We very much enjoyed our stay, great house, just a few annoyances
We (family of 5) very much enjoyed this house. We've been spring-breaking in Orlando a few times before and all agreed that this has been our favorite home so far. Lots of room, great pool, nice amenities. One of the primary reasons I pulled the trigger on this house was the lack of neighbors to the rear of the house. We've had bad experiences in the past with rowdy neighbors but not this year!A couple cons to this home. First and foremost is the alarm system on the sliders to the patio/pool. This is honestly the most annoying device ever invented. Even on a gorgeous 70 degree day, you cannot leave the sliders open for more than a few seconds. Spending the entire day by the pool with kids? Prepare for that alarm going off every time the youngest forgets to push the button twice on the way to the bathroom. Hands full with sunscreen and sodas on the way out? Prepare to be annoyed while you set half of the stuff down to free your hands, shuffle through quickly, grab stuff, push buttons in a panic. It was a real detractor...we have PTSD from the alarm sounding...but the pool was fantastic, as was the hot tub.The other con was the game room. The simulator was disconnected and did not work, the Xbox required sign-in with emails, accounts, the whole nine. So it was really not usable at all for our kids. The projector worked, so that was nice. Our kids did use it a few times.I'd stay at this house again but only if I could pay extra to disable the pool alarm system...
