Our stay here was very special. 9 family members from 3 generations visited Normandy because my dad was part of the DDay invasion. The military sights were amazing and meaningful. My greatest surprise was just how beautiful the area is. This home is perfectly situated to explore or relax. The town is lovely with many dining options. Most importantly the house is historically wonderful with comfortable beds and baths and ample room to gather. The views from the house are amazing as it sits right on the beach. Christine and Jean-Francois were so charming, friendly and accommodating. Our entire experience far exceeded my expectations.

Amazing Sea Front Villa in a Picturesque French Town

We absolutely loved staying at this villa and would recommend it to anyone. Christine was an amazing host and took care of our every needs. The villa is right on the beach and a short walk to the town restaurants. There's a small French town energy at Grandcamp-Maisy and staying at this Villa definitely made use feel a part of it.

Our large family spent 4 wonderful days at this charming house on the beach. The hosts were amazing! They were so kind and gracious our entire trip. Grandcamp-Maisy is a quaint town. There is a path on the beach from the house to the seafront which is about a 5 minute walk from the house. We also visited Arromanches, Utah beach, and Omaha beach, all which were 10-20 minute drive away from the house - perfect. The kids loved walking on the beach and swimming in the sea. Every evening we enjoyed wine and cheese in the backyard overlooking the sea. The bedrooms were nicely furnished, comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Can’t recommend this house enough. .

The perfect place for our family of 14!

Our family of 14 all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa by the sea. Christine and Jean Francois were the kindest hosts. We had a medical emergency our first night there, and in the early morning hours Jean Francois was there to help us through it. He even followed to the hospital in Bayeaux to make sure things went smoothly. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable and we so enjoyed the view!

Amazing family location!

This is a true gem!! Christine and Jean Francois are amazing hosts, easy to communicate with and made our stay one of our most memorable family vacations! After a long travel day we arrived to this magnificent home with smells of true comfort in the kitchen…something my children still remember as a highlight of our trip! The location is perfect, easy to access the many historical sites of Normandy. The home is well appointed and has plenty of room for a large group. There is even a trampoline which was great for the kids to get some energy out! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and most definitely will be going back to visit!!

We enjoyed our stay here with our family from France. The house was spacious (we had 12 people staying in it.) The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our family dinners. WIFI was a little weak in certain areas of the house. I do think the cleaning fee was a little more than I expected, but it was my first European rental so I don’t know if this is normal. The owners gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants in town. Location was close to WWII sites.
