We were 4 families on a Sunday River Christmas Break ski vacation. House was perfect. Downhill walk to Roadrunner and strap on the boards. So many sleeping combinations. Kitchen is amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace apres ski. Amanda was fantastic. She reached out often and responded to messages immediately. Check-in process was very easy. Highly recommend.

This beautiful house was the perfect setting for our family reunion. We loved the cabin feel, the spacious kitchen, the downstairs arcade, the hot tub, and the bunk rooms for the kids. It was the perfect space to connect as a family, play lots of games, enjoy the outdoors, and make lovely memories. Amanda was a gracious host, very accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

The Fun House

When we arrived the home was inviting and consistent with the photos. The house had ample parking, plenty of amenities, and was clean. We had a wonderful family celebration for my husband's 60th birthday.

Marvelous mountain House!

15 family members stayed in Amanda’s home for 4 nights. It was perfect for our family. Hot tub, so many beds, game room , incredibly well stocked kitchen, two dishwashers!! We all had so much fun, fire pit for stories, hot tub for all to relax , lots of space a dining table that fit all 15 of us, kids loved the game room. We had plenty of towels, dishes, cooking pans and pots , serving plates. And all of those martini, wine etc glasses. W made good use of all. Thank you, Amanda!

Great house, great location

We had a great stay at Amanda's property! We stayed here for our annual friends/family ski trip. The house is located a short walk off the trail which made for easy access and incredible convenience. Relaxing in the hot tub was a fantastic way to end the ski day. The house was clean and spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. Communication w the host was excellent and check in was seamless. 5/5 stars, would absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

Awesome House, Great Location

We love Sunday River. This house is fantastic for anyone looking for a place to accommodate multiple families with people of all ages. The game room is great for kids (& adults), while the main level is perfect for adults to hang out, and the hot tub is ideal after a long day of skiing. The walk to the roadrunner trail is an easy 3-4 minutes. Would undoubtedly stay here again.

Really nice place.

Great time at Sunday River. The house is/was great. Everything needed for an epic ski vacation. From the hot tub to kitchen to fireplace, game room, equipment room, and bedrooms it was all very well done. If one of your goals is to be first up a chairlift you’ll make it from this starting point. Ownership was quick to respond about questions. Thanks to all for a great experience.

Celebrated a 70th birthday and Thanksgiving with 3 generations. Owner was very accommodating and responsive. Beautiful home!

Beautiful, spacious home. Everything we wanted and needed

This was an amazing home for a 40th birthday celebration with eight women. We loved all cooking together in the huge kitchen, there was seating for everyone in every room, the bedrooms are spread out so everyone gets privacy and quiet when they want it. We loved the hot tub and it was a beautiful day on Saturday so we sat outside at the picnic table on the deck and painted. The area is lovely to take a walk, it's a quiet neighborhood and we felt safe. The fireplaces are beautiful and we had a fire in the big one on Saturday evening. The game room was not something we thought we cared about but we ended up having so much fun playing the games! It brought back memories of Atari 5200. Overall, everything was wonderful and we would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Attended a wedding in Bethel and had 15 family members from ages 5-82! We were able to hike and play outside and when it rained for two days, we all had time and space to occupy ourselves in the home! Great place to stay and enjoy yourselves!

Always clean properties

These owners do a great job at cleaning and thinking of everything you could need during your stay. The pots and pans could be replaced (deep gouges) BUT they have everything you could need in the kitchen. Large house that fit over 20 comfortably. The ONLY ISSUE we had was mold in the basement. There was visible black mold and 3 out of the 9 people down there left coughing and congested.

Beautiful ski house

Staying here was amazing! From the moment we arrived we were blown away with how beautiful the property was. Everything was very clean when we got there and there is definitely plenty of space for big groups of people! The beds were extremely comfortable which barely any of us have ever experienced with a rental before, so that was a plus! The game room was definitely utilized and the second fridge in the basement was great for all our extra food and drinks we had!! If you have a big group you should definitely consider staying here, the hosts were very prompt at responding to our questions and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The hot tub was also a plus that was used all weekend!!

Awesome House!

We recently stayed at this house in Sunday River for a short golf trip. There were eight of us in the house and it was more than accomodating for our group. The kitchen was amazing and a great gathering spot. The game room in the basement was also a favorite, so much fun and many options to keep everyone entertained. There were plenty of utensils, pots/pans, linens, etc. I would highly recommend this rental if you are staying in the area!

Family Reunion

All five of our kids and some of their spouses and grandkids all stayed. We had the time of our lives! The Mountain House was wonderful and was close to many activities. We were busy from morning to night and had many last nights catching up. When it rained we stayed in and hung out. Plenty of room for everyone of all ages. Loved it!

Over 20 years ago, we built our first home, the FunHouse—a launchpad for many Getmans to become passionate skiers and outdoor enthusiasts. From there, we had a blast designing the Paddle House and Skitopia, each crafted with families like ours in mind.
