Gian Maria is an incredible host, offering suggestions for many authentic Venetian restaurants and must-see activities. The apartment offered all the amenities we needed, including washing machine and dryer. The beds were more comfortable than any rental we've ever been in, and there was plenty of room for our family of 5. Can't say enough positive things. Thank you Gian Maria!

Great Stay - great Host

Gian Maria was very knowledgeable and communicated with us constantly, before, after and during our stay. He let us keep our luggage in the apartment in the early morning let us enjoy Venezia carefree. Apartment in a quiet, safe neighbourhood mins from everything, including a grocery store!

Great place in Venice

The apartment was perfect for our family. There were great restaurants and gelato right outside the door. Everything was walkable. He was very responsive and checked in to make sure our visit was going well. Highly recommended!!!

Great apartment

Thank goodness for great A/C in apartment. An extra fan would be nice in bedroom. Needed more towels too. Location was hard to navigate but I think that’s just Venice. Host was wonderful. Great communication.

The host was very responsive, and the apartment, although small, was very nice and clean. I would advise future guests to arrange a water taxi (to the dock near Rufio Pizza in Santa Croce. Is just a short walk—and only one bridge—to walk. The neighbor hood is quiet and away from the crazy crowds! Limotaxivenice.com

Great location and flexible host

This apartment was in the perfect location. Everything was walkable and it wasn’t in the middle of the chaos. Very cute resident neighborhood. We had a great time staying here for two nights as a family of 5. Host was very flexible with dropping luggage off.

Comfortable stay in a a perfect location

Great Spot

We had great communication. The host messaged me long before my trip. Day of we were offered early check in to match our train as well as ability to stay a little later. The house was clean and had all the things we needed. There were 6 of us and we all stayed comfortably no problem. Don’t miss out on this place it was great!

Fine accommodations, great location

We loved the location and enjoyed the relative quiet while staying close to all the sites. This apartment was not very comfortable, though, with sagging mattresses and limited heat. Also seemed high priced, but maybe that’s just Venice market. Owner was very communicative.

Nice stay, great host

Gianmaria was a great host and very helpful from the time of booking through to check out. The property is located fairly centrally in a quiet part of Venice. It is about a 10-minute walk from the train station with some bridges and stairs involved so plan for that if you are bringing a lot of luggage. It is nice that he has both a washer and dryer for laundry.

Great place in Venice. Super clean!

Gian Maria was very responsive to questions and had the room early when we arrived earlier than originally planned. Away from most of the crowds - the street was a little loud but by 11 pm (on a Saturday) had quieted down. Did not see a grill or hot tub but didn’t have a need for those in a cool November. Would definitely stay there again if we ever return to Venice!

The apartment was charming and had all that we needed. The location was great and a short walk from the train station. Gian Maria was an exceptional host. He was very communicative with us prior to and during our stay. We appreciated the well stocked coffee and laundry supplies.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruga Bella. It’s located on a quiet street but located close to cafes and restaurants. It is a very spacious apartment and the beds were so comfortable. The host was so accommodating and was quick to respond to messages. I would highly recommend staying at Ruga Bella!

Great place!

My stay with our 4 adult children was wonderful. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The beds are comfortable, the flat is on a quiet street with an adjacent plaza. Great restaurants, gelato and shopping in easy walking distance. Just a 9 minute walk from the water taxi stop. We are so happy we selected this rental. Highly recommend
