are plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils to get you through your vacation. The house is in a convenient location. Close to the grocery store, and many other stores and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood too. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience the beach life.

We were visiting Sarasota for the YMCA National Masters Swim Championships. The property was immaculate, furnished and equipped with more than we needed. It was the perfect respite after long days of competition. The fenced backyard was a plus. Nancy responded immediately to any of our inquiries, and was a marvelous host. The location was close to grocery stores, restaurants, and Siesta Key! Would stay here again!

The property was exactly as pictured. It was very clean with all the essentials fora comfortable stay. The location was close to Siesta Key and Lido Beach and all of the attractions available in those areas. It was nice to come back to a comfortable snd peaceful place after a day of exploring. Check in land check out very easy.

The home was in a quiet neighborhood. We attended a function while in area for the week therefore we we out of the house between 6 AM to 5 PM everyday. The house was clean an functional for one couple since there is only one bathroom. The living room TV did not work which was communicated to the owners but they did not respond until after checkout. This was not a big deal since we were out most of the day. Again, the house was a nice place to stay very close to the market- Publix.

Amazing Stay!

The house is the cleanest house we have stayed in! Had everything we needed for a day at the beach it was amazing. Was also within good distance of everything.

Always like staying here. Its so convenient to everything. The neighborhood is quiet, beaches and restaurants close by, and the owner leaves you a generous "starter pack" of supplies. One of the best things about this house is it's always clean when you arrive. Can't wait to return!

Another Nice Stay

This is the second stay at this property. Each stay has been great and suited our needs. The location works well for our trips to visit family in the area. Nancy is terrific and we would definitely look at staying here on a future trip.

We recently stayed at this property for a month. The house was exactly as described, very clean, recently upgraded and remodeled. The host was great, the communication with the host was fantastic. The house was very well equipped with a webber grill, any kitchen item you may need, beach gear, beach chairs and even a pair of bcycles. The area is very convenient for shopping and I have to recomend detwilers market for your grocery shopping.

Clean, Comfortable Cottage with Quick Access to Gulf Beaches

We had a very pleasant one week stay. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive. We look forward to staying here the next time we are in Sarasota.

Great stay as always!

Enjoyed our stay in Nancy's house over the 4th. House was comfortable and well appointed, as always, and we had a nice treat to be able to see outstanding fireworks from the back yard! Location is great, neighborhood is quiet - a most enjoyable stay!

Spring Break Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was comfortable and fit our needs It was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit. We appreciated all the beach gear that was available and the use of two bicycles as they made our adventures better.

Made a Great Weekend Even Better!

The house had everything we possibly could need for a relaxing weekend on the beach. The backpack straps on the beach chairs made it so easy to get set up for a day on the beach!

I rented this property for a month long job assignment. The house was perfect for my needs. Nancy has thought of everything, the house is fully stocked with all needed items. Weber grill in the backyard, beach chairs in the garage, bikes for your use and a wonderful lanai to enjoy at the end of the day. Close to beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to book this cottage, you won’t regret it.
