Group Friendly | Fire Pit, Sauna & Hot Tub

Breathe Deep. You’ve Arrived.

Tucked into the stillness of the Maine woods and just about 15 minutes from the lifts at Sunday River, Sunday Basecamp is where mountain moments turn into lifelong memories. It’s more than a stay—it’s a return to what matters: nature, connection, and ease.

Wake slowly with coffee and sunlight streaming through soaring A-frame windows. After a day on the slopes or trails, slip into the private hot tub or barrel sauna and let the quiet work its magic. Let the kids take over the game room while you prep dinner in the chef-ready kitchen, or gather the whole crew for a movie night that turns into stories by the fire pit.

Whether you're a multi-gen family, adventure-loving couple, ski-obsessed crew, or a work-from-mountain traveler, this home is designed with you in mind. From remote-work-ready Wi-Fi to curated spaces for play, rest, and reconnection, everything you need is here—ready when you are.

What You’ll Love:
Four bedrooms + bunk room with flexible sleeping for up to 16 guests
A private 7-person hot tub and cedar sauna under the stars
Game room with billiards, mini basketball, foosball, and board games
Separate media lounge with 70'' Roku TV for movie nights or game day
Fully stocked chef’s kitchen with spacious indoor/outdoor dining
Fire pit with Adirondack chairs, three-season porch, and spacious deck
Fast, reliable Wi-Fi and designated workspace for remote professionals
Kid- and pet-friendly touches: toys, games, Pack ’n Play, and dog crate (with approval)
Thoughtful extras: starter coffee pods, s’mores kit, plush towels, and labeled essentials

Your Basecamp for Every Season

In winter, get first tracks at Sunday River or Mt. Abram, then soak and stargaze. In summer and fall, hike Grafton Notch, explore waterfalls, or unwind with lawn games and a local beer in hand. Year-round, Bethel’s charm, trails, and community are just minutes away.

With self-check-in, detailed guidance, and warm, personal support from your hosts, Sunday Basecamp offers a retreat that’s as seamless as it is special.

Come for the mountains. Stay for the meaning.

Sunday Basecamp is where stories are shared, adventures begin, and slow mornings turn into unforgettable days.

My group loved our stay here! The house is spacious, clean, and modern. We loved the big backyard and all of the amenities, and as seven adults were very comfortable. The location was convenient to town, nature destinations, and to Sunday River (where we golfed). I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area.

The stay itself was mostly fine, with only minor issues initially. Upon arrival, the bathroom drain was clogging and the outdoor garbage can was completely full. To their credit, the host was responsive and helped resolve these during our stay.Unfortunately, after checkout the experience changed significantly. The host accused us of damaging a piece of furniture and of leaving the hot tub water “dirty.” These accusations are not accurate. When we left, the furniture in question was intact and in the same condition as during the stay. After checkout, the host sent photos showing an entire door from that piece of furniture removed and lying on the floor—something that was not present when we departed. Rather than trying to discuss the discrepancy, the host immediately took an aggressive and accusatory tone and threatened to file a complaint. Regarding the hot tub, it is an outdoor amenity exposed to weather and debris. It was used appropriately, and hot tubs should be filtered and cleaned by the host between guests as part of normal turnover. While I regret not taking timestamped photos or video before leaving, I had no reason to expect false damage claims. This is otherwise a well-maintained property, so I was not expecting to need to document anything. If you stay here, please do.Although the stay itself was uneventful, the host’s post-stay conduct was unfair and concerning. I would not stay here again and would caution future guests to document everything carefully.

Thank you for your feedback. We were happy to resolve the drain and trash concerns promptly during your stay. For transparency, our documented post-checkout inspection found furniture damage and hot tub issues that required follow-up beyond normal cleaning and turnover. We do not make claims lightly, and when issues are identified, they are addressed through our standard process. We remain committed to maintaining the home carefully and to responding quickly when concerns are raised in real time.

Hi! We’re Melissa and Dylan—parents to two adventurous girls and two lovable pups. We believe the best memories are made in places that invite connection, whether that’s hitting the slopes, exploring the woods, or lingering over one more game or glass by the fire.

We created Sunday Basecamp as a space where families, friends, and fellow mountain and beach lovers can come together, unplug, and build lasting memories—just like we do. We’re so glad you’re here.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

At Sunday Basecamp, we’ve thought about every detail—not just what you’ll need, but what you’ll remember.

This is more than a mountain house—it’s a curated retreat for families, ski crews, couples, and family reunions alike. The kind of place where late-night laughs happen around the fire pit, where the sauna steams away sore ski legs, and where your kids ask to come back before they’ve even left.

We created Sunday Basecamp to be everything our own family wanted in a mountain escape: space to spread out, beauty that feels intentional, comfort without complication, and hospitality that’s human. Whether you're here for first tracks, fall hikes, summer lake days, or a work-week reset in the woods, you’ll find it easy to settle in and hard to leave.

What Makes Us Different:
Curated for comfort. No guessing games—everything’s labeled, stocked, and thoughtfully placed. From s’mores kits to board games to plush towels, it’s all ready when you are.
Made for connection. Fire pit chats, group dinners, movie nights, solo soaks in the hot tub—this home makes space for real togetherness.
Work-from-Mountain friendly. Fast Wi-Fi, natural light, and quiet spaces make it easy to log in—and even easier to log off.
Pet-ready (with approval). We welcome your small dogs with intention: toys, bowls, and a clear pet policy that keeps things stress-free.
Designed with love. We’ve hosted couples, families, and ski teams—and we’ve added to the home based on what each group loved most.
Warm, personal hosting. We're here if you need us and invisible when you don’t. Thoughtful pre-arrival notes, fast replies, and no templated responses.
When you stay at Sunday Basecamp, you’re not just renting a house—you’re stepping into a space that’s been lovingly prepared for your best days.

Come for the mountains. Stay for the meaning.
