It has been a great family weekend at a wonderful location

We have spent a great family weekend at this wonderful apartment located at the second floor of a town house from the early 1900's that overlooks the village of Erba. Unconditionally recommended when you are looking for a great place to stay with a lot of heritage and an owner that has a lot of attention for of detail.

Spectacular house with a great houselord

I spent a week with friends in this amazing house. The host was very helpful, friendly. The house is very spacious, surrounded by a beautiful, fenced garden. Rich equipment, fully met our expectations. Great views from the balcony or garden.

Beautiful villa

The apartment is in the top floor of a beautiful villa, the grounds are spacious and well maintained. Alessandro, the owner was great and provided us with vegetables from his own garden. He also shared some of the organic crackers his company. The views from the windows of the villa are beautiful and you can see two of the nearby lakes.

Shawn was a perfect host and I'm happy to know that he loved to stay in my house. His nice family appreciated so much to visit the region around Erba with the lakes and it was really a pleasure to host people so polite and happy to visit all beautiful places in Italy.

Authentic Italian experience

What a fantastic property. We stayed for a wedding nearby and Allesandro was very welcoming. The apartment is absolutely beautiful with amazing views. The garden is equally as impressive. We would happily stay here again and for longer next time. My only very very slight critisism, could do with a few more mugs for tea and bowls for breakfast. If you're after a slice of authentic Italian architecture and experience you can't beat this place.

Thank you Aman for your kind review, but also for your visit. You have a very nice family and it was for me very pleasant to host you. And thanks for your "slight criticism" about the tea bowls: I did not remember how much English people love and drink tea!

Meet real Italy in Erba

The mansion lies above the village of Erba. we lived in the top floor with a nice view overlooking the village and into the large enclosed garden area with beautiful old trees The host is a nice and helpful person who welcomed us with a tray of delicious fresh veggies and tomatoes from the garden at the premises, for which we thank him very much.! The village is perfectly situated in between the beautiy of lake Como and Milano and Bergamo. The village of Erba is unspoilt by .mass toerism and you will meet the ‘real’ Italy here. Yet the village has all one might need and more. A very reccomendable stay!

Incredibly beautiful

I stayed for 6 nights at this property with 2 friends. It is a huge flat that allowed all of us to have our own bed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, modern and quite nice - allowing a bath as well as shower. The kitchen is small, but quite adequate for the meals we prepared there. The grounds and balcony, off the main living area, overlook some of the most beautiful vantage points of this stunning area. It was tranquil and romantic - with church bells quietly chiming in the background. We had a rental car to go to Lake Como and various towns on the lake. There are close supermarkets accessible by car. Right outside the gate of the property was a lovely restaurant - Italia. I would strongly suggest. The owner of the property was away, but his representative, Francesco, showed us everything we needed to know about the property and immediate area. I can not overstate how lovely he was: very pleasant, accommodating, gentle, kind and modest. He was attentive to our every need and made the experience even more gratifying. A true gentleman. We would return anytime!

Dear Kathy, even if I could not have the pleasure to meet you during your stay in Erba I have been informed by Francesco in detail about you and your friends and now I regret much more to have been away all the time you've been to my house. I hope you can come back to my house soon another time so I have the chance and the pleasure of meeting you again.

Merci !
